~Rainbow Steve's POV~

Everything is black. I can't see a single thing, not even an inch in front of me. Pain is the only feeling I have, but I can't even identify where it's from.

Then, I feel a splash. Cold water surrounds me, but I can't do a single thing about it. It's as if I don't have control of my own body while I'm in the water.

I continue to sink down, trying to hold my breath as long as possible.

Something happens, something I never will be able to describe fully.

A tingly feeling goes through my entire body, and I feel like I'm being lifted up. My eyes are closed to keep the water from getting in them, but I can tell there is brightness.

Then, I loose all my sense of what's happening, and I completely black out.

My eyes open, and I gasp for air. What happened...? I think to myself as I get up out of a bed.

"Wasn't I in the ocean or something before? How did I get in a bed?" I say aloud, groaning. I rub my face, still groggy from whatever the hell happened. I look beside me, and there is another bed. Well, there is a ton of beds around here, but the one beside me in particular stands out.
It has someone in it.

A groan comes from whoever is in the bed next to me, making me jump. "Ugh... I feel like I was hit by a train or something..." they groan. They sit up, and I look closer at them. They look almost like the assassin I was with earlier, just a little different.

They had the same bandanna, and the same mop of brown hair on top of their head; but their assassins robe is a lot different.

As soon as they see me, they pull out a dagger and point it towards me. "Who the hell are you?" they shout, and I sigh. This again...

"I'm Rainbow Steve, and I'm guessing your name is Sabre," I say, making them step back.

"H-How'd you...?" they trail off, but I know what they mean. I can't help it, this makes me chuckle. This feeling, seeming like I've somewhat been through this before, it makes me want to laugh.

"You wouldn't believe me," I say simply, and he looks at me in confusion.

"How the hell are you even here in the hideout?!" the guy, Sabre, asks me.

"Honestly, I have no idea," I bite my bottom lip, seeing as they have a dagger pointed directly at me and I have nothing. They sigh, putting the dagger up.

"You don't seem like someone who could hurt more than a fly, Rainbow Steve," they spat, as if my name is poison to their mouth. I mean, they're not wrong; I probably couldn't even hurt a mere fly.

"Come on, follow me. Just don't do anything funny," Sabre says, groaning. He gets out of the bed the rest of the way though, nevertheless. I nod, following him out to what seems like the meeting area. "Wait here, I'll be back in a minute," he practically commanded of me.

I didn't fight it, I just nodded. He walked through a doorway to another room, leaving me alone in this huge room. Just run now, get as far away from here as possible, my mind screams at me, but for some reason I ignore it. Something is telling me to just stand right here and wait on Sabre to come back with whatever he was getting.

A few minutes later the clunking of his boots is heard coming back in the direction I'm in, and before long, he appears in the doorway. "Follow me," he says, and I hesitantly nod. "Now, you got to swear on your life that you're not going to tell a soul about the location of where this base is, nor anything you see. Understand?"

I nod, biting my lip. "Good. 'Cause if you do turn your back on us, we're going to have to kill you," he says simply as if nobody's lives were threatened. I bite my bottom lip, nodding once again.

He then opens a door for me, and I see a table with multiple people at it. "This is the main members of the creed; Flub, Colleen, Spencey, and Jet," Sabre says, pointing at each of them. The only one I could actually remember was Colleen, since she's the only girl that was there, but oh well.

"Hey there...?" one of them start, clearly wanting me to say my name next.
"Rainbow Steve. My names Rainbow Steve."

They all nod, clearly decided they're going to remember my name.

"Well then, welcome to the creed, new recruit," Sabre says with a grin.
