LUCY POV

'It is just too stressful. . . I just can't take this anymore I have to deal with this the only way I feel is necessary.'

I walked the cliff you could see how beautiful the waterfall is and that is how I want my death to be. . . beautiful.

I start walking towards to the and right when I'm about to jump I hear someone yelling.

"No Lucy you don't have to do this please we can work this all out just move away from the edge!" I turned around to see Gray yelling while running towards me. . . I think I actually see the whole guild behind him

No. . . He can't stop me this is what I decided. I turned back around and leaped over the edge with a smile on my face. I was half way to the bottom and I could see the guild looking over the cliff where I jumped off crying. Its nice ya' know having some people care for you unlike some people in the guild how might use the hottest magic but still have a heart as cold as ice.

I could see the bottom I was almost there.

'SPLASH!'

I hit the water well I guess this is it goodbye cruel world. I closed my eyes and started crying silently with the biggest smile on my face. I did it. . . Wait how come I'm still here shouldn't I be you know in the sky watching over everyone? I opened my eyes and the water started glowing bright white. Then the waterfall stopped flowing and the light started swirling around me.

"W-W-What's happening!" I yelled in fear and shock.

I started floating and the water followed and suddenly I didn't feel fear anymore I looked around and it was such a beautiful sight. The water changed colors then I saw glowing balls of light appear and they shone through the night.

"Dance. . . Dance with us Lucy." I could hear the lights saying so I did, I ran around and spun and jumped up in the air.

Then I remembered the guild was still there and they were watching in awe and I just giggled then I stopped. I saw him coming oh how I hated him now he just ruined this perfect moment. He pushed his way to the front so he could get a better look. I just started at the pink haired dragon slayer who broke his promise and for that I will never forgive him.

FLASHBACK

LUCY POV

"Hey Natsuuuu!" I yelled in boredom

"What is it Luce." He said while burying his head on the table.

"Let's go on a job I'm B-O-R-E-D!" when I said that Natsu popped up in happiness and I just giggle at his mood swing.

I picked out a job that said to find some mystical staff and the reward was 500,000 jewls.

When we made it to our clients house they told us about the staff and it sounded pretty interesting. The staff could tell how people were feeling,what they craved, how to control their emotions and much more but I forgot them. We were in the woods when I ran into a tree but it wasn't the same as all the other trees. I knocked on the tree again and I had my suspicion.

"Hey Natsu I need you to punch a hole right here." I said to the dragon slayer who smirked and punched a whole where I asked him to.

Just as I have suspected this isn't a normal tree it was fake. I looked into the hole and I could see a slide and Natsu being the jerk he is pushed me down the fake tree. I screamed all the way down until I landed in a dark room then all of a sudden torches lit up the room and there in front of me was the staff that the client has been talking about.

"Hey Luce do you see anything!" Natsu yelled.

"Yea I think it is the staff!" I yelled but what I really wanted to say was "why don't you come and look for yourself!"

He jumped all the way down breaking threw the slide cause the whole thing to collapse.

"Great baka-ne how are we supposed to get out now!" I yelled at him.

He just ignored me and started walking forward and I followed close behind we reached the staff and it was lodged into a stone on the ground. the weird thing was that the room was dead quite and it was also a huge room but the only thing in it was the stone and the staff.

Natsu wedged it out with no problem and then the ground started to rumble. I should've known this was a trap from the beginning. All of a sudden there were shadows appearing on the ceiling then a black glop started dripping from the ceiling forming some sort of monster. The monster was all black it kinda looked like one of Elfman's takeover monsters but all black with white hair and dark red eyes. It had long red horns coming out of it head and long black nails coming from their fingers.

I just looked at it and gasped you could feel how evil the aurora was. Natsu who who still had the staff in his hand was fighting the monster and he got thrown into the floor and slid over to me. He had bruises and cuts all over his body he was so badly hurt and out of breath that he couldn't sit up. The monster started running towards us so is this how we are going to die I wondered. Just as the monster was approaching I heard a light and gentle voice.

"Pick up the staff Lucy. . . Pick it up and you will survive." the person said.

I did as the voice instructed and picked up the staff and it started glowing. It was like I could feel my magic power multiplying my eyes started changing from chocolate brown to crystal blue and my hair started growing so now it was down to my waist and instead of it being blonde it was bright white.

"Lucy!" Natsu yelled I was so distracted with the staff that I didn't see the monster hurdle towards us.

The monster was right in front of me and he was about to attack when I gently placed the staff on his chest and the whole room started to light up it was so bright.

NATSU POV

I looked over to Lucy and she was different instead of blonde hair and brown eyes she had blue eyes and white hair. Lucy was so distracted in her change that she didn't realize that the monster was running towards her.

"Lucy!" I yelled hoping that she would realize the monster.

She turned around to face the monster what was she doing she was just standing there I wanted to tell her to move but I didn't have enough energy. The monster was about to attack and I just sat there with tears started to fill up my eyes. Then something amazing and crazy happened Lucy took the staff and put it to the monsters chest before it could attack and there was a bright light that appeared. It was so bright I had to cover my eyes and when the light was gone I saw that the monster had disappeared but also that Lucy was on the ground and she turned back to normal. I finally picked enough strength to run over to her and pick her up in my arms then I felt something wet on my hand. . . It was blood and lots of it and it was coming from Lucy I looked at her side and it was covered in blood I guess the monster struck her when she attacked him.

"Lucy what were you thinking!" I yelled with tears in my eyes

"N-N-N-Natsu" Lucy said weakly

"Promise what ever happens you will always stay by my side and you will never forget me I want you to promise me that Dozo" she said the she passed out.

I ran as fast as I could to the clients house to get her fixed up I told them what happened and they quickly went to work good thing that one of them was a doctor.

"Ok I have done as much as I could she still is in a rough condition and probably won't be walking or awake for a couple of days because the wound on her side was really deep." One of the clients said.

"Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm" I heard a faint sound from Lucy's room then I heard a high pitches scream I ran up to the room Lucy was in and she was gone but there was a note on her bed I walked over to her bed and read the note.

"I'm all fired up now!" I yelled in anger.
