~A few months later~

I wake up like any other school day, only today felt...different. Like something good was going to happen, but at this moment in time it was anything but good.

I wake up a few minutes before my alarm and get my stuff together feeling energized, oddly enough. I go downstairs and eat a bowl of cereal before heading to the door, only for my shoulder to be grabbed and I'm tossed on the ground. "I've told you time and time again to stay away from those so called 'friends' of yours! They are faggots just like you and we don't need you falling for one of them!" My father yells. Something in my chest heats up and I growl. "YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW THEM! YOU JUST KNOW WE HANG OUT!" Yes they have both come out to me. Lui being bi and Jon being gay, but we never told anyone else!

He kicks me in the ribs and the heat in my chest grows. "One of the football players at school kindly told me that he overheard your conversation and decided to deliver the message! NOW YOU'RE AN EVEN BIGGER DISGRACE TO THIS FAMILY! I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW YOU COULD GET MUCH LOWER, YET HERE YOU ARE! AND IF YOU DONT STAY AWAY FROM THOSE KIDS I'LL MAKE SURE THEY PAY! I HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO MAKE THEIR LIVES MIS-"
The heat turns into a small fire and I kicks his legs out from underneath him, causing him to fall. I jump up and throw my bag to the side. "YOU WILL LEAVE THEM ALONE YOU PIECE OF WALKING SHIT!" I yell and throw a punch. It hits him square in the nose and I feel it break on impact. He screams and I feel a smile spread on my face, punching him over and over until I hear a high pitched scream from behind me.
I turn my head to look over my shoulder and see my mother in a night gown, her face one of horror. I get up and walk out the door, small bits of blood dripping off my hands. I notice the edge of my eyesight is ruby red and I blink, it then goes back to normal...should I tell the others? I will, but when we're alo- "MINI!!!" I hear two voices yell. I look up and see Lui and Jon running to me. "Hey guys what-" "Dude something weird happened! It happened to both of us!" My eyes widen and I stare. "S-Something weird just happened to me to..." now it's their turn to stare in confusion. "What was yours?" Jon asks.
I tell them about the heat I felt in my chest as my father started yelling at me and how it had erupted once he talked about hurting them. That I had beat the shit out of my father, and the ruby red in the edges of my vision. I showed them my hands, dried blood caked onto them.
"Yo, the same thing happened with me! Only my eyesight was emerald green!" "Woah, Lui that's cool! Mine was an electric blue!" Jon shouts out. We all look at each other and realise something. "Those were very specific colors we used. We could have just said red or blue, but we gave them a specific theme." I say and look at them. They look at each other and back.
"Yeah that is weird...anyway are either of you getting the feeling we shouldn't go to school OR back home?" Lui asks and I think for a second. Now that I'm not distracted I do have a tingling feeling in the bottom of my stomach that I shouldn't do either of those.
"Yeah I do have that feeling, but our parents-" I stop and my eyes narrow. Suddenly Lui spoke up and I could've sworn I saw his eyes flash green for a second. "Fuck our parents! They don't care about us and they made it clear to all of us." Lui growls and I nod stiffly. "Yeah, fuck them. Lets go to the park?" I ask. They nod. "Even if we were to go to school we all forgot our backpacks." I say and they nod again. "C'mon guys lets go!" Jon yells and runs in front of us. "Hey no fair!" Lui yells in his child-like voice and runs behind Jon. I laugh and run after them.
Once we make it to the park we all find the farthest and biggest tree from the entrance. We sit and chill for the first few minutes, not knowing what to do or say...until some unexpected guests arive. Three to be exact.

"Hey its the two freaks and their pet nerd! Got our homework for us?" Nathan asks. The lead bully, football player, and one of the major populars of the school. "Never expected the nerd to skip school! NOW! The homework?" he asks holding out his hand. I growl and smack his hand away standing up. My anger getting ahold of me again and the heat returning. "Fuck off Nathan we dont care about you or the fucking homework so fuck off!" I yell and let out a huff of breath.
Nathan stands shocked for a second before chuckling. "Oh-ho-ho! You don't seem to get it nerd! We-" Suddenly my anger flares much harder than it did this morning and I punch him in the stomach. He falls and coughs up blood. "I SAID FUCK OFF!" I yell and Jon and Lui stand and we walk off towards the forest to be alone.
"Y-you FUCKER! GET BACK HERE!" We didn't need to turn around to know to run, so we did. Right into the forest.
