CHAPTER TWs: (SLIGHT?) EMETOPHOBIA

"This level shouldn't have any entities, but it does have harm other than entities." Aubrey commented.

"Which are...?" Basil nervously asked.

"Air pollutants." Aubrey replied after a bit of looking. "We should be fine."

In this level, most of the buildings were empty, leading everyone to find nothing of value (other than Kel, who insisted that he keep a stick he found on the ground).

All of a sudden, Kel's legs started to get shaky and he sat down, breathing quickly.

"Kel, are you okay...?" Hero asked, leaning down to help his brother.

Then, Kel vomited on the ground. Everyone else looked away in disgust, trying not to see or hear what was happening.

"Kel, are you okay? Maybe the pizza we ate didn't agree with you?" Hero suggested.

"M-maybe..." Kel said. "I still feel sick, though..."

"Mari, hand me the water to wash out Kel's mouth."

Mari handed Hero the water, which he promptly gave to Kel, who did his best to wash out the taste of his vomit.

That's when Aubrey saw the empty soda can in Kel's crate. She picked it up. It had the Barnaby Bun logo on it.

"Kel, did you drink this soda?" she asked hesitantly.

"Yeah... I was thirsty!" Kel replied.

"You can't do that! It's expired and has a lot of iron in it!"

"Oh... I messed up, didn't I?"

No one looked more horrified than Hero. "We need to find something to cure him!"

"We will, but I don't think treatments from home will work..." Aubrey commented.

"I know!" Basil said. "Try giving half a can of almond water every day!"

Hero, although reluctant, gave his brother half of one of the almond water cans.

Once they were done, they proceeded onward, when they saw a huge sign. It read: "Escape Rooms Game Show - Forget Me Not" in huge bold lettering, with an arrow pointing to the left.

"A game show? We should watch!" Mari suggested.

"It might be fun, I guess..." Sunny said.

After Sunny said that, everyone went left, then north, then right, and several more turns until they came to a door. They opened it, and neon light flooded their eyes. There were six seats open in the back, so they took them before anyone else could.

It seemed like the show would start in a few minutes.

Basil: Several flowers (both real and plastic), camera, his photo album, notepad, pen, his mouse, Sunflower Seed, the dead mouse which he wants to bury, and a can of almond water

Kel: Empty soda can, a small box of batteries, a tarp, a baseball bat, a bottle of cough syrup, a shard of glass, a box of crayons, a used syringe, a half-burned piece of paper, a slightly-tattered neon green shoelace, 50 cents in dimes, Basil's grass plant, and a stick

Hero: Nothing

Aubrey: Phone and half of a can of almond water
