"I want you to kill Vanoss!" the man squeaked, throwing a file down onto the table.

"Alright, Lui. How much does this one pay?" Delirious opened up the file and began flipping through it. The cover was emblazoned by a golden owl, and it was stuffed with a certain person's criminal record, photos, and information. A tan envelope slipped out. It was a list of the requirements.

"Fifty thousand cheerios," Lui squawked in his childish voice. "Fuck no. This Fong guy may be a hot-shot, but he's not dumb enough to leave himself exposed. This isn't gonna be a quick job. It'll take a while."

"Fine! Ten grand?" Delirious shook his head impatiently. "Not gonna cut it. No deal." He got up as if about to leave, baiting his employer.

"No no don't go! Thirty grand! Thirty grand! But no more, that's my entire allowance this week." Week? This kid's rich... damn.

"Deal!" Delirious' composure changed completely. A huge grin broke out on his painted face. He even did a little happy dance before skipping out the door with file in-hand.

~Time Skip~

After his meeting with the infamous Lui, Delirious went home and ran a hot shower. He started tomorrow. The objective was to get close to him- become his "buddy"- before collecting information on his empire of criminals, hijack his missions if possible, and kill him without anyone finding out who did it. Simple.

Delirious stepped out of the shower, wrapping a towel around himself. He slipped under warm blue bedsheets, emblazoned with little teddy faces. He planned to follow Fong a bit the next day, and follow him around to try and gain more information. The files stated that Fong was staying at one of his chain hotels for unknown reasons, and usually left around two in the evening for various purposes.

Feeling better now that he had a plan, Delirious hugged his teddy and closed his eyes, drifting off to sleep.
