~Elizabeth's Pov~ 

Derieri and I had ended up staying up the whole night in the greenhouse. Just talking. It was great. It was the first time I had ever talked to someone other than Meliodas for so long. Though we were kicked out by the gardeners when it hit around eight in the morning. Derieri and I were walking to the dining room. Derieri had fear and worry in her eyes when we noticed Meliodas hadn't come looking for me yet. Derieri then declared she wasn't going to leave my side until he returned to it. 

Once we got into the dining room we saw Zeldris, Gelda, Estarossa and Chandler watching the two of us. All looked in utter shock. "This normal?" Derieri soon asked me in a whisper getting me to laugh slightly. I did never really see anyone else in this room. Gelda looked at Zeldris than at me, looking even more confused than the others. "Where is Crowned Prince Meliodas?" Gelda soon asked confusing me. Derieri then rubbed the back of her neck. I heard Hawk soon coming into the room seeing me alright. 

He let out a sigh of relief. "I haven't seen Meliodas since yesterday. Derieri stated it was strange he didn't come after us when we were out just the two of us last night without his permission" I answered in my quiet tone making all three members of my soon to be in-laws stand up fast. Their chairs falling backwards onto the floor. Chandler himself looked as if he was about pass out from shock and confusion. I stood there even more confused. "I haven't seen Meliodas since he left you asleep in your room either. Someone knocked on the door and he went to go talk to em" Hawk then informed us. 

Chandler soon was in front of Hawk asking for information on this 'someone'. I stood there confused getting slightly worried. Derieri was the first to react to me. "You better sit down and eat. When Meliodas ain't around it's your job to look after and protect the kid remember? Kid needs you to eat and stay calm" Derieri then spoke in her normal outspoken tone. I only nodded in agreement while Hawk was speaking to Chandler in pure fear. Derieri nearly forced me to walk over to the table and sit down. 

She soon looked at Zeldris and Gelda giving them some type of look. They somehow understood what she was going on about. "Yes I'm sure Prince Meliodas will return soon" Gelda then spoke in a forced happy tone. Zeldris picked up his and Gelda's chairs. The two soon sat down while Zeldris was glaring at Estarossa. "Feels weird after hearing your talk normal for a whole night and now your quiet again" Derieri soon spoke to me getting me to rub the back of my neck. I couldn't really help it.

I had gotten used to being around Derieri. I even got to know her. Gelda seemed to be okay and Zeldris was someone I wanted to know more, mostly about his past to Meliodas. Estarossa...I still...felt...off, I didn't like him very much at all. "I see the two of you a close" Gelda spoke, starting off a conversation that normally started off with Estarossa and Meliodas. Though their conversations were much more mean and harsh. "Yep, we're friends" Derieri answered shocking the two demon princes.

"Derieri...made a friend..." Zeldris spoke raising an eyebrow. Derieri soon glared at the youngest prince, moving to stand right next to me. She ended up crossing her arms looking quite protective herself. "Got a problem with that?" Derieri asked harshly getting me to smile at her. She was unique in her own strange way. That was when the sickness started to get worse. I placed a hand on my stomach while covering my mouth. Moving my arms fast as I could. "Lady Elizabeth?" Gelda asked worried, Chandler showing up to my other side. 

"Morning sickness acting up again Elizabeth?" Hawk asked worriedly getting Estarossa and Zeldris to both looks at me. Both looking confused, looking as if they were trying to solve some type of puzzle. Derieri was soon asking if I was alright, sounding worried herself. "S-should pass...i-in a second" I answered quietly. Chandler sweatdropped while Estarossa asked if Kaida was needed. I was able to hear Hawk's hoofs tap along the wooden floor, coming closer to me. I was taking long deep breaths. 

"Yeah, do we need Kaida?" Derieri soon asked Chandler who glared at her for a second. Chandler soon asked if I wanted to return to my room. I shook my head slowly. "I can't keep running back into there when I feel unwell" I answered in a quiet mumble. Estarossa and Zeldris then asked 'keep running' in confusion. I wanted to question it but I really didn't want to throw up either. I really didn't feel very well at all. Meliodas was able to help me calm this down. It felt weird not having him around. 

"Isn't Lady Elizabeth only nine days along today? How is she having this sign now? She should be showing week two or three signs" Zeldris then asked. They didn't know? Why didn't they know? I thought Gelda asked because they knew. Chandler didn't answer him. Wasn't they allowed to know? Was there a reason they weren't allowed? Hawk gave out a confused 'eh'. "Meliodas said she's around week five last night" Hawk spoke getting the brothers to freeze in place, both going pale. Gelda herself even was frozen from shock. 

Chandler looked annoyed while Derieri even looked at me in some shock. "I was guessing week four but five? Week five in NINE days?" Derieri asked confused and concerned. Chandler soon ordered Derieri and Hawk to both shut up. I moved my hand from my mouth, my breath still long and slightly jagged. "It's passing. I'll be alright" I spoke looking at Chandler, being able to notice he was filling in for Meliodas' protective trait. It got me wondering. Where was Meliodas? Why is everyone so shocked by this?

Why weren't they allowed to know? I had many questions. I was confused. Yet that was normal now. I didn't like that part very much. "I see" Chandler spoke letting out a small sigh of relief. Hawk was asking why Estarossa and Zeldris were looking at me like they were. I made me look up to see both of them were leaning toward me. Both looking in shock and confusion but yet...they looked a lot more interested in figuring out the so-called 'puzzle' they were looking at before...me.

"I'm going to see if I can find the Young Master. Lady Elizabeth please don't leave Derieri's side" Chandler spoke sounding calm but his eyes showed a lot of worrying. I only nodded before he zoomed out of the room. Derieri looked slightly pale and in some fear. Hawk walked over asking me if was really 'alright' now. I smiled at him. I nodded, saying sorry for worrying him. "Your pregnancy...when did it speed up even more than normal?" Zeldris soon asked stilling standing while Estarossa slowly sat back down.

"So older brother didn't even tell you Zeldris?" Estarossa asked in a shocked whisper. I sat there confused. I wasn't sure how to answer or if I was allowed to answer. Gelda soon got off her chair walking over, sitting in the seat next to me. "Don't answer a word they ask. They shouldn't ask a worried pregnant woman anything they shouldn't know" Gelda then spoke with a smile on her face. Derieri raised an eyebrow, watching her carefully while giving glances to the princes every so often. 

"While Prince Meliodas isn't here, we should all try our best to help full in his role for you after all. What would you like to eat this morning?" Gelda asked her smile growing. Zeldris slowly sat down both princes keeping a close eye on me. Estarossa soon growing a small smirk. Zeldris was threatening his older brother not to try anything. "Should I be worried why Meliodas isn't here?" I soon asked quietly getting Gelda and Derieri to both look at me with worry. Both unsure on how to answer. 

"I'm sure whatever my big brother is doing he is fine. He's the strongest after all. Seems his first child is following after him in that factor" Estarossa soon answered for the two. Gelda and Derieri were soon glaring at him while Zeldris was watching Estarossa carefully. Zeldris was the first to ask. "Do you know where our older brother is? Estarossa?" Zeldris asked in a very harshly and loud tone. Gelda was looking at me every so often. She seemed to be protective of me in her own strange way. 

"Sadly not" Estarossa answered and for some reason...I believed him. His reaction to hearing he hasn't been by my side the whole night and allowed me out alone...he was just as shocked as everyone else, even more so. "Prince Estarossa is correct about Prince Meliodas being strong. I'm sure he is fine and is rushing his work to come back, I'm very sure he'll be back soon" Gelda then spoke up giving a glare to both princes before giving me her smile. Derieri only sweat-dropped, looking worried still. 

"You guys suck at this" Hawk pointed out making me laugh slightly. Soon all the demons in the room and the vampire were looking at him in a small glare. He looked slightly scared but was standing his ground. "Elizabeth's the type of person who worries less when she's explained things with the truth. You lot acting like is what works up her worrying" Hawk soon pointed out getting Derieri to agree with him in a sigh. Zeldris looked pale again while Gelda stated thinking. Estarossa gave out an 'oh'.

"I say, how about I guard you in my big brother's place...Lady Elizabeth?" Estarossa soon offered confusing Zeldris and Gelda. Both were glaring him down while I was a little scared. What was he planning? Derieri soon looked slightly scared herself moving to be more in front of me. "Like hell, I would let that" Derieri snapped upset getting Estarossa to only laugh at her. Would he use this to upset Meliodas again? Was he planning something? Gelda was soon agreeing with Derieri, stating how Estarossa has already scared me enough. 

"It's her choice Derieri" Estarossa soon reminded while I stayed in my seat quietly. Unsure if I had much of a choice. My hand on my stomach slightly tightened. I knew...I knew I had to see this child safe. No matter what.
