-Elizabeth's Pov- 

I moved my head, half of it ending up being snuggled into Meliodas' chest. I wasn't sure what to do or even think. I was worried for Meliodas. I was scared. The aura that this Estarossa gave out was unsettling, uncomfortable even. "You're not allowed to be here" Meliodas snapped harshly only getting Estarossa to give out a chuckle that was very similar to Meliodas'. My grip on Meliodas' arm got tighter. "I wanted to meet my soon to be sister-in-law. So many rumours going around back in the capital" Estarossa replied. 

He sounded like he was being amused as if he was looking down on Meliodas. Meliodas gave off an annoyed 'tisk' while his grip around me got tighter. "I would suggest leaving" Meliodas spoke harshly, pure bloodlust and hate in his voice that echoed around us. Some reason I couldn't help but not fear Meliodas. Some reason he didn't scare me, very unlike Estarossa. The younger brother only chuckled once more. "Now, now older brother, you really want to show that side of you in front of your mate?" Estarossa soon asked. 

His smirk only grew bigger. Soon Chandler showed up in front of the two of us. He was giving off a huge aura filled with passion, a passion for blood. The bloodlust coming off the demon was crazy. I had read in books and heard from knights that demons could hold such power but I had never felt this type of aura before. I felt aura from Lady Merlin, Miss Diane and many knights in the Human Clan. None of them was like this. "Prince Estarossa, you are to not show onto the mating grounds unless you have a mate yourself. Leave before I give out the punishment!" Chandler nearly shouted. 

Mating grounds? Chandlers word choice confused me more than anything. I knew it wasn't the time to be thinking about that type of thing. "Oh? I take it father hasn't told any of you yet" Estarossa spoke giving off a smug laugh. I felt Meliodas' grip around me feel even tighter. It wasn't hurting me but now my body was pulled straight into his. "I have been ordered to stand by here. The other clans have sent an army bursting through the borderline. They seem to be heading this way" Estarossa spoke, sounding bored out of his mind.

"Merlin" Meliodas muttered as I looked up to see him in thought. Lady Merlin? Why would she lead an attack? My father never cared about me. My sisters never cared either. There was no reason why she would be ordered to come here. "Why come here? Why not go to the guard outpost where you're meant to be?" Chandler asked harshly, his voice booming through the woods around us. I felt better knowing Chandler was standing being Estarossa and myself. I wasn't sure on why but I just had an off feeling.

I-I just felt as if I shouldn't get near him. "I haven't seen my older brother in such a long time. Can a brother not want to spend time with his family?" Estarossa soon asked for his reply/answer. Meliodas moved to stand up, pulling me to my feet with him. Meliodas kept me close to him. I turned my head, looking at him. He was looking forward, his eyes showing rage and hatred. "You know the laws!" Chandler nearly shouted as he lifted his walking stick into the air then slammed it down onto the ground. 

It was easy to hear Chandler's rage. "But yet I am not competing for the crown meaning those laws do not concern me" Estarossa replied, sounding as if he had an answer and reply for everything Chandler could throw at him. Meliodas soon jumped me by picking me up in a bridal hold. "Leaving already? Older brother" Estarossa soon spoke with a laugh. His laugh echoing around us. I hate it. I didn't like this at all. Meliodas only turned his head to me. I had a feeling he could see how I felt about all this.

He soon looked back toward his younger brother. Who weirdly did look older than him. "We're leaving. If father sent you to be a guard then go do your job but...if you dare go near Elizabeth again then I will kill you myself" Meliodas soon spoke harshly before turning around. He started to walk off as I could only hear Estarossa giving off a laugh. Chandler wasn't joining us in walking, I had a feeling he was staying behind to make sure Estarossa backed off. Meliodas soon gave out another 'tisk' like before as we soon had left the scene. 

"That bastard just had to ruin the mood" Meliodas mumbled before looking back at me. He soon reinsured me that his younger brother wouldn't follow. Estarossa had such an unsettling feeling. We soon made it back to the carriage that had dropped us off.  Meliodas placed me on my feet before helping me inside the carriage. I couldn't help but still have that feeling. The way that Estarossa had his aura, the way Chandler came in with his own aura. I admit Chandler's aura was incredible but Estarossa...

As the carriage started to head back to the manor, Meliodas placed a hand on my cheek. "There is no need to worry too much about this Elizabeth...I won't let him get close to you" Meliodas whispered making my cheeks burn up. His words, out of anything it was his words that were finally putting me at ease. Meliodas soon moved in, pulling me into a kiss. I couldn't help but kiss back. I couldn't help but enjoy the kiss.
