~Elizabeth's Pov~ 

After reading through the next book, talking to Derieri and Hawk...time soon went by. It was already time for dinner. Estarossa had left the room as Derieri offered to carry the book to my room but I shook my head. I thanked her for the offer. I sat up to feel a lot more tired than I normally was. I placed a hand on my head getting Hawk to say my name worried. Derieri followed after him. "I'm fine. Just tired" I answered while Derieri asked if I wanted dinner in my room. I wanted to agree to the offer.

I took a deep breath, not sure what to do. Meliodas. Where were you? Why weren't you here? Hawk spoke my name worried again as I nearly fell straight to the floor. Derieri moved faster than my eyes could keep up, catching me before I could. "Hey, are you alright?" Derieri asked worried while my breath was started to become deeper and longer. I felt light headed even. Hawk was asking question after question, getting Derieri to snap at him to be quiet. "Elizabeth what's wrong? Do you need to go lay down? Do you need to see Kaida?" Derieri asked worriedly. 

I was taking longer breaths while trying to stay awake. Derieri muttered 'crap' under her breath. "YO CHANDLER GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE!" Derieri soon shouted loud as she could before getting me to sit back down. Derieri being forced to help me stay seated, my body nearly falling to the floor without help. Hawk was getting more and more worried by the second while I was unable to answer. I was confused about what was going on. It wasn't long until I heard the old demon asking questions in a worried tone behind us. 

Derieri was informing him she had no idea what was going on but that was when my eyes closed without me even telling them too. The last thing I heard was Hawk shouting my name worried. I wasn't sure what was going on. I was scared even. I had no clue what was wrong. I was scared and worried about the baby more than anything. My own mind racing and worrying. When I had woken up, I was in the infirmary. In the bed that Meliodas placed me in before. "Lady Elizabeth" I heard Kaida speak in a relieved tone. 

I turned my head seeing her standing next to me, a smile on her face. "You were out for that whole night and the whole of yesterday day" Kaida informed me. I looked at her in shock but she informed me that the baby was fine before I could ask or say a word. I let out a sigh of relief. "It seems Meliodas being away has affected your health. You see the baby needs to be near blood relation of the demon half. This helps the baby grow" Kaida soon informed me. I was in shock and worry when I heard her words. 

"So to help out we have Prince Estarossa and Prince Zeldris in the room. Since they are Prince Meliodas' brothers. They are the closest blood relation we could get and it seems you may be forced to spend time with them until Prince Meliodas' return" Kaida then informed me, her voice sounding very worried. I slowly sat up, placing a hand on my stomach. I...I was scared. Without Meliodas here...I saw Kaida's face go slightly pale. "I-I'm sure Prince Meliodas will return soon Lady Elizabeth. No need to worry" she spoke fast. 

I couldn't believe her. I just couldn't. Kaida soon sweat-dropped trying to think fast. "Elizabeth!" Hawk nearly shouted barging through the curtains. I looked at him in some shock, he was crying. He soon informed me of how worried he was. He was informing me that I scared the life out of him. I couldn't help but smile at him, the worrying from before slowly started to leave me. Kaida was in some shock but looked thankful. "Someone get this pig whatever he wants" Kaida soon whispered. 

"I'm sorry to worry you so much" I spoke in return hearing Hawk cry out his worries about me and the baby. He was right next to the bed talking faster and faster by the second. Kaida looked slightly confused but faked a cough getting him to shut up. "As your doctor and without Meliodas around, I need to ensure you and that baby are safe. Prince Zeldris and Prince Estarossa will be escorting and guarding you 24/7 starting now until Prince Meliodas' return" Kaida then nearly shouted getting me to freeze slightly.

I didn't mind Zeldris much but Estarossa? I still wasn't very easy around him. "The two Princes are to be basically your slaves until Prince Meliodas returns. As much as I know Meliodas will kill me for this...I have no choice" Kaida then spoke. It was then I noticed I was in a white silk nightgown. I was out for a while. I still didn't fully understand what was going on or what was really happening to me. Hawk was looked worried. "I'll get some clothes for you, it's around nine in the morning right now" Kaida informed me before leaving, closing the curtains behind me. 

"Are you okay now Elizabeth?" Hawk soon asked me. I moved to have my legs off the side of the bed. I smiled at Hawk nodding. He let out a sigh of relief, some tears going down his face. "Don't worry me like that again!" Hawk then nearly shouted at me. I smiled even more repeating that I was sorry for worrying him. I still didn't understand what really was going on. It wasn't long until Kaida returned placing some clothes next to me. "At this rate, you're going to need to start wearing more baggy dresses and tops. So please watch your body size and what you wear from now on" Kaida then informed me. 

I nodded slightly. "Umm...Kaida..." I spoke quietly getting her to reply with 'yes' in a confused and slightly scared tone. A hand ended up going onto my stomach. I needed to know, what really happened. I needed to know if this could harm them...harm my child. "Could you explain what happened to me in more detail please?" I soon asked shocking the doctor. She soon went slightly pale but sighed. She walked over to stand next to me. I had to know, I had to make sure it wouldn't happen again...to protect it...to protect my child.

"As you know the child is already very powerful but for that power to stay in check and let the child grow and stay healthy...it needs to be near the power of its demonic side. This means anyone blood-related to the demonic side or the parent. We didn't think it would affect you right away but with Prince Meliodas missing the power started to go uncheck causing you to be weak since the child was drawing off your own power and energy" Kaida soon started to explained. I listened to every word she said. Making sure I remembered. 

Making sure every word would be carved into my mind. "Because the Crowned Prince is missing we need that child to draw off the power of blood-relation to keep its own power in check. That is why you need to be around both Prince Estarossa and Prince Zeldris nearly everyday until Prince Meliodas returns. This way the child grows healthy and with great demonic power" Kaida then finished explaining. I was in shock but I knew...I knew that I had no choice. I had to protect it. I had to protect my child at any cost.

I didn't like being near Estarossa but now...I had no choice until Meliodas comes back.
