Ch.5 | Reole The City of Heresy

Allison's view

I walked up to an old man who was selling drinks and other random items.

"Hello!" I greeted.

"Oh, why hello there girlie. What can I get for you?" He asked me with a toothy smile.

I rested a hand on my cheek, "I was wondering if you've seen anyone that goes by Fullmetal. Have you seen him, or even heard of him? Anything about him will be useful, even rumors." I responded.

The old man nodded his head rapidly, "Actually, yes I have." I leaned in closer, curios to what he had to say. "He was here not to long ago with a short kid, but father Cornello has taken them to his quarters." He said, cleaning the table with a cloth.

He was here, damn I arrived here too late... Where could this Cornello man be?

"Can you tell me where this Cornello is?" I asked politely.

"Oh, are you interested in learning about letoism?" The man blurted out suddenly.

Letoism? I've never heard of such a religion before. Might as well go along with it if it with help me find Fullmetal.

"Why yes I am actually, letoism fascinates me to no end! You wouldn't mind telling me where I can find father Cornello, would you? I really want to bestow my life upon letoism!" I stated, pretending to be fascinated by their religion.

He pointed to a tall castle like building. "That building over there is where father Cornello is located. It's a pleasure meeting another person wanting to become a letoist. I hope to see you another day." He said.

I laughed, "Thank you, sir. I hope to see you another day as well." I said, faking a smile.

He waved me off as I went to Cornello's little 'palace' of his. So their 'father' is someone really noble to them. Like I care. If he gets in the way I'll have to end him. That's final. I clapped my hands and touched the ground, creating a hole on the side of the building. I grinned like a mad woman. This was just my kind of door. I ran in hearing a loud roar. Was that a lion? Why the hell would their be a lion in a place like this? I thought as I ran down many halls that had no guards whatsoever.

I reached a certain door, I could hear yelling from behind it and others talking too. I snuck in right as an old man made a machine gun and pointed it at a blonde boy, a boy in suit of armor, and a girl. I jumped I front of them quickly and bit down on my thumb. I then clapped my hands on the ground, making a wall of my blood form in front of us, protecting us from the bullets shooting at them at amazing speed. The others behind me gasped. I looked over my shoulder, remembering that there was people behind me.

"Sorry I'm late." I said, flashing a smirk. I turned to the old man. "It's rude that you a disgracing the title you've earned in this town, father. Shouldn't you be treating your guests with respect?"

'Father' Cornello aimed the machine gun at me with the click of his tongue. Immediately, bullets flew at me. I made another wall since the other one was unstable.

"Take the girl and run! Get out of here now!" I shouted, as the one in armor grabbed the girl and ran.

There was a door but who knows, for all we know there could be guards standing out there now. I sighed and ran to a random wall and placed my hands on the wall creating a door. The blonde kid pushed it open without any hesitation. We ran past all the guards who were all wimps. Once they saw us they screamed like little girls and ran away without a fight. It was really sad but a sight to remember. I smirked as we stood outside, free and safe from that man's clutches. The armor one turned to me.

"Thanks you for saving us, miss!" He thanked me, his voice sounding hollow.

"No need to thank me." I muttered, eyeing him.

Pushing that away I walked over to the blonde kid. "Be careful, that man isn't going to stop. He will try to get rid of you no matter what." I warned him. "Do you at least have a plan to take him down?" I asked.

He grinned, "Of course I do! That old phony isn't going to get away with this so easily! I got the perfect plan, but who are you anyways? Why did you help us?" He persisted.

"What? A girl can't help some random people in danger." I said, feigning hurt.

The armored one rushed to his brothers side, apologizing for his behavior. There brothers? Then why is one in armor while the other has...automail arms? I gasped quietly. The blonde eyes me warily, like he was trying to figure something out.

"Hey, what's your name!" He shouted, pointing a finger at me.

"Brother, stop!" The armor kid hissed.

"No, what's your name!" He asked again.

I sighed, "Persistent much... But my names Rose, you can call me Rosie, though." I said, using the nickname Hughes gave me.

"Oh, you two have the same name! Wow!" Armor boy shouted in awe, glancing between me and the girl with multicolored hair. A coincidence maybe, maybe not, but I am nothing like this girl in personality or looks.

"Really, you better not be lying to me damn it!" He shouted and grabbed me by the collar, lifting me up in the air easily due to my height and weight. I was 2 inches shorter than him.

"Brother, stop it!"

My head hurt. It was throbbing badly as I stared down the blonde boy. A small memory popped up.

Two small blonde boys and a blond haired girl were looking for food in a forest. They had found a bunny but none of them could kill it, not even the oldest. A fox ended up taking the rabbit for it's own meal.

"Allison! Alphonse! Don't let it get away!" A blonde boy shouted.

"Big brother, how are we going to get it! Look it's babies are eating it already.." A small blonde girl pointed out.

"Yeah brother, Ali is right." Another blond boy, with shorter hair said.

"Damn, fine we have to find something else." The first blonde boy cursed.

"How about, fish!" The little girl said.

Allison, that my name... It could be a coincidence, there are many Allison's in the world. But why is specific memory. Why does the boy who called out the name 'Allison' look exactly like the one I was looking at?

"Brother, put her down! What did she do!"

"No, Al!" Alphonse... "Look closely, doesn't she look like Allison? Doesn't she! Damn it Al, can't you see she looks like our missing baby sister!" Blondie cried.

I coughed, sputtering out incoherent words. I can't breath! I'm losing air fast. My hands wrapped around his, and I tried pulling his arms away. It didn't work with the strong grip he had on me.

"Your right... She does look a lot like Ali, doesn't she? But that can't be her, Ali left for the military. She should be in central doing paperwork and stuff, she wouldn't be over here! Brother, just put her down she saved us." Alphonse shouted his pleas.

"Fine," He spat, throwing me to the ground.

I hit the ground harshly and I wrapped my arms around my neck, trying my best to soothe my bow sore neck.

Alphonse came to my aid and he helped me up. "Thanks, Alphonse.."

"Wait!" I called after Alphonse's brother. "By any chance, are you the Fullmetal alchemist..?" I asked.

He appeared in front of my face with pride in his eyes, he struck a little pose. "Yes I am! Finally, someone who can tell I'm the Fullmetal alchemist! Wait- why do you need to know that?" He asked suspiciously after his moment of glory.

"I came here to find him, rumors went around about you searching for the philosopher's stone." He tensed. "I want to go along with you, I need information about the philosopher's stone too. If you bring me along I might give you information I have about the stone." I said.

"Fine, you can come." He said, and walked away. "Al, let's start the plan. Take rose with you, Rosie. Stay here, we'll meet you here when we're done."

I nodded.

-----------------------

Fullmetal finished up his little plan. Turns out father Cornello was using all his letoism believers to create a giant army who would risk their lives for there god. Also turns out that father Cornello had a philosopher's stone, a fake one to be exact. Fullmetal was angry.

"And what about the stone?" Alphonse asked.

"A phony, just like him.." Fullmetal spat.

"I'm sorry Al, for a second there I thought we actually found a way to get your body back." Fullmetal sighed.

My eyes widened. Alphonse is hollow, I knew it! Could they possibly have committed...the taboo?

"Give me the philosopher's stone!" Rose shouted, pointing a gun at Fullmetal and Al.

"Like I was saying, it was fake, it wasn't real. It shattered into pieces." Fullmetal explained.

"Lier!" Rose shouted, angrily. "You just want it for your bodies, yeah that's right! So you could try and bring your mother back again!"

Mother...? My head throbbed again, I fell to my knees holding my head in pain. Why does the word mother make my head hurt so much? Why!

"You definitely take over your father! My little geniuses, you make me so proud!" A woman with brown hair smiled, her hands clapped together. The kids she was looking at turned to each other with grins on there face.

The girl, she looks like me. Could I really be that girl? No, I couldn't be. My names Allison, but I'm not that girl! I have no family, only the military. Al and Fullmetal started to leave. I followed them in a daze. He said something to Rose, the other girl who they claimed had the same name as me earlierr. However, I couldn't hear a word they said. My mind was to stuck on the idea I was the Allison they were looking for.

"Fullmetal," I said.

"Yeah, Rosie?" He replied.

"What did your sister look like, I mean... How was she?" I asked, curiously.

"She was my baby sister of course... She looked just like me, blonde hair with beautiful honey gold eyes. A kind, cheerful girl anyone would love at first sight. The military took her from us, she joined them so she could help us find a way to get our bodies back. But, ever since that day, she didn't visit. Not a single letter or call, nothing. Me and Al are looking for the philosopher's stone along with our sister. We won't give up till we find her, she's the only light we have left ever since our mother died." Ed said.

"Oh, what would you do if she was possibly in front of your eyes this whole time?" I asked.

"Do you even need to ask? If she was here I would probably burst into tears in her arms. Suffocated her in a tight hug, buy her what she wanted, then I'd ground her. Being her big brother I could do that, she deserves it... She left me, us, with nothing, not even a goodbye..." Ed said, a tiny smile on his face.

"I see. Well, I'm sorry... I shouldn't have asked such a personal question..."

"Don't worry about it, kinda feels good letting that out. A small weight lifted off my shoulders."

"I hope you find you sister, Fullmetal, Alphonse."

"Stop with the Fullmetal, my names Edward. Just call me Ed."

"Okay, Ed."
