~Elizabeth's Pov~ 

I ended up changing into the outfit Kaida had gotten me. I was now wearing a light blue wrap dress that had sleeves that went to my elbow. With the dress was black leggings and blue dolly shoes. Once I was dressed, Hawk and I left the curtained off put of the room. We saw Estarossa and Zeldris were both sitting in the waiting area of the infirmary. Kaida walked over to me. "Remember what I said about the clothes, remember to also stay calm and safe" Kaida spoke to me in a firm and strict voice. 

I nodded before she walked me and Hawk over to the two princes. Both of them looked over, Zeldris let out a small sigh of relief. "You two have your jobs. Keep it up and keep her CALM and SAFE understood?" Kaida asked harshly getting Estarossa to roll his eyes. Zeldris only nodded before the two stood up. I moved my hand to grab my other arm, not sure what to say. "I want Meliodas to come back" I heard Hawk whisper in fear. Kaida sighed shaking her head slightly. 

"First thing is to get you something to eat, Lady Elizabeth" I soon heard Gelda getting me and Zeldris to move our heads fast to see her walking into the infirmary. She had a smile on her face as normal. Her voice sounding calm. I nodded in reply while Kaida only nodded at Gelda. The two were close? That was when we all left the infirmary. Hawk was staying close by my side while Gelda was at my other. "What would you like to eat this morning?" Gelda asked me, making sure that I was distracted from my thoughts. 

"I still have my craving for strawberries" I answered in my normal quiet tone. Gelda only smiled at me more, putting her hands together. She was asking if I wanted anything with the strawberries. Hawk kept looking forward, not daring to move his line of sight at all. He was very scared of Meliodas' younger brothers. "Maybe a fruit salad" I answered getting Gelda to nod. I was just able to make out Zeldris giving Estarossa threats, telling him he better 'do his job right'. I was very confused as I normally was.

It didn't take very long until we were in the dining room. Gelda made sure that she sat next to me, both Zeldris and Estarossa sitting opposite us. "I believe it would be good for us all to get to know each other. It must be hard for Lady Elizabeth to trust people she doesn't know very well" Gelda then spoke getting Estarossa to smirk. He gave off an 'oh?' that reminded me of Meliodas'. Gelda was the first to glare at him. Zeldris I noticed was leaning back in his chair looking toward me then at his older brother then back at me.

He kept quiet and I had noticed he was watching me carefully. Was it because of the job Kaida has given him? "Why don't we all play that game I suggested? It is the fastest way to get to know each other" Estarossa offered with a wide smirk. I then and there started getting slightly worried. Gelda looked as if she wanted to argue but was unable to say anything to support her own claims to deny Estarossa. Zeldris looked annoyed while glaring at his older brother. I felt uneasy around him but I knew...I had to do this.

I had to fight my fears, no matter what they were. "Where do we start with this game?" I was the one to reply to Estarossa getting him to smirk at me. His line of sight on me, not daring to move it. Gelda had some sweat buildup while Zeldris was watching Estarossa even more closely than before. I heard Hawk whisper my name worried. "We take turns to ask each other, it's all of a matter of picking who starts" Estarossa replied, leaning forward to rest his arms onto the table. He started to put his weight on them. 

Gelda looked more annoyed but it was easy to see there wasn't a real escape from his request this time around. Without Meliodas here to threaten him enough to push him back...Meliodas... I missed him so much. "Just start already Estarossa" Zeldris soon snapped at his older brother. Gelda and I were slightly shocked but the sudden snap. Hawk was looking at me worried. Estarossa put his hands together, it was easy to see he was holding back his smirk from getting any bigger. "I'll start nicely. Zeldris why did it take you and Gelda so long to come to the Demon Clan territory?" Estarossa asked. 

Both Gelda and Zeldris froze up slightly. Gelda's face turning a bright red. That was a question I had asked myself before. I remember it was when Chandler and Meliodas first talked about Zeldris in front of me. "We were reconnecting" Zeldris answered, his cheeks gaining a dust of pink. Estarossa gave out an 'oh' while Gelda played was trying to hold back a smile. Reconnecting? Did they know each other before the marking and mating? "Lady Elizabeth, your turn" Estarossa then spoke with a chuckle. 

I didn't want to push my luck. I wasn't sure what anyone was going to say was the truth or not. I couldn't believe everything. "What was Meliodas like when he was younger?" I asked thinking of the first decoy question that came into my head. Zeldris leaned back on his chair giving off an 'mmm'. It was easy to see he was thinking. "Trouble-maker" Estarossa and Zeldris then answered at the same time. Gelda and I were both in shock with the sudden answer. Hawk nearly shouted a 'huh' in a confused tone.

"Meliodas was always causing trouble, mostly for father. Meliodas would've done anything to turn anyone on father. He would mostly aim at powerful nobles that support our father with money and ore. He would end up gathering us all in a group and talk nonstop about his plans for the future when he finally becomes king. He had so many ambitions but there is one that sticks out even today" Zeldris then started to explain, a smile growing on his face. Gelda looked at him in some shock while Estarossa listened. 

"He always would claim he would find his mate, his lover. That he would protect her and cherish her. Treat her as a Queen even if he didn't become the Demon King. To this day...that hasn't changed at all" Zeldris then added getting my eyes to light up. Meliodas had dreams like that as a child? I couldn't help but want to know even more. Gelda giggled stating it was 'cute' to see Zeldris looked up to Meliodas. It only made Zeldris blush slightly in embarrassment. It got both me and Gelda to laugh and giggle. 

"Meliodas was always training or studying as well. He always would make sure to be the best in everything that was thrown at him. He would take things like his studying so seriously" Estarossa chuckled at the memory. Meliodas...studying? I wasn't sure if I was able to imagine him doing that. Gelda nodded slightly, looking in some shock. Zeldris was calming down his embarrassment getting Gelda to smile at him. "Little brother's turn" Estarossa then spoke getting Zeldris to sigh. 

"Elizabeth have you heard of a place called Danafor?" Zeldris then asked shocking Gelda. I started thinking. The name...Danafor...I'v heard that name before somewhere...that was when it hit me. It was a kingdom that was destroyed by some disasters. The only survivors were..."Yes, I have. My mother's side of the family was the only survivors" I answered getting both Demon Princes in front of me to look in shock. Gelda raised an eyebrow in confusion. Hawk asked what the place was. I turned my head looking at him.

"Danafor was a once a kingdom in the Human Clan. It was very big and had a huge army, the biggest recorded in Human Clan history. During the war a huge disaster came over the Kingdom, leaving nothing but a giant crater in the ground. The only survivors were two newborn girls with the body of what seemed to be their mother and an older sister in her teens. The older sister was a holy knight of the kingdom. According to my father's notes when he wrote diaries I look more like the holy knight than anyone else in the whole family" I then answered.

Hawk looked at me in shock. Gelda did as well. Zeldris and Estarossa had looked at each other, both slightly pale before looking at me once more. "I take it, it's my turn?" Gelda then asked getting me to look at her with a smile. Estarossa's eyes didn't leave me. Zeldris seemed to be thinking while looking toward me and Gelda. "Correct" Estarossa only answered getting the vampire to start thinking. Gelda gave out an 'hmm' while in thought. Why did Estarossa and Zeldris ask about Danafor?

I haven't heard that name since my father made it forbidden throughout the whole Human, Fairy and Giant Clans. "What is the real reason you didn't want to compete for the crown, Estarossa?" Gelda asked getting Zeldris to raised an eyebrow. That was a question that it seemed many people were wondering about. Estarossa sighed shaking his head, closing his eyes. "Because the woman I fell in love with is dead. I am unsure if her soul was pure enough to reincarnate. I don't want to be with anyone else but her so I refused to go make a 'mate' with someone else" Estarossa answered.

You were able to hear the sadness and truth coming off his voice. Gelda and I were in shock while Zeldris closed his eyes, moving his head to face away from his older brother. By his reaction...it was easy to see Estarossa was telling the truth. I couldn't help but feel sorry for Estarossa. Gelda wasn't sure what to even reply with. Estarossa soon opened his eyes, staring at me. "My turn. Lady Elizabeth if we had to fight Liones would you try and stop us from harming the family you had there?" Estarossa then asked.

Gelda and Zeldris snapped at him but I raised my hand getting them to stop. A smile on my face, getting the two confused. "I have no connection to anyone from the Human Clan's royal family. In fact, I have a great hate for them so I would ask, that you would make it hurt" I answered in my quiet and sweet tone shocking everyone in the room.
