02. Music , Screaming girls and Him.

- Shelby's P.O.V-

I got home from work and was instantly pushed into my bedroom by Grace

''Grace what the fuck?'' i yelled

''COME ON WE'RE GOING TO BE LATE!!'' she groaned , oh great it was that concert tonight. 

''Okay... chill out and let me get ready'' i said , earning a eye roll from Grace , she walked out and closed the door. I stripped out of my work clothes and put on some black skinny jeans and white nirvana top. I left my hair as it was but went over it with the straighteners. I tied a black bandana around my hair and slipped on my doc martens. I re-applied some make up on to my face and voila... done. Emily was wearing high wasted black shorts with a grey crop top , black converse and a black beanie. (Outfits in external link).

''Ready,'' i said and was dragged out of the door , managing to pick up my bag before we headed out.

After waiting hour lining up in the cold with hundreds of screaming fan girls we managed to finally get in. Grace managed to barge through people and pull me to the front with her so we had perfect view. I'm not going to lie and say they were crap and ugly because boy... were they good and hot as fuck. By the end of the night i was dancing and i picked up most of the lyrics because that's all Grace plays around the house.

''See i told you they were good!'' Grace yelled over the music ,

''I know!!'' I yelled back

''Plus the drummer totally has a thing for you , he hasn't stopped looking at you since we got here''.

''What?.'' i stopped dancing and looked at Grace , she winked and laughed.

''You heard me.'' she said , it was true i did hear her. I couldn't even see the drummer because he was in the far back,

''I can't even see him!'' i laughed along side Grace

''Move back and take a look.'' she said , i nodded and moved back a little. My eyes locked with the familiar Hazel ones i was frozen in place... what was he doing here? It can't be him... how? what? when?! I swallowed hard and focused my gaze on Grace who mouthed a 'He's hot i know!' , i shook my head and mouthed back ' I'll meet you outside'' and i backed away pushing through the crowds. I couldn't be here not with him here... it was him?! wasn't it.

''OKAY EVERYONE WE HAVE ASHTON HERE WHO WANTS TO TAKE A MOMENT'' one of them yelled. It was him!! It was Ashton!! I have to go ... i have to go now! But why am i not moving? Maybe i want to hear his voice , maybe i want to know what he has to stay. I made my way to the back of them room and waited.

''Hi guys , this next song is one thats very special too me.-'' he took a deep breathe before continuing

''For those who didn't know my best friend committed suicide five years ago... today actually 5 years ago today...'' he sighs , YOUcan't be here YOU can't be listening to this!. My mind screamed but i couldn't move.

''She was a very special person to me and without her i don't think i would of been here today. As much as i miss her i know she would of wanted me to go on with my life and so when i met these boys i took up there offer because i promised She-...Shelby , thats her name that i would leave our old town and make it big. Without you guys i wouldn't of been able to keep that promie so thank you.'' he took a pause. Oh Ashton. I wanted to go give him a hug tell him i'm okay explain everything to him but i can't i've put him through enough already.

'' I'd like to dedic-'' Ashton couldn't carry on and he broke down and buried his face in his hands. Calum... i think thats his name walked over to him and put his arm around him as the lead singer... i think Luke spoke up.

''Um... As Ashton was trying to say. We'd like to dedicate this song to Shelby , we wish we got to meet you  but everything happens for a reason... This ones called Wherever you are'' he spoke. I didn't realize i was crying until Emily ran up to me and threw her arms around me.

''You okay ? did that story get you all emotional'' she giggled , i wiped my eyes and shook my head

''Well suck it up!! We have to go to the meet and greet!! COME ON!!'' she squealed , Grace had no idea what was going on she was too exited with the fact of meeting them i couldn't go?. I stood still and Grace ran back grabbing my arm and pulling me down a hallway. She handed two tickets to the security guard and we waited in line.

''I cant do this...'' i mumbled , we were next in lie and had been waiting here for a good 45 minutes

''What are you on about?'' Grace giggled.

'' Grace-''

''SEND THE NEXT ONE IN'' a women called , Grace squealed

''Wait a minute'' i said to the man ,

''Wh-.''

''Grace listen to me! I can't go in there...''

''Soph why are you being so difficult come on!'' she groaned

''It's me!!'' i mumbled

''What?''

''It's me!! I was that Shelby girl... he'-''

''He's Ashton...'' she gasped

''I'm so sorry i should of thought... i should of-'' 

''Its fine , i'll wait outside'' i sighed , i tried to turn around but the security guard shook his head

''You have to go in that way , theres no other exit'' he mumbled , i swallowed hard unable to find any words to speak. Grace took my hand in hers and lead me in the room with her. I looked down at the floor as she ran into the room jumping into the guys arms who were laughing.

''Hi whats your name?'' a voice spoke making my head snap up ,

''Um... Um... it's Sophie' i gave a fake smile

''I'm Luke... not a big fan i see?'' he chuckled

''Oh you have great music , i just don't really have time to be obsessed'' i laughed nervously , i looked over Luke's shoulder and Ashton was staring right at me. I looked down at my feet and played with my fingers.

''You don't have to be nervous we are just ordinary guys... living the dream'' he laughed , i laughed with him and he gave me a smile. Emily walked over and squealed Luke's name and jumping into his arms , he laughed at her and gave her a hug back.

''Hello... I'm Michael and Ashton clearly thinks your drop dead gorgeous because he has not stopped staring at you'' he laughed , i smiled a little.

''Sorry didn't want to make you feel uncomfortable'' he chuckled , i shook my head and gave him a small smile.

''This one's not much of a hugger is she...i'm Calum by the way'' 

''Oh no ... i'' i blushed looking away

''Ashton stop standing there staring you creep!'' Michael yelled , my mouth became dry as he approached us with a small smile.

''Hi i'm Ashton...'' he smiled , the other boys walked away and i looked down at my feet back up to his eyes.

''I'm ... Sophie.'' i said

''Sorry for staring at you... i'm not normally a creep'' he laughed , i let out a genuine smile because i loved it when he laughed.

''That's fine'' 

''You just remind me of someone... someone who's gone.'' he sighed

''I have one of those faces you know i look like alot of people'' i laughed nervously

''I guess so , but you even have the same eyes and smile... i just miss her.''

''Who? That Shelby girl?'' i asked

''Yeah... i could of stopped her'' he said

''I'm sure you couldn't of done anything Ash ,''

''How do you know that?'' he looked up at me with sad eyes

''Because i'm sure she loved you and wouldn't want you to live with guilt for the rest of your life''

''Yeah i guess your right... thanks'' he said

''That's okay,''

''OKAY PICTURE TIME!!'' Calum yelled , I stood next to Luke and Ashton , Grace stood next to Michael and Calum. We did a normal picture then we did a few silly ones , one involved me on Lukes back , Grace on Calums and Michael on Ashtons.

''LETS DO A HUMAN PYRMID!!'' Calum screamed , i widened my eyes. 

We said our goodbyes i gave each boy a hug the one with me and Ashton lasting a little longer , i took in his scent and tried to keep the tears in. Grace coughed and we broke away from the hug i blushed and looked away. Grace ended up somehow getting Calum's number... don't ask how. I was kind of glad to get out of the room and out of the building.

''Are you okay? I'm so proud of you!'' Grace said pulling me into a hug , i nodded wiping under my eyes.

''I need a drink.'' i laughed pointing to the bar across the road , Grace laughed and hooked her arm with mine walking us over to the bar.

What a dramatic day this has been.

- Ashton's P.O.V-

It was during lost boy i had noticed Sophia standing in the crowd , her eyes... her facial features , her smile everything looked like her... everything looked like Shelby. I was probably being stupid but i swear it was her... i know it isn't possible but i couldn't keep my eyes off of her. After the show i got to meet her in person and the meet and greet is it possible that she even has the same laugh and nervous gestures... for example when shes uncomfortable Shelby would look down at her feet and play with her hands and thats what i saw that Sophia doing. Maybe its a sign... maybe Shelby is telling me to move on with someone like her. I don't know but maybe ... i hope i can see Sophia again.

I CAN TELL THE FUTURE!!! i dreamed that Michael's hair was dark purple i tweeted it then a hour later Michael posted a selfie with dark purple hair!! CALL ME RAVEN BAXTER haha
