Ch.9| The Truth Is Revealed
Allison's View
"Brother, what does the note say?" Alphonse asked.
I nodded. "It must be pretty important if Marcoh came running all the way back to us. Open it, Ed." I said.
Ed unfolded the paper, "National Central Library, First Branch."
"I get it, it's like hiding a tree in a forest. Finding one book in that giant library will be a difficult job indeed." Major stated.
Ed smirked as he looked out the window. "Finally, another clue about the stone!" He said.
I grabbed the paper out his hand, a smile on my lips, I was beyond happy. Marcoh had actually helped up us, Ed your right. We have another clue for finding both your bodies and my own.

"Hey, Ed, Al." I asked them while looking ahead at the house we were heading to.
"Yeah Rose?" Ed said, raising an eyebrow at me.
"That house we're heading to just up ahead. Is that your mechanics house by any chance?" I asked.
It was a medium sized house. S sign next to it said the Rockbell's? I've never heard of any name like that before, but it sure did sound familiar.
"Yup, that's it. Now that you mention it... Alphonse, can we go back? Ed asked.
"No, brother. Both you and Rose need to your auto mail repaired." Alphonse said, looking at me as he emphasized auto mail.
Biting my lip I turned away ashamed. My eyes scanned out our surroundings. How would I explain this-- that I had auto mail not just on my arm, but on both my legs too! Major glanced at me. He knew my about my problem all too well. When he figured it out he was left with no words. I was only 11 and I had auto mail for my whole body. Anyone who would have figured it out would react the same way. It's not like you see a child with hardly any limbs everyday.
The closer we got to the house, the more I noticed how familiar it looked. For some reason I feel like I had seen this house before, I know it, but...where? An old lady was sitting down smoking out of a pipe. She released the smoke stomach her mouth, staring at Ed and Al with wide eyes. A dog with auto mail came running at me, barking like I was a threat. Quickly, the old lady ran to the door and opened it.
"Winry! Winry! Our best customer's here!" She shouted through the door, then came running down to us.
The name Winry rung a bell. I furrowed my eyebrows and started to think about it. Winry... who is she? An acquaintance from the past? A friend? I clenched my teeth. Why couldn't I remember anything?! I want my memories back. For all I know, I could have some actual family out there in the world, sisters, brothers, something.
"Are you listening?" Ed said, bringing me out my thoughts.
I nodded and faced the old lady, "It's nice to meet you, My name is Allison, but you can call me Rose." I greeted myself with a friendly smile.
The ladies eyes widened in shock and she glanced at Ed. Ed shook his head but glanced at me nonetheless with deadly eyes. Gulping, I turned away knowing that I needed to explain everything to Ed and all. The old lady sighs as she backed away.
"I know I haven't seen you for awhile, Ed. But you've gone and grown smaller!" She stated.
I snickered. He was short and she knew it very well. I like this lady already.
Ed growled, "Granny, you got it wrong. I mean, look at her! She's even shorter than me!" Ed yelled, pointing at me.
I whacked Ed upside the head. "Don't add me into your little feud with your granny! I may be short, but that's perfectly fine for a girl. You're a boy that's short for his age! That's worse, Fullmetal!" I shouted.
"You little--! Argh!" Ed shouted as a wrench hit him square in the face.
Jumping in shock, I looked up at the blonde girl who threw it.
"Edward, I thought I told you to call first when you're heading back here for maintenance!" She shouted.
"Winry! Are you trying to kill me?!" Ed screamed, glaring at her.
So she was Winry... She definitely looks very familiar, and I could say the same with the old lady.
Winry laughed, "Welcome back"

"Oh no!"
"Yeah, sorry. It's a little smashed up." Ed said, sipping at his drink.
Winry held Ed's auto mail arm, which was in pieces, and many pieces at that. "A little smashed up, a little? Ed, did you see what you've done to my beautiful creation? I slaved over this!" Winry shouted.
"It's basically the same, it's just in smaller pieces." Ed shrugged.
Winry punched Ed in the face then turned to Al. I sweat dropped and helped Ed sit back up.
"You a little smashed up to, Al?" Winry asked, venom laced in her voice. "What kind of trouble have you two been getting yourselves into?" Winry says, kicking at Al's armor.
I gulped, holding my cup of milk the old woman gave me. I was in between this whole trouble. Who knew if she would attack me next.
"You idiots! All you ever do is worry me!" Winry shouted, finally taking notice of me. "Oh, uh, who are you?"
I stood up, sticking my left hand out for her. "I'm Lt. Allsion, but you can call me Rose. I've been traveling along with Ed and Al for awhile now." I said.
She eyed my hand, and then shook my hand hesitantly, "Oh... It's nice to meet you Rose. Would you by any chance, have any auto mail on your body?" She asked.
My eyes widened, "How did you know?" I asked quietly.
She smiles, "I'm not an expert in auto mechanics for no reason. So, tell me. Which part of your body has auto mail?" She demanded getting serious.
I rolled up my military uniforms sleeve, showing her my arm that was destroyed. Scar destroyed it from the inside. I couldn't even move it an inch. My auto mail arm was completely useless.
"The damage on yours looks a lot like Ed's. They're both destroyed from the inside. I can fix it for you. Don't worry about that, but it also needs some adjusting. This kinda looks like some of my old auto mail..." She muttered, tapping the metal. "Who was your mechanic?"
"I don't know. I can't really remember much... Sorry." I muttered.
She shook her head, "It's fine... This is just going to take some time, fixing all of you. Three all-nighters at most." She said.
"I'm sorry for all the trouble." Ed apologized, walking around in his new replacement leg.
"Well, you want to get to central as soon as possible, right? Then I'll work my butt off for you, but you better believe your going to pay a fortune in rush order fees." Winry stated, smiling at Ed.
Ed grinned and walked out, "I need to go do some thing." He said, speeding out the door.
Well, isn't he in a rush. Winry walked over to me and pulled down my military pants, I blushed and tried to pull them back up. She swatted my hands away as she examined my auto mail legs. I cursed. She found out so easily. But wow am I lucky I wore some shorts under my uniform today.
"I knew it." Winry stated, poking at my legs.
"How'd you figure it out so quickly?" I asked.
She sighed and threw me a smile. "Like I said, I'm not a expert mechanic for no reason. Ether way I could tell easily. When you walked in, your legs clanked against the floor, a sign that your legs weren't normal. It's easy to tell when you make auto mail yourself and apply it on others." Winry said. "Judging by your reaction, have you even told Ed or Al yet?"
I shook my head, "Not yet, I don't think it's the right time. Actually, there might never be the right time." I said.
The old lady who's name I figured out to be Pinako, hit me upside the head. I whined and held my head, soothing the numbing pain away.
"You're going to have to tell them soon, Rose. If you don't they'll figure out anyways. Those boys are persistent when it comes to getting something they want." Pinako said.
"You're...you're right. I'll tell Ed and all later on today, I swear." I muttered, crossing my heart.
Winry and Pinako smiled, "Good."
Maybe I should go and talk to Ed then. It might be better telling him when were alone. But where would he be?
"Ed's at his mother's grave." Pinako said, "Go on. I'll have supper dome by the time you both get back." Pinako walked over and quickly removed my demolished auto mail arm and auto mail legs. She replaced my legs with some other legs, just like the one Ed was using.
I nodded and pulled up my pants, "Thank you." I thanked them, before running out the door to the grave yard with a slight limp, since I wasn't used to these temporary legs.
On my way to Ed, I passed many people who greeted me casually. It was kind of weird at first, but it gave me a nice feeling, a comfortable one. One woman even have me a bouquet of flowers. Those flowers would be a small gift to Ed's mother. I ran faster. There wasn't anytime for me to be wasting now. Just ahead of me there was a graveyard, someone was standing over a grave.
Ed.
"Ed..." I muttered, jumping over the fence.
I ran up to Ed's side and stood next to him. He was tearing at his mother's grave, probably thinking about her. I'll let him think for a bit. Kneeling down on my knees, I gently placed my flowers on her grave. Trisha Elric. The last name Scar said claimed I had. Could it be true? Was I an Elric? I shook my head. There was no way I could be related to them, her.
"Allison?"
I yelped as I stared at Edm shocked at how he spoke so suddenly while I was in thought. Realization dawned on me. He said Allison, not Rose.
"It's Rose." I corrected him.
Ed glared at me. "No, it's Allison. When you're in a military mission you go by Rose. It's not your real name, Allison. Got that? Now tell me one thing. Why do you look and have the same name as my sister, Allison Elric." He hissed.
I frowned, "I won't tell you anything now. Now, you'll wait till we get back to Pinako's house." I mumbled, walking back to her house. "I hope your mother likes the flowers, they are fresh. I'll see you later."
______________
I say at the table eating what Pinako made. Soup. Right as Ed came in he was attacked by Major Armstrong's sympathy, also known as a manly embrace. Ed somehow got Major off him and sat down at the table, staring at me the whole time.
"Ed, Rose. Is something going on between you two?" Pinako asked.
"No/Yeah." We answered.
I glared at Ed, "There's nothing wrong. Ed's just a little moody from earlier." I wave it off, eating my food.
"Damn it Allison, you know something's wrong!" Ed shouted.
"It's Rose. And no, I don't know." I muttered, trying to pry away from the whole Allison Elric thing.
"No, Allison. You know what I'm taking about, answer my question from earlier, the one you ignored." Ed demanded, as he spoke through gritted teeth.
I sighed and pushed my plate away from me. I stood up and walked to the doorway.
"I'm done. Thank you for supper, Pinako." I muttered and bowed my head slightly as a thanks.
"That's it." I heard Ed mutter.
Next thing I know, I'm choking and struggling for breath as Ed holds me against the wall by my neck. My hands wrapped around his, as I tried prying them away from my neck. It was no use. He was stronger, much stronger than me.
"Ed! / Edward! / Big brother!"
He ignored them and only seemed to choke me even harder.
"Allison, answer my question. Why do you look exactly like my sister? Why do you have her name, Allison Elric? Tell me!" Ed yelled, bashing my head against the wall.

Edward's View
After Major tackled me in a hug, one that was 'full of love and sympathy.' I sat at the table, while thinking about my earlier conversation with Allison. She completely ignored me when I asked her about my little sister Allison. She did have the same name and looks as Ali. It wasn't a coincidence she had the last name Elric. I knew she was my little sister. She probably doesn't remember or something. It has been four years or so, so that would be understandable. But she keeps denying it!
I stared at Alison intensely. I was trying to get her to look at me so we could talk eye to eye, but she would always look another way.
"Ed, Rose. Is something going on between you two?" Granny Pinako asked us both.
"Yeah/No." We answered at the same time.
Before I could glare at her, she beat me to it, glaring at me harshly.
"There's nothing wrong. Ed's just a little moody from earlier." Allison said, waving it away like it was nothing.
I was not moody from earlier!
"Damn it Allison, you know something's wrong!" I shouted, getting angrier by the second.
"It's Rose. And no, I don't know." Allison said, still trying to change the subject.
"No, Allison. You know what I'm talking about, answer my question from earlier, the one you ignored." I demanded, venom lacing my voice.
Alison let out as sigh as she pushed her soup away from her. She stood up and walked to the doorway. I glared at her.
"I'm done. Thanks for the supper, Pinako." Allison muttered and bowed her head slightly.
That's it. I'm done playing games. I'm getting it out of her one way or another.
"That's it." I muttered, done with her stupid behavior.
I stood up and grabbed Allison by the neck, slamming her on the wall hard. She choked and struggled for air. At the moment I could care less. Her arms are wrapped around my hand and she tried taking them away from her neck. One thing was obvious. I was much stronger than she was at the moment. I smiled inwardly. How does it feel to be ignored, huh? Doesn't feel good, does it.
"Allison, answer my question. Why do you look exactly like my sister? Why do you have her name, Allison Elric? Tell me!" I yelled angrily, bashing her head against the wall.
Allison's arms fell limp to her side. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head. Oh no, this isn't good. She started to shake uncontrollably. I let go of her, her body falling to the ground.
"Ed, what did you do!?" Winry shouted, running to Alison's side.
"Big brother. Why did you hurt Rose!" Al shouted, shaking me.
I glared at him. "Stop calling her Rose! It's not her name. Her name is Allison Elric, damn it!" I shouted, frustrated.
Al let go of me, "You mean..." He trailed off in shock.
"She's our sister. There's no doubt about it. Who else would have golden blond hair and." I said, pointing at scar on her neck and her legs. "The mark on her neck, one only Allison would have. Same with the auto mail legs."
"The one she got when she fell off a tree, then the price she paid during the transmutation." Al said.
"Yeah..." I muttered, glancing down at Allison who stopped shaking, but her eyes were still at the back of her head. "She's our baby sister. The one we've been looking for."
Winry smacked me. "Ed, next time you do something like that to her. I won't just smack you. What you did just now, was not how you treat a lady." Winry spat.
"Edward, I was wondering how long it would take for you to figure it out." Major muttered.
Allison's eyes shut closed. I bit my lip and knelt down to check her pulse. She was still alive. God, I didn't kill her...good. Her eyes flew open. She sat up and looked around confused.
"Where am I?" She asked, her voice sounding much different than it did before.
"You're at my auto mechanics, Rose. Don't your remember?" I asked.
She shook she head. "No, but who's Rose?" She asked.
Everyone gasped. She doesn't remember?! What did I do...
I gulped and laughed nervously. "Rose, stop messing around with us, okay? I'm sorry!" I shouted.
She glared at me, "My names not Rose! Its Allison Elric, and you should know that." She whined.
"What do you mean by that?" Al asked.
Major, Winry, granny, Al and I surrounded her. She looked at all of us, but grinned when she saw me and Al.
"Don't tell me you forgot! Your guys are the worst big brothers I could have." She pouted.
I gasped very loudly.
"You remember..." I asked, tears forming in the corner of my eyes.
My sister was back. She remembered.
"What do you mean, big brother Ed? I would never forget about my two big brothers ever. I love you two guys too much to do that!" She grinned.
A tear slipped down my cheek.
"Can you say something only you would know, just to make sure?" Al asked.
She pouted. "My names Allison Elric. Both you and both brother Ed used to fight over who would sleep with me, neither of you ever won so you both slept with me." She answered.
I blushed. It was her. I threw my hands around her, crying in the nape of her neck.
"I missed you so much, Ali. You don't know how much we have missed you. Don't ever leave us again." I cried, "I'm glad you're back."
She's back. My long lost little sister. She's come back to us
