Chapter 2: God Tussi Great Ho! - UNEDITED BARE WITH ME PLS

Third Person POV:

1 week later:

Anand and Vijay collapsed on to the couch as soon as they entered their home, and stared in the direction of the window, where Tara could be seen talking to her Ranveer Singh poster about god knows what.

"Hey Anand, you know i just realised something" Vijay said.

Anand stared at Vijay with a "What?" Look.

"DEEPIKA GOT MARRIED TOH AB MERA KYA HOGA!" Vijay exclaimed almost bursting in to tears.

"Oh shit... I didn't even realise cause we were so busy looking for a Ranveer for Tara" Anand replied back. "And Chill, I don't think Deepika even knew you existed, don't be an Tara please"

"DON'T YOU COMPARE ME WITH TARA, I'm not as crazy as her okay." Vijay said defending himself, when he got no response from Anand he turned towards him to see Anand staring at the ceiling, lost in thoughts.

"Yaar, why is it so hard to find a Ranveer..." Anand thought reflecting on the past week.

Anand and Vijay entered the cafe looking around for any potential Ranveers.

"Hey is your name Ranveer?"

"Nahi, Tanveer"

"Ranveer Right?" Vijay probed.

"I ain't telling you my name is Kabir, get away from me"

Vijay and Anand just mentally facepalmed and walked away.

"Haan, just came back from Australia last week man..." before the person speaking could finish their sentence Anand and Vijay moved their chairs towards him and asked.

"Ranveer?! OMG WE FINALLY FOUND YOU MAN, we've been looking for you for ages, tara nee kosam waiting (tara's waiting for you), padha (come on) lets go" and grabbed 'Ranveers' hand ready to drag him towards their car.

"My name ain't Ranveer mate, its Rajveer, sorry..." taking his hand out of Anand and Vijays grip he quickly ran towards his car.

*next day*

Anand and Vijay exited the temple, with the hope that God will answer their prayers of having a Ranveer Singh free life. After putting their shoes back on, as they were about to walk towards their car when they heard something, the answer to their prayers.

"Oye, do you know who I am? Ranveer. Ranveer Pothineni, how dare you try to sell these for double the price" He said, pointing towards the headphones.

Name = Ranveer. Check.

"Just because I'm an NRI na, if i was a local you wouldn't even think of doing this. You..." As Ranveer continued to throw insults at the knockoff Beats headphones seller, Vijay and Anand stared at each other and thought.

Tattad Tattad free life, here we come.

When they looked back towards to where their Ranveer was meant to be, all they saw was the headphones seller with the headphones tangled around his neck, and the back of their Ranveers head.

Anand and Vijay power-walked towards Ranveer, but saw that he was about to get in to his car. Looking at their surroundings all Anand could see was a garland, sweets and some chappals. Deciding the garland would the least harmful, Anand used all of his might to throw the garland across the road, to make it perfectly go around his neck.

Ranveer slowly turned around, taking of the garland in the process. As soon as his eyes landed on Anand and Vijay who looked like they were gonna pee in their pants. He simply chuckled and called them over.

"You're good looking yaaron. But I don't swing that way." He said, chuckling.

"No, No No. NOOO. We were just, trying to get your attention... erm..." Anand awkardly trying to explain the situation

"It's fine, but maybe next time, call out like "OYE" or something. Oh yeah my name is..." Vijay interrupted Ranveer mid-sentence saying "Ranveer! Telusu, Telusu. [I know, I know]"

Ranveer looked at them perplexed. Anand glared at Vijay, who suddenly found the concrete road interesting to look at.

Vijay slowly mentioned, "Athi [actually], When you were arguing with the shop owner person, we heard you mention your name..."

Ranveer smiled, nodding his head.

"So you're new in town right?" Anand asked even though he already knew the answer to his question.

Ranveer Nodded, again.

"Why don't we give you a tour, the ANAND and VIJAY special! We'll take you to all the tourist spots in Hyderabad. What do ya think?" Anand asked, praying his only hope would say yes.

"WE'LL TAKE YOU TO SOME RESTAURANTS TOO! LIKE NON-KING" Vijay blurted out in desperation.

"VIJAY!" Anand hissed.

Ranveer looked at the two man-children in front of him.

"Sure, why not! Not like you're gonna get me married or anything."

Anand and Vijay stared at Ranveer like they had seen a bhoot [ghost].

"Yeah, my jokes aren't the best. Now chalo tell me about this Non-King place..." Ranveer asked Vijay.

As Ranveer and Vijay were deep in to conversation about the Chinese restaurant.

Anand looked back towards the temple and said.

"GOD tussi great ho! But thoda late bhi! But it's okay, I forgive you"
