Mason and Ava

Edmund's POV

Mason, Lucy, and I were passing Mr. Sweet's office as we left the school when we heard a loud BANG come from inside. Every student nearby stopped and stared as Mr. Sweet ran out of the room covered in blue paint.

"Who did this?!" he demanded.

A girl with curly, brown hair casually walked up as if she was oblivious to what was going on. The second she saw Mr. Sweet, however, she burst out laughing.

"Oh my gosh, it actually worked!" she exclaimed once her fit of laughter had subsided.

"So you did this?" Mr. Sweet asked angrily, gesturing towards his paint-covered self. The girl nodded in reply.

"Ava!" Mason scolded, glaring at her.

"You know this girl?" Mr. Sweet whipped his head toward Mason.

"Unfortunately, Mr. Sweet, this is my twin sister, Ava King. I'm really sorry about her," Mason explained.

"Well," Mr. Sweet scoffed, turning back to Ava, "Young lady, I'll let you off with a warning this time, but don't expect much mercy the next. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to see if I can get the paint off my face!" Mr. Sweet stormed off, muttering, "I feel as if I have another Jerome Clarke on my hands."

The students slowly began heading for the exit once more, and Ava made her way over to us.

"Hey, Mason," she smiled as she slung her arm over her brother's shoulders.

Mason removed her arm. "Really, Ava?" he started, "It's only the first day and you've already gotten into trouble! How many times do you expect us to move to a different school?!"

"Whoa, calm down, bro. I can tell this guy's dealt with troublemakers before. He can handle it, and he's definitely not kicking me out anytime soon. Just relax."

"In the meantime," Lucy butted in, "Edmund and I are going to go visit our brother and sister; they're going to the college here."

"Seriously?" Mason questioned, "Our sister's going to college here, too! What house are your siblings staying in?"

"Anubis House," I replied.

"So is our sister! Why don't we all go there together?" Ava suggested.

"Sounds fun. I bet I can beat you all there!" Lucy laughed and took off running in the direction of Anubis House.

Nina's POV

Violet, Susan and I were helping Trudy get ready for dinner. Violet was washing the dishes, I was drying them, and Susan was setting the table. Suddenly, we heard the front door slam, and Eddie trudged into the living room and flopped down onto the couch, looking annoyed and upset. The three of us looked at each other as if having some sort of silent conversation before dropping what we were doing and seeing if Eddie was alright.

"Are you okay, Eddie?" I inquired. He shook his head, staring at the ceiling.

"You and Patricia didn't have a fight, did you?" Susan asked.

"No," Eddie muttered as he ran his fingers through his hair, "I'm just annoyed. Some high school freshman decided to cover my dad in blue paint at the end of the school day."

Violet groaned in frustration. "It was Ava, wasn't it?"

"My dad didn't say her last name, but yeah. How'd you know?" Eddie questioned.

"Ava's my younger sister. She's well known for getting into trouble," she answered.

There was a loud clap of thunder, and we all noticed that it was pouring down rain, and probably had been for awhile.

"It sounds pretty nasty out there," Peter stated as he entered the room.

Just then, we heard someone banging on the door. "Would anyone mind giving refuge to some soaking wet high school students?"

"Is it just me, or does that voice sound familiar to anyone else?" Susan queried.

As if some kind of realization dawned on them, Peter and Susan looked at each other like they had just solved a great mystery. "Ed!" they shouted in unison.

Peter rushed to the door with Susan close behind.

Peter's POV

I opened the door and came face-to-face with Edmund, followed by Lucy and two others, all of which were soaking wet. Susan and I stepped aside from the doorway to let them in.

"Mason? Ava?" Violet had a confused look on her face as she got up from the couch and approached the two that were with Lucy and Ed.

"Violet! Hey!" the boy, who I assumed was Mason, exclaimed.

"I told you guys this was the right house," Ava scoffed.

Violet sighed, then turned to Nina, Eddie, Susan, and I. "Guys, this is my younger brother, Mason, and his twin sister, Ava."

"I'm Lucy," Lucy introduced herself, "I'm their younger sister," she added, gesturing to Susan, Edmund, and I.

"And I'm Edmund; I'm their younger brother-" here he nodded towards Susan and I "-and I'm Lucy's older brother."

"It's nice to meet you guys," Nina smiled, "Why don't we get you some towels so you can dry off? Eddie, do you mind helping me?"

Eddie nodded. "Sure."

As soon as they had left, Susan spoke up. "Okay, there's no simple way to say this, but Violet and I have something to talk to you about."

"Wait," Violet began, looking dumbfounded, "Did you want to tell them too?" she asked, pointing at Mason and Ava.

"Pointing's not nice," Ava whined.

"Pointing's not nice," Mason mocked, "Give it a break, Ava. You're so childish."

"Yes," Susan said, answering Violet's question, "But I think we better do this in our room. Eddie and Nina can hang out down here."

"Okay. I'm just glad everybody else is out," Violet breathed a sigh of relief.

Once Eddie and Nina returned with the towels, Violet explained that we were going upstairs for awhile. I was just curious as to what those two had up their sleeves that was so important....

Hello! How is everybody? I hope you like my two new OC's. They weren't in my original plans for the story, but inspiration struck and I felt a dire need to give Violet younger twin siblings! (Also, the picture in media is of Violet, played by Kelsey Chow.)
