Chapter 7

December 21

[Park Hyunjin]

"Yeah, that's right." he was questioning me if he was right. I told him that it was right.

We're here in my apartment, practicing the song we'll perform in Le Café. We agreed that we'll take turns in singing the song. It was alright, since his voice was beautiful too. We almost master it though. Almost. I didn't say we mastered it already.

"Hey Hyunjin, can we take a break for just how many minutes? Im really hungry." Jeonghan said while rubbing his tummy. He looked like a little kid who wants to eat the cake so badly. I chuckled and stood up, leaving my guitar on my bed. "Alright. I'll cook food for us."

"Eh? You know how to cook? Why don't we just order?" he suggested and I just agreed with it. I took my phone out and called Hyolin. She's the only one who can bring us food. She doesn't really do anything in Le Café.

"Hey Hyunjin! How's your day off? Having fun huh?"

She sounds jealous but meh. "Hey Hyolin. Can you bring us food here? We're really hungry."

"We? What do you mean by 'we'? Your with someone else? Who is it?" she started to ask me questions about who I was with. I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"Just give us food. Hurry up! We're totally hungry right now."

"Alright, alright. I'll be there in any minute. Bye!" she hung up. I went back inside my room and saw Jeonghan was still practicing the song. I chuckled lightly and sat beside him, putting my guitar on my lap.

"The food will be coming here. We'll just wait for it." I said and put my phone near my laptop. I started to play the guitar with him. When I looked at him, he was staring at me. He smiled and looked back at the strings. I grinned and looked at the strings too.

We heard someone knocking the door. I sighed and put my guitar on my bed. I went to the door and opened it. I saw Hyolin, smiling while carrying a bag full of foods. "Here you go, JinJin! I have to go back to the café. Eat it okay?" she gave it to me and I thanked her. She left when I closed the door. I put the bag on the table and opened it. It smells delicious. I put the food out of the bag so Jeonghan and I can eat it now. Just in time, Jeonghan came out of my room and went towards the table. He was staring at the food. I giggled lightly and grabbed a plate for the both of us. I set them on the table and told Jeonghan to take a sit. "Eat well" he said as nodded.

We started eating. The food was indeed delicious, not gonna lie. We even stayed quiet, busy eating I guess.

After we eat, Jeonghan helped me clean the table. He's really helpful huh? We went back to my room and started practicing. When I was playing, he suddenly stopped. I looked at him with a confused look. "Why'd you stop?" I asked.

"I was just thinking, why don't we perform this tomorrow at the park? We'll tell them to go to Le Café on December 25." he said. I started thinking of it. Well it sounds like a good idea. Le Café will be crowded on that day. Mrs. Han will be happy about it of course. So why not do it right?

I nodded, agreeing with him. "Sure! That'll be a great idea. Lets perform tomorrow at the park. And if we tell them, Im sure they'll come.".

He smiled, "But we should prepare two songs." I shrugged, not knowing what song. We started thinking about it and I don't really know what song. I started to type something random in my laptop and a song suddenly popped in my mind. "Lost stars." I murmured. Jeonghan looked at me, confused.

"What did you say?"

"Lost stars. We'll perform "Lost stars" and "Mistletoe"." I said and he seems confused still. I sighed, "We'll perform--"

"Yeah, yeah, I know. We'll perform "Lost stars" and "Mistletoe". It's a good thing that I already know how to play "Lost stars". That'll be good." he said, smiling. Yeah, that's a good thing. I thought I have to tell him that he's in the right chord. Well I don't have to because he already know.

"Wanna practice that?" I asked and he nodded. We started playing "Lost stars" since we'll perform that tomorrow at the park. We took turns in singing like what we did in "Mistletoe". Whenever we stare at each other, my heart will skip a beat. Even when he smiles.

Alright, I'll confirm it now. I love him. I wanna tell those three words to him but it will just make us both awkward with each other. He doesn't like me. He just see me as a friend right?

[Yoon Jeonghan]

Her eyes, they're so beautiful. Her smile, it always makes my day. Everything about her makes me smile. I just cant stop falling for her. Those three words are easy to think about it but hard to say. I love her. Yes, its confirmed. I wanna say it now but it'll make us both awkward. She might ignore me everytime she see me and I don't want that to happen. I want to be by her side, always. Protecting her, making her happy, and making her mine.

"Hey Jeonghan, I think its becoming late. You have to go home now." she said.

I glanced at the clock and it was indeed late. It was 10:30 p.m.. Time really flies fast when your with someone you like. I nodded, "Yeah, it is. See you tomorrow, Hyunjin." I put my guitar in my guitar bag and carried it. She waved at me with a smile on her face.

I left her apartment andwent to mines. My apartment was just at the next floor. While I was walking, Icome to think of it. Why don't I confess my feelings on Christmas day?
