Val slowly opened her eyes only to find herself in their hideout covered in bandages . She heard someone come in .

" Oh , Princess it's a good thing you are awake " Shu said , he was holding a bowl of soup .

" Shu! What happened ? Is everyone okay in the Kingdom ? Why are we here ? " Val asked worringly , getting out of the bed .

" Princess , I am sorry " shu's bangs covered his eyes .

Val came near to Shu , " Why ?! What happened Shu ? TELL ME " Val shaked Shu holding his shoulders .

" They captured King and Queen , Alpha Star is now under their control " a tear slipped from shu's eye , " sorry I wasn't able to save them " .

" And Toko - Nika " Val inquired , she was at the verge of crying .

" They are also captured " Shu said .

Val fell on her knees , she was sobbing , " This is all because of me , if only I was strong enough , I would have been saved my Kingdom , my siblings and my parents . It's all my fault " Val punched the floor . Her wounds were cut opened by this and her hand was bleeding .

" Princess! calm down , It wasn't your fault , they were very strong " Shu tried to comfort Val .

" First I lost my friend and now my family , how can I be calm Shu ? " Val remembered her friend and the war . She wiped her tears and stood up  , " I am gonna save our kingdom Shu , no matter how strong they are , I will defeat them . Are you with me Shu ? " Val asked .

" Yes Princess , always " Shu replied . " Princess , before getting captured your father asked me to give you this " Shu took out the sapphire pendent from his pocket and gave to Val .

" The Kingdom stone of Alpha Star " Val stared at the pendent , " Thanks Shu for taking care of it and now I am not the Princess anymore . So you can just call me Val ."

" Okay , oh! Your hands are bleeding prin-val " Shu noticed Val's hands , " let me take care of this " Shu cleaned her hands , applied medicine and wrap it with fresh bandages .

" Thanks friend " Val said sitting on the bed .

" No problem " Shu smiled .

" Shu do we have any plans " Val asked .

" Yes , but first drink this soup " Shu said giving the soup to Val .

" But Shu - " Val was cut off by Shu ," no buts , you called me your friend  , now you have to listen to me . "

" Fine " Val smiled and take the bowl of soup from Shu , she felt like her friend was back to her .

Timeskip:-

" Now , tell our plan " Val asked to Shu .

" We are going to find Mizuki your Godmother , she will help us to find our answers " Shu said packing the things needed for the journey .

" I didn't saw her for a long time " Val said .

" Val do you know where can we find her  ? " Shu asked .

" Yeah , I have heard that she lives somewhere in South near the Snow Ace  kingdom . " Val said remembering .

" Okay we are setting off to the journey " Shu said putting the things on the horse .

" We are coming to get our answers , Godmother " Val get up on her horse .

Timeskip:-

" Shu! You think we are on the right path , this is the third time we came accross this lake " Val was tired they were traveling for hours.

" Don't know , I think we are lost " Shu said looking at the compass 🧭 .

" LOST!! , So what next " she asked .

" I think we should put our tent here , it's gonna be dark soon , we will find our way in the morning " Shu got off his horse and tied it to a tree .

" Okay " Val sighed and did the same .

They set the tent ⛺ . Shu fired the camp fire and Val gave green grass to the horses . After that , Shu cooked the dinner . They ate the dinner 🍛 and went to sleep to their respective tents .

" It's gonna be a long day tomorrow " Shu said to himself and closed his eyes .

With Val ~

She was holding that sapphire pendent in her hand . " Don't worry mom-dad , I will be back to save you all . Just wait for me " she put the pendent in her neck and drifted to sleep .

Meanwhile with ???

" Princess Val , atlast I got you " someone said from the bushes licking his/her lips .

With ???

" I should stay here tonight " he/she get off from his horse , tied it to a tree , gave it some grass and sat under a tree eating his/her apple 🍎 .
