~Elizabeth's Pov~

Meliodas had his arm around me, keeping me extremely close to him as we walked down the hallways of the castle. I wasn't completely sure where we were going. "Kaida thinks I could start showing soon" I soon informed Meliodas, remembering Kaida's words when I woke up from passing out. Meliodas turned his head, looking at me with a smile. I then informed me she wanted me to try wearing more loose/baggy tops and dresses from no onwards getting Meliodas to nod. "To think you're already this far along" he whispered, mostly to himself, getting his smile to grow. 

Meliodas ended up kissing my forehead before asking if there was anything else he missed. I knew it would be best to hold back the information of the honest question game Estarossa offered and the fact Zeldris and he believes I'm some reincarnation of a Liz Knight. "Kaida wants me to have a check-up very soon" I then informed him, not able to really think of anything else. Meliodas chuckled slightly moving his head closer to mine before offering to go see her now. I smiled nodding.

Now that Meliodas was back...I was perfectly fine with doing the check-up now. I...I just didn't want to do it without him before. I had completely no real reason why my mind and body were acting like this. I was very confused with it but at the same time...it almost felt like my body understood what was happening to it. "Ah yes, I just remembered something" Meliodas spoke getting us to stop walking. I looked at him confused before he pulled me extremely close to him. His smile turning into a small smirk. 

I wasn't sure what this was going to lead too. "Happy Birthday. My sweet Elizabeth" Meliodas then informed me, getting my eyes to widen from shock. My birthday? Today? I had completely forgotten all about it. It wasn't like I celebrated it back in the Human Clan anyways but it did mean that today I was officially eight-teen. It was very normal for me to forget my birthday after all these years and I normally hated it when people reminded me or tried to bring it up to me before...but...but...

But since it was Meliodas...I couldn't help but smile, my cheeks gaining a small sprinkle of pink dust glowing on my cheeks. "Thank you" I spoke, my voice being in the tone of a normal person. Meliodas then pulled me into a quick kiss before informing me I had a gift waiting back in our room. I nearly gave out an 'eh' in shock. I-I hadn't ever gotten a birthday gift before, I mean ever. Today would've been the first in the eight-teen years I've been alive to get one. Meliodas seemed to pick up on my shock getting me to chuckle.

"Now that your my queen expect me to treat you like one" he informed me before playing with some strands of my hair. I felt that dust of my cheeks only layer and grow. My smile growing alongside it as I thanked him again. Meliodas went to pull me into a kiss until we heard Chandler's voice calling Meliodas by his nickname. Meliodas looked annoyed before turning his head to the older demon. He looked slightly scared to even approach any closer than he did. Meliodas had pulled me even closer to him.

My hands on his chest as his body was keeping me very warm. "What is it?" Meliodas asked in a harsh tone getting Chandler to only sweat-drop in pure fear. My head ended up going onto Meliodas' shoulder, my body acting out on its own once again. "T-the Demon King wishes to speed up both the wedding and the ball" Chandler informed us. Ball? What ball? Meliodas gave out an annoyed 'tisk' before asking Chandler to leave. The old demon listened before moving faster than anyone I've seen. 

"Ball?" I asked getting Meliodas to look at me. His smile returning to his face. He moved one of his hands to crease my cheek gently before giving off an 'mmm'. "It's a ball to let you meet many of the major noble families within the Demon Clan" Meliodas then explained to me. I felt my own face to pale at the thought. My shy nature wasn't going to go well with being Meliodas' wife. Meliodas only chuckled before kissing the top of my head. "No need to worry. You don't have to say a single word to them. Most of them will lose their status and power once I'm crowned after all" Meliodas then informed me, getting me to remember.

It was easy to tell he saw by my face that I thought of something. "I remembered I was going to ask for your help with something" I spoke getting Meliodas to raise an eyebrow. He soon gave off an 'oh' before reminding me that whatever I wanted he would give me. I only felt my face burn up even more before telling him about Derieri and about some noble who was trying to force her to marry him. I also explained how I wanted to help her out of it somehow. Meliodas gave off a thinking face before his smile returned.

"I'll sort that out right away. She won't marry them once I'm done" Meliodas then replied getting me to smile at him brightly, thanking him yet a third time. Before anything else was said or done, Meliodas had pulled me into a kiss. Just like before, my body just moved as if it was second nature to kiss back. It wasn't long until we pulled away and then head off to the castle infirmary to have my first check-up with Kaida.
