Byleth vs Lumine
The first time everyone watched the Death Battle was a momentous occasion, as the simulation brought together combatants from countless universes to engage in a brutal fight to the death, even though it wasn't real. The existence of the multiverse sparked endless speculation among scientists, philosophers, theorists, and countless others, all attempting to find explanations, but none of their efforts yielded any concrete answers.
Across various worlds, the heroes and protagonists watched with a mix of fascination and skepticism. They couldn't help but wonder why this god of the Multiverse would want to entertain so many different universes with such a deadly spectacle. This made them cautious, unsure of the true motives behind the event. Despite their doubts, the battle was proving useful. It allowed them to study the combatants' fighting styles and abilities, enhancing their own skills. By watching, they could identify their own strengths and weaknesses, determined to improve. As they watched, they knew their own villains would eventually be thrust into the Death Battle, and they intended to study their foes' movements, looking for new ways to defeat them. For the villains, seeing their enemies participating in this simulated battle, even if it was only a simulation, gave them a strategic edge. They could now analyze their opponents, pinpointing their vulnerabilities in hopes of exploiting them later. But, despite this advantage, the villains and monsters remained trapped in frozen bodies, unable to move beyond their heads, eyes, and mouths. They could observe, but not act—at least not yet.
The screen flickered back to life as Boomstick and Wiz announced the next combatants for the Death Battle.
Wiz: In the world of fantasy and adventure, two powerful warriors stand out among the rest.
Boomstick: Like Byleth, the Ashen Demon from Fire Emblem, and Lumine, the Traveler from Genshin Impact!
Wiz: Byleth is a master tactician and a formidable fighter, wielding the Sword of the Creator and the power of the goddess Sothis.
Boomstick: While Lumine travels across Teyvat, harnessing elemental powers and searching for her lost sibling.
Wiz: She's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.
Boomstick: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle!
Everyone finds it intriguing to watch new combatants of the next Death Battle. Any people from different worlds know of Byleth or Lumine, they are happily excited to see those familiar ones to participate in the battle. They begin cheering on Byleth or Lumine to represent their world. They hope one of them will win.

Jeralt looked at his daughter with a proud smile. "Well now... Looks like you're up against that girl over there," he said, gesturing to the opponent.
Byleth gave a soft laugh, still taken aback. "Indeed... I'm truly surprised to have been chosen for the battle tournament."
"Professor!" A familiar voice called out. Byleth turned to see her students from the Blue Lions approaching her, but they were not alone—members of the Golden Deer and Black Eagles were there as well.
Dimitri, his face full of concern, stepped forward. "Professor! Have you seen it?"
"I have," Byleth replied. "I'm just as surprised as you are that they picked me for this tournament."
Ignatz hesitated, then spoke with uncertainty. "Uh, Professor, the tournament... it's about fighting to the death, right?"
Before she could respond, Caspar wrapped his arm around Ignatz's shoulders, grinning excitedly. "Hey man, don't think too negatively! This is the best thing I've ever seen!"
Dimitri glanced at Byleth, his concern still evident. "Professor, I know you're no stranger to battle, but this seems unlike anything we've ever faced. Please, be careful. You have our trust, but don't underestimate your opponent. We'll be rooting for you."
"Don't worry, Dimitri," Byleth reassured him. "I'll be fine. Even though this is just, uh, a simulated fight for entertainment, I'm confident I can win."
Jeralt chuckled, clearly proud. "Heh, that's my kid."
Byleth gave a small smile at her father's words, appreciating his support despite the absurdity of it all.
Claude, always the optimist, joined the conversation. "Professor, a battle against someone from another world, huh? Sounds like a great chance to show off what you're made of. I don't know what this Lumine person can do, but I've seen you take on worse. Just don't let your guard down—and remember to have fun out there!"
Ingrid, her face stern but full of faith, added, "Professor, you've guided us through countless battles. Though this is new, I believe in your abilities. Be swift, be decisive, and remember that you represent all of us in the Blue Lions."
"Thanks, Ingrid. I'll keep that in mind," Byleth said, smiling at her student.
Edelgard, ever the strategist, was next. "Professor, I have complete faith in your abilities. You've led us through countless battles, and I know you'll approach this one with the same resolve. Whoever this Lumine is, I trust you'll find her weaknesses and emerge victorious. Show her the strength of a true leader."
Hubert, though more reserved, spoke with unwavering confidence. "You've faced far more dangerous opponents before. I expect you'll dismantle her with efficiency. But do not let your guard down. I'll ensure everything is prepared in case you need assistance afterward."
Raphael, ever the cheerful one, grinned widely. "You've got this, Professor! I know you're tough! Just hit her real hard and don't hold back! I'll be cheering you on!"
Mercedes, more thoughtful than the others, spoke with a gentler tone. "I'll be praying for your safety. I know how strong you are, but battles like these are unpredictable. Please take care of yourself. If you get hurt, we'll be here to heal you."
Byleth looked at them all, touched by their support. "Thank you, everyone. I know I'm not in this alone. If it's a real tournament, I'll do whatever it takes to win."
Ferdinand, his usual fiery enthusiasm evident, spoke next. "Ah, Professor! A duel against an opponent from another world? I have no doubt you will triumph! After all, you've been our brilliant guide. This Lumine may be formidable, but no one surpasses your strength or tactical prowess. Show her the glory of the Black Eagles!"
Lorenz, ever the proud member of the Golden Deer, disagreed. "No! Fight for the Golden Deer. You will approach this with the dignity befitting this world!"
Dedue, his voice steady and firm, stepped forward with an intense gaze. "She is our professor of the Blue Lions. She'll fight for us, not for the Golden Deer or Black Eagles."
The tension between the three houses grew, but Byleth quickly raised her arms, hoping to calm the situation. "Everyone, please," she said, her voice gentle yet firm. "I'm not fighting just to represent each house. I'm fighting for this world."
A sudden voice interrupted, causing them all to turn in surprise. "And you shall have it."
They saw Archbishop Rhea standing before them, a calm but powerful presence. Seteth and Flayn stood by her side, both watching Byleth with great attention.
"Archbishop," Byleth said, acknowledging the unexpected appearance.
Jeralt, equally surprised, nodded respectfully. "Archbishop Rhea, what a surprise."
Rhea smiled at them all, her voice filled with wisdom. "Byleth, as the chosen one for this battle tournament, I have no doubt that you will overcome any challenge placed before you. However, this Lumine is an unknown factor, and I trust you will approach this battle with both the wisdom and strength you have always demonstrated. May the goddess guide you. I will pray for your victory and safe return. Show them what you are made of for this world."
Seteth, his concern evident, added, "I urge you to remain vigilant. We do not know what this person is capable of, so approach this fight with caution. You are far too important to us—to the Church and to everyone who relies on you."
Flayn, ever the optimistic one, smiled brightly. "I will pray for your victory and your safety. No matter what this Lumine can do, I believe you will prevail."
One by one, the others added their support. Then, Alois and several other familiar faces entered the monastery.
Jeralt chuckled, his pride obvious. "I see you're all here to give support to my kid?"
Shamir, standing tall and confident, gave a nod. "You bet, Jeralt."
Alois grinned and clapped Byleth on the back. "Oh, Professor! A battle with someone from another world? Sounds exciting but dangerous! I know you're tough, though. I'll be cheering for you with everything I've got. Just don't forget to keep smiling—victory is always within your grasp!"
Catherine, as always, had faith in her. "Thunderbrand or not, I'd bet on you any day. Just give her everything you've got, and don't hold back."
Shamir, always strategic, added, "Adapt to anything thrown your way, but be cautious. Surprises in battle are rarely good. Just make sure you win."
Byleth stood still, deeply moved by the support of those around her. For the first time, she felt truly happy and grateful for the faith others had in her. Turning to them, she gave a firm nod. "I will do what I can, everyone. Let's hear what the hosts have to say about my opponent, and we'll see how I fare."

In the city district
In the bustling city district, Amber's voice rang out, filled with excitement.
"Look, Eula! The Traveler's part of the battle tournament! Isn't that exciting?"
Eula glanced at the tournament details, her tone thoughtful. "Hm, I've heard that the Traveler's opponent is someone named Byleth. From what I know, she's no stranger to combat."
Amber's worry flared. "I just hope Lumine can hold her own against someone like that, even if it's only a staged fight."

Diluc's Bar
Kaeya lounged casually against the counter, a playful smirk on his face. "Well, well. It seems Lumine's up against a real challenge, don't you think?" He turned his gaze to Diluc, who was meticulously wiping down a bottle.
Diluc glanced at the screen before answering with a calm confidence. "I've seen the Traveler in action. She'll handle it just fine. Speaking of handling things..." His eyes drifted over to the counter where Venti, the God of Freedom, lay sprawled out, head resting on the surface, surrounded by empty beer bottles.
Diluc's thoughts turned to annoyance. For someone who claims to be a god, he's certainly not great at paying for his drinks.

Lisa, ever observant, couldn't hide her surprise. "Oh my, it looks like Lumine's facing quite the challenge in this tournament."
Jean nodded gravely. "Byleth's a formidable tactician. If we ever crossed paths with her in person, I'm sure she'd be an invaluable ally."
Lisa offered a soft smile. "Perhaps..."
Before Jean could respond, the door burst open, and Klee rushed in, her small feet thundering across the floor.
"Jean! Jean! It's Lumine!" Klee's voice rang out, filled with joy as she pointed excitedly at the screen.
Jean chuckled softly, her gaze softening as she watched Klee. "I know, Klee. I know. I just hope our honorary knight wins, even if the tournament is only for show. At least it'll be a representation of Mondstadt."

Paimon floated excitedly beside Lumine, her tiny voice full of energy. "Hey, Lumine! Look! That's you!"
Lumine glanced at the screen, her own surprise mirroring Paimon's excitement. "Yeah... I'm a bit shocked to be facing such a skilled tactician and fighter."
Kachina stood nearby, her voice warm with encouragement. "We're rooting for you, Traveler. You've got this!"
Xilonen, her tone confident, added, "We're placing our hopes on you, Traveler. Don't hold back."
Lumine chuckled softly, giving a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, I won't."

Byleth
Boomstick: "Alright, people, get ready for one of the most powerful mercenaries we've ever seen in Death Battle—none other than the Ashen Demon herself, Byleth from World of Fodlan"
Wiz: "Byleth may seem like a quiet and reserved character, but don't let that fool you. She's got more than enough power to take down some of the fiercest opponents, and today we're going to break down exactly why. Let's start from the beginning."
Wiz: "Byleth's origin story is shrouded in mystery. Born to Jeralt and Sitri, her mother passed away shortly after her birth, and Jeralt left the Knights of Seiros to become a mercenary, raising Byleth on the road. From a young age, Byleth was trained in combat, becoming a formidable fighter even before the events of Fire Emblem: Three Houses."
Boomstick: "Yeah, you don't get the nickname 'Ashen Demon' for nothing! Byleth earned that title thanks to her stone-cold fighting style, wiping out enemies without so much as breaking a sweat. It's that merciless skill that makes her such a dangerous opponent in battle."
Wiz: "Byleth's life takes a dramatic turn when she rescues three key students from the Officers Academy—Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude—from a bandit attack. This event leads her to become a professor at Garreg Mach Monastery, where she serves one of these three lords, shaping the future of Fódlan through both her teaching and combat prowess."
Boomstick: "And let's not forget, she's not just any professor! Byleth quickly rises to become one of the most influential figures in the war, taking command of her students on the battlefield and fighting against overwhelming odds."

Claude's eyes widened, his excitement unmistakable. "Whoa! Ashen Demon? That sounds incredible! You managed to beat us in a mock battle? That's impressive!"
Bernadetta, clearly unsettled by the title, spoke up hesitantly. "Um, that sounds a bit scary. Why would you call yourself that?"
Byleth, with a calm demeanor, responded. "I was defending against bandits when my father and I took on a job for a client. I handled them quickly and efficiently, without breaking a sweat. I defeated them without ever being knocked to the ground."
Seteth observed quietly, his voice thoughtful. "I see... Still, it has a rather... imitative feel to it."
Jeralt nodded in agreement, his voice low. "Indeed."
He turned his attention to Seteth as he spoke.
Catherine, always enthusiastic, added, "Nice! Though Ashen Demon might sound terrifying to some, you've certainly made a name for yourself. A good one, Professor."
Byleth, clearly embarrassed by the attention, quickly waved her hand. "Catherine, please... stop."
She tried to brush off the mention of her nickname, feeling a bit uncomfortable.
Sylvain, ever supportive, chimed in. "Even so, don't lose this time, Professor. We're counting on you!"
Byleth offered him a grateful smile. "Thanks, Sylvain."

Lemon Irvine's expression was one of astonishment. "Whoa... Not only is she a formidable mercenary fighter, but she's also a professor? That's amazing!"
Lance Crown raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Quite fascinating. She's a skilled fighter and now a professor. If she had magic, she could probably deliver some devastating attacks with her weapon."
Mash Burnedead, his usual blank expression unchanged, glanced over. Though intrigued by the dual nature of Byleth as both a fighter and a professor, he couldn't shake the feeling that her presence would mean more studying—something that always annoyed him, especially when he'd rather just enjoy his favorite food or take a nap.
Finn Ames, ever curious, turned to Mash. "Do you think this so-called Lumine will be able to put up a fight against someone like her?"
Mash merely nodded in agreement. "Yeah."

Min Min's voice carried with excitement as she spotted her friend on the screen. "Look! It's Byleth! It's been a while since she last participated in a battle here."
Little Mac, gazing at the screen, let out a wistful sigh. "It's been too long. I miss seeing her around."
Falco, ever the realist, spoke up. "Mac, she prefers staying in her world, teaching her students and ensuring her world remains safe. You know that, right?"
Little Mac nodded, understanding, but still feeling the void her absence had left. "Yeah..."
Captain Falcon's excitement grew as he saw Byleth preparing to face off against a new fighter in a different tournament. His voice was filled with energy. "Byleth facing off against someone from another world? Now that's a showdown! I know she's tough, I've seen her in action. Lumine won't know what hit her! When Byleth's in the zone, she hits like a Falcon Punch—there's no way she's losing this one! Go show them your moves, Professor!"
Marth, his tone calm and assured, added, "Byleth has always impressed me with her strategy and skill. Whoever this Lumine is, she's about to face a true challenge. Byleth's strength isn't just in brute force—it's in her tactical brilliance and her ability to read the battlefield. I have no doubt she'll prevail, as she always does."
Lucina, ever the supporter, nodded with a smile. "It doesn't surprise me that she's taking on someone from another world. She's always ready for a challenge. I know she'll be able to handle whatever Lumine throws at her. No matter how powerful her opponent may be, Byleth's determination will carry her through. I wish I could stand beside her again, but I trust she'll be fine on her own."
Pit's voice rang with excitement. "Whoa! Byleth taking on someone from another universe? That's gotta be intense! We know how strong she is—she's beaten all of us at one point or another! This Lumine better watch out, because Byleth's got some crazy moves. Go, Byleth! I know you can do it!"
Zelda, her tone wise and composed, offered her support. "Byleth is a remarkable warrior, both strong and wise. Her opponent may come from another world, but Byleth's adaptability and skill in battle will give her an edge. I have faith she will not only defend herself but fight with the grace and power of the Ashen Demon. May the light guide her to victory."

Wiz: "Now, Byleth's combat arsenal is nothing short of impressive. She wields several legendary Hero's Relics, including the Blutgang, Areadbhar, and Failnaught—each weapon tied to a Crest that grants her even more power. But her most iconic weapon by far is the Sword of the Creator."
Boomstick: "That's the one that looks like a whippin' chainsword, right? Not only does it slice through enemies with ease, but Byleth can also use it to attack from a distance with whip-like strikes, or channel her magic through it for extra damage. Talk about versatility!"
Wiz: "Speaking of Crests, Byleth possesses the Crest of Flames, inherited from her mother. This Crest gives her several key abilities in battle, like healing herself during combat or preventing an enemy from counterattacking altogether. It's an incredible boon that gives her a significant edge in prolonged fights."
Boomstick: "Yeah, healing while you're kicking someone's butt? Sign me up!"
Wiz: "But that's not all. Byleth is also skilled in both Reason and Faith magic, making her a versatile combatant who can switch between devastating attack spells and life-saving support magic. In particular, her Faith magic allows her to heal herself and her allies, while her Reason magic unleashes powerful offensive spells."
Wiz: "On top of her magic and Crest abilities, Byleth has mastered a wide array of Combat Arts, specialized techniques that allow her to maximize the damage she deals with her various weapons. These arts are tied to specific weapon types, ensuring that Byleth is never at a loss for how to deal with an opponent, no matter what kind of weapon she's using."
Boomstick: "Yeah, she can perform everything from sword strikes that cripple enemies' defenses to ranged bow attacks that pierce through armor. If you're facing Byleth on the battlefield, there's nowhere to hide!"
Wiz: "Byleth's combat prowess doesn't just come from raw power; it also comes from her tactical mind. As a former mercenary and professor at the Officers Academy, she's skilled at reading the battlefield, predicting her enemies' moves, and adapting her strategies to any situation."
Boomstick: "It's no wonder she became such a legendary commander. Not only can she fight like a demon, but she's also one of the smartest warriors in Fodlan. Her students—and enemies—are always in awe of her ability to control the flow of battle."
Wiz: "Though Byleth starts out as emotionally distant, her time at Garreg Mach helps her grow as a person. She forges deep bonds with her students and fellow professors, becoming more emotionally expressive as the story progresses. This character growth not only affects her relationships but also strengthens her resolve in battle."
Boomstick: "Yeah, she might have started out cold as ice, but by the end, she's willing to lay down her life for her students. When Byleth fights, she's not just doing it for herself—she's fighting for everyone she cares about."
Wiz: "One of Byleth's greatest strengths is her sheer versatility. She can switch between multiple weapons, wield powerful magic, and employ a range of tactical Combat Arts to exploit her enemies' weaknesses. She's capable of handling just about any opponent that comes her way."
Boomstick: "And with her Crest of Flames and Sword of the Creator, she can take down even the toughest enemies. You do not want to get on her bad side!"
Wiz: "In the end, Byleth's mastery of weapons, magic, and strategy makes her one of the most formidable fighters in Fire Emblem. Whether she's facing other skilled warriors or even godlike entities, she always finds a way to come out on top."
Boomstick: "If you ever find yourself face to face with the Ashen Demon, you better hope you can rewind time, because otherwise, you're toast!"

Timmy Turner stood in awe. "Whoa! Byleth looks like a medieval warrior, wielding a sword that transforms into a whip! And she teaches, too? That's awesome! I mean, she could probably help me get through school... but seriously, she looks tough. Do you think she can take on this Lumine person? Both of them seem pretty powerful."
Cosmo, ever excited, chimed in. "Did you see that sword? It's all whippy and zappy! Can I get one of those, Wanda? Pleeeease? Oh, and she's super strong, but what's even more amazing is she's a teacher! How does she find time to fight people and teach at the same time? She must be magic!"
Wanda rolled her eyes. "Cosmo, she's not magic, she's just a highly skilled warrior with a tactical mind and legendary weapons. Byleth is incredibly talented, and her Crest powers give her even more of an edge in battle. Between her swordplay and leadership abilities, she's definitely a force to be reckoned with. I think she has a great shot against Lumine!"
Poof, the baby fairy, clapped excitedly. "Poof, poof!" he cooed, happily agreeing with the discussion.
Sparky, who had been eagerly listening, barked with enthusiasm. "Did someone say 'battle'? And a whip sword? Ruff! Count me in! I bet Byleth can take on anything, even giant monsters or people from other worlds! And she's a professor, too? That means she's smart and tough—just like me!"
Timmy sighed, trying to keep the conversation flowing. "Ah... Yeah. Sure thing, Sparky." He said awkwardly, not wanting to ruin Sparky's happy moment this time.

Ru leaned forward thoughtfully. "Byleth is quite the warrior, isn't she? Her Sword of the Creator is a powerful weapon, capable of both long-range and close combat. And her Crest abilities... It reminds me a little of the powerful magical blessings in our world. She has so much potential, not just as a fighter, but as a leader. If she were in our realm, she could easily command a powerful army."
Hiraku Machio scratched his chin, impressed. "Wow, Byleth's life sounds intense! She's a professor, a warrior, and a tactician all rolled into one! That Sword of the Creator is really impressive—being able to switch between modes in battle is super useful. I bet she'd do well if she ever needed to defend a farm! Though, I wonder if she ever gets tired of all that fighting..."
Tia nodded, clearly fascinated by Byleth's abilities. "Her skills are remarkable, especially how her Crest powers enhance her combat abilities. The fact that she teaches while wielding such power? That's impressive! I imagine Byleth is not just a warrior, but someone who can inspire and lead others. It's always admirable when a fighter is more than just their weapons."
Frau, whose experience with warriors was vast, spoke with respect. "Byleth's strength and combat mastery remind me of some of the greatest warriors I've encountered. The combination of strategy, magic, and brute force makes her incredibly versatile, and that's something even dragons respect. Lumine may look powerful, but Byleth's sheer adaptability will make her a tough opponent to beat. Diluc leaned back, pondering. "I wonder why she never told us."
Just then, Venti, still half-drunk, stirred from his stupor and groggily added his two cents. "Well... burp You won't believe everything about her story. After burp all, she was a new girl when she arrived here, you know."
He finished, then collapsed back onto the counter, fast asleep.

Ayato, ever the calm strategist, nodded. "It seems so. From what I've gathered, she hasn't shared her origins with us, likely because she fears we wouldn't believe her."
Thoma paused, considering this. "Perhaps... But she could still tell us the truth, right?"
Before anyone could respond, Ayaka, her gaze distant, spoke up softly. "I can't imagine how lonely Lumine must feel, being so far from home, in a world so different from her own. Yet, her strength and kindness, even in the face of uncertainty, inspire me. We should do everything in our power to help her search for her brother. She is our friend now, and friends stand by each other, no matter how vast the distance between their worlds."
Her voice broke slightly with sympathy. "Her journey is so much more than just an adventure—it's a mission to reunite with family."
Ayaka's words lingered, and Ayato, his usual composure intact, chuckled lightly. "You're right, sister."
Thoma, still pondering, asked, "So, now that we know her goal, how can we help her?"
Ayaka nodded, her resolve firm. "Knowing her true purpose, I believe we should guide her. Perhaps our family's connections across the regions can lead to useful information."
Ayato smiled, his mind already working. "Indeed. We can use our influence to gather intelligence discreetly—without attracting unnecessary attention."

Paimon, ever the worried companion, fluttered anxiously. "Oh, this is bad," she muttered, her expression troubled.
Chasca, always perceptive, studied Lumine carefully. "Is that why you've been keeping your origins a secret?"
Lumine sighed. "Yeah... I mean, it would be crazy to just tell my friends the truth, right?"
Mavuika's expression softened. "Despite your origins, Lumine, you've still helped us fend off the Abyss Order from invading our land. We succeeded, but at the cost of many lives."
Lumine's face fell, guilt creeping into her features. "I wish I could have saved everyone..."
Paimon reached out to comfort her, her small voice soothing. "Lumine..."
To Lumine's surprise, Chasca placed a gentle hand on her shoulder, a gesture of solidarity.
Chasca's voice was heavy with sorrow. "I know how you feel, Lumine. I lost Chuychu, too—though we weren't bound by blood, I loved her like a sister. It pains me that I couldn't save her in time."
Her tone shifted to one of determination. "But I know she'd want me to stay strong, to keep fighting for the people of Natlan. I will honor her memory. And rest assured, Lumine, we will help you find your brother and reunite you both."
Paimon, still unsure about Lumine's situation, hesitated before speaking up. "Well, about that... We found her brother. It's just... well..."
Lumine's expression grew more complex. "It's... complicated."
Chasca gave a soft nod of understanding. "I see. Then, I won't press you further on that."
Mavuika's eyes gleamed with interest. "That aside, I'd like to see how you managed to hold your ground against an opponent from another world. She seemed like a formidable fighter and tactician."

Boomstick: "Yeah, and she's not your typical adventurer either! This girl can kick some serious butt with powers from seven different elements! But before we get into that, let's start with her backstory."
Wiz: "Lumine's journey begins when she and her twin brother try to leave Teyvat, but they're stopped by an unknown god who separates them. As she searches for her brother, Lumine is forced to explore the world, forming alliances and gaining the powers of the elements through Visions. These elemental affinities are granted by the gods of each region."
Boomstick: "Sounds like a classic sibling separation story—but with god powers, which makes everything cooler! Let's break down her looks first, though, because style counts in a fight."
Wiz: "Lumine has a distinct appearance. She has blond hair with two locks framing her face and fiery-gold eyes, hinting at the power she possesses. On top of that, she wears two light-blue In teyvat flowers on her head, adding an almost mystical look."
Boomstick: "Not to mention those pale blue feathers! She's like an elemental warrior crossed with a fairy princess. And that works when you're dealing with multiple elements at once, right?"
Wiz: "Exactly. Now, personality-wise, Lumine is quite complex. She can be humble and compassionate, offering help where it's needed, but she's also shown a bit of a fiery side—boastful, lazy, and even short-tempered when pushed. This duality makes her an unpredictable combatant."

"Lumine's ability to command the power of all seven elements is nothing short of extraordinary. No Vision, yet she wields the elements as if she were born to master them."
She allowed herself a small smirk, folding her arms with quiet satisfaction as she continued to observe. "Such power, in the right hands, could reshape the political landscape of Teyvat. Yet, her ambitions are personal, not political, which only makes her all the more fascinating. Still, it would be wise to maintain favorable relations with her. I have a feeling her influence will extend far beyond mere adventures."

Xianling's eyes widened in surprise as the revelation sank in. "Wait, Lumine's from another world? And she's out here searching for her brother? That's so heartbreaking!" Her excitement mixed with sadness, her hands moving animatedly as she spoke. "But look at her! She's so strong—able to control all the elements like that! No wonder she's been able to help so many along the way!"
Her grin grew wider, her mind racing with ideas. "I bet that means she's tasted food from all over the world. Maybe I could ask her for some recipes! If I could cook something that reminds her of home, it might lift her spirits. I just want to do anything I can to help her while she's on this massive journey!"

Ganyu's soft sigh carried a note of empathy as she thought about Lumine's struggles. "Lumine has endured so much... losing her brother and being torn from her home. I never fully realized the weight of the pain she's been carrying with her," she said, her voice filled with quiet compassion. "And despite everything, she continues to help those around her, asking for nothing in return."
She placed a hand over her heart, her expression thoughtful as her gaze drifted downward. "She is incredibly brave," she murmured, her heart aching for the Traveler's journey. "I need to find a way to assist her. Perhaps we can offer her some comfort while she searches for her brother. No one should have to face such a daunting path alone."
With a soft breath, Ganyu gave a silent vow to support Lumine from afar, her hope lingering that the Traveler would find peace and resolution in the end.

Wiz: "And speaking of battle, let's talk about her arsenal. Lumine is a sword wielder by default, meaning she's skilled in close-quarters combat. But what sets her apart are the elements she commands—seven of them, to be exact."
Boomstick: "Oh yeah, she's like a walking natural disaster. The Visions she can use are: Pyro, Hydro, Electro, Cryo, Geo, Anemo, and Dendro. That's fire, water, electricity, ice, earth, wind, and plant powers for those keeping track."
Wiz: "Each of these elements offers Lumine a strategic advantage in different situations. For example, her Pyro abilities allow her to scorch enemies and deal continuous burning damage, while Hydro can manipulate water to heal allies or trap enemies in a tide of attacks."
Boomstick: "And don't forget about Electro! Zapping her opponents with lightning can disable defenses and fry circuits. Boom! Instant victory."
Wiz: "Her versatility in combat is unmatched because she can switch between these elements on the fly. Cryo, for example, lets her freeze enemies in place, making them easy targets, while Geo allows her to create stone shields for defense or launch powerful rocks as projectiles."
Boomstick: "Man, I wouldn't wanna fight someone who can freeze me, burn me, and hit me with rocks all at once!"
Wiz: "Her Anemo abilities also give her control over wind, allowing her to summon gusts to push back enemies or create whirlwinds that gather foes together for devastating combos. And then there's Dendro, the nature element—although we don't see much of it, its potential for trapping enemies in vines or creating poisonous flora can't be overlooked."
Boomstick: "So basically, she's got something for every situation. Need to get rid of a giant robot? Zap it with Electro! Need to fight an ice monster? Burn it with Pyro! It's like having seven different superheroes in one!"
Wiz: "But Lumine isn't just about raw elemental power. She's also highly skilled in combat techniques. As a swordfighter, her close-combat abilities are sharp and precise. Whether it's rapid sword strikes or heavy attacks, she knows how to wield her weapon with grace and deadly efficiency."
Boomstick: "Yeah, she's no slouch when it comes to getting up close and personal. Don't let that pretty face fool you—she's deadly with a blade!"
Wiz: "Now, one thing to note is that Lumine doesn't have traditional transformation forms like many combatants in Death Battle. She doesn't grow in size or evolve into different versions of herself. Instead, her power comes from mastering multiple elements and adapting them to the situation."
Boomstick: "She doesn't need no fancy transformations when she's basically a one-woman army! If anything, being adaptable is way better in the heat of a Death Battle."
Wiz: "Lumine's adaptability also comes from her ability to fuse elemental attacks for even greater results. For instance, combining Hydro with Electro can create an 'Electro-Charged' effect, damaging enemies over time while stunning them in place."
Boomstick: "Yeah, and if you mix Cryo with Pyro, you can melt your opponents in seconds. Boom—down they go!"
Wiz: "Her combat strategy revolves around using her elements to exploit enemy weaknesses. Whether it's combining elemental reactions like 'Superconduct' or 'Swirl' or summoning powerful elemental bursts, Lumine is a master at turning the battlefield to her advantage."
Boomstick: "Plus, when she's got the ability to heal herself or others using Hydro, she's even tougher to take down. It's like she's her own backup!"
Wiz: "Defensively, Lumine can create shields using Geo to absorb incoming damage, buying her time to regroup or unleash a counterattack. Her combat prowess is enhanced by this strategic depth, giving her a distinct edge in drawn-out battles."
Boomstick: "And if things get really bad, she can always switch to Anemo and blow her enemies away—literally!"
Wiz: "Ultimately, Lumine's greatest strength lies in her versatility and her ability to adapt to nearly any situation with the wide array of elemental powers at her disposal. This allows her to constantly keep her opponents guessing."
Boomstick: "That's why she's a total wildcard in this fight. She's got all the tools she needs to take down even the toughest opponents—just when you think you've got her figured out, she pulls out a new element and wrecks you!"

[Aftermath of Ozai downfall]
Aang's eyes were wide with wonder as he watched the display of Lumine's elemental prowess. "Wow, she can control all those elements? That's incredible!" His voice was filled with awe. "I can bend all four elements, but seven? And the way she switches between them so easily—impressive! It must take an incredible amount of focus and balance to master that much power. I wonder what it would be like to spar with her!"
His excitement was palpable, a gleam of curiosity lighting up his face as he thought about facing someone who wielded not four, but seven elements with such precision.
Katara, always analytical, nodded thoughtfully. "She's got some serious skills. The way she can seamlessly switch between Hydro and the other elements—it gives her a huge advantage in combat." She paused, her expression softening. "But it's not just raw power. She's strategic, too. Using Hydro to heal her allies or control her enemies? That's smart. I wonder how she keeps such tight control, especially in the heat of battle."
Toph snorted, clearly intrigued but not intimidated. "She can throw rocks? Ha! I'd love to see how her Geo abilities stack up against real earthbending." She grinned, a playful challenge in her voice. "Making stone shields and hurling projectiles might sound cute, but I bet she's never met anyone who can bend metal like I can!"
She said this with a smirk, amused at the thought of someone attempting to manipulate earth as well as the people of the Earth Kingdom, still rebuilding after the Fire Nation's destruction.
Zuko, always serious when it came to fire, nodded in approval. "Her Pyro abilities are impressive. Controlling fire that well without losing herself to it takes a lot of discipline. She's got raw power, but it's how she combines the elements that's the real danger. I respect that."
Sokka, always the joker, laughed. "Okay, let's be real here. She's basically a one-person army—fire, ice, lightning, rocks... If I had all that, I would've taken down the Fire Nation in a week! Can you imagine combining all those elements into a boomerang? Now that would be the ultimate weapon!"
His mind raced with wild possibilities, imagining how easy it would be to defeat their enemies with that kind of power at his disposal.
Aang nodded thoughtfully, his expression serious. "You know, she may have all those elements, but it's how she stays calm and uses them together that makes her so strong. We've learned it's not just about bending the elements—it's about harmony and balance. I think Lumine gets that too."
Katara's eyes sparkled with understanding. "Exactly. She doesn't rely on just one power. She uses each element to complement the others. It's almost like a form of bending we've never seen before. She's always adapting, always learning."
Toph uncrossed her arms, her competitive spirit still alive. "I still think I could take her. But yeah, I get it. She's not just some flashy bender—she's smart. She knows how to use what she's got. I respect that."
Zuko, his gaze distant, spoke with quiet respect. "She's more than just strong. She's a tactician. We've all faced tough opponents, but it's her versatility and ability to exploit weaknesses that makes her truly dangerous."
His words were thoughtful, reflecting a deep respect for Lumine's abilities and strategy.
Sokka, ever the comedian, grinned at Aang. "So, Aang, ready to learn seven more elements? You've got some serious catching up to do!"
Aang laughed in response, his trademark optimism shining through. "Maybe I'll stick with mastering the four I've got first."
The group chuckled together, each of them silently acknowledging that no matter how many elements someone controlled, true strength lay in their ability to adapt and learn—something they all had in common.

Wiz: "To summarize, Lumine's combat capabilities stem from her mastery over the seven elements, each offering unique offensive and defensive tactics. Combined with her swordsmanship and strategic mind, she's a force to be reckoned with."
Boomstick: "And if you think you've seen everything she can do, guess again! With so many elements, you never know what she'll pull out next. She's a walking Swiss Army knife with superpowers!"
Wiz: "Will her adaptability and elemental mastery be enough to secure victory in the Death Battle arena? Well, that depends on whether her opponent can handle the chaos she brings."
Boomstick: "One thing's for sure—if you go up against Lumine, you're in for one hell of a fight!"

Marianne, her voice soft but sincere, added, "Um... Byleth, just... do your best, okay? I believe in you. You can handle whatever Lumine throws at you. You're so strong, even if you don't always see it. Just believe in yourself."
Edelgard's tone was firm, filled with unwavering confidence. "Use your experience to anticipate her moves. You have the power to lead us to victory, just as you've done before. Trust your decisions. You will prevail."
Claude leaned in with his usual relaxed demeanor, a spark of excitement in his eyes. "Hey, Byleth! If anyone can handle a walking disaster, it's you. Think of it as another lesson in adaptability. Boomstick: It's time for a Death Battle!
...
Location: Fódlan; The Sealed Forest
In the heart of Fódlan, deep within the shadowy Sealed Forest, Byleth treads carefully. Her sharp instincts, honed from years of battle, keep her on high alert. The dense mist clings to the trees like a living presence, and eerie silence fills the air. The Sealed Forest has long been a place of mystery and danger, where Byleth knows few dare to wander. Her footsteps are measured, cautious, but the silence is soon disturbed.
Suddenly, a blinding light rips through the mist. A portal appears, swirling with energy. Out steps Lumine, the Traveler, golden hair shining in the dimness of the forest. She looks around, visibly confused. Lumine was exploring the domains of Teyvat, but something—no, someone—had brought her here, an entirely foreign world.
Byleth and Lumine's eyes meet across the fog. Two warriors from different worlds, now facing each other in this dark, foreboding place. There is an unspoken tension in the air, as both feel the weight of fate pressing down on them.
"Who are you?" Byleth asks, her voice calm but edged with suspicion as her hand hovers over the hilt of the Sword of the Creator. Lumine's hand instinctively reaches for her sword too, eyes narrowing.
"I could ask the same," Lumine replies, scanning Byleth, her guard up. She quickly assesses her surroundings. This is not Teyvat. "But it seems like neither of us belongs here. I don't want to fight, but if you stand in my way, I won't hold back."
Byleth tightens her grip on her weapon. The aura of the Sealed Forest pulses around them, almost as if the forest itself knows a deadly clash is about to begin. "If you mean harm to my students or this world, I'll stop you here," Byleth says, her gaze fierce and unwavering.
Lumine's golden eyes blaze with determination as she draws her sword, summoning elemental energy. She has faced many foes in her journey, but something about Byleth feels different. "I've faced gods and monsters before. I'll find my way back home, even if I have to cut through you."
Before another word can be exchanged, the ground beneath them trembles as if responding to the rising energy between the two combatants. From the shadows of the trees, strange echoes seem to murmur—almost as if the forest itself is preparing to witness the battle.

Flayn smiled softly, offering a word of encouragement. "Well, professor, do your best."

Paimon's voice was filled with energy as she urged, "Just be ready to engage!"
Lumine gave a determined nod, her resolve firm. "Yeah."

"FIGHT!"
Byleth is the first to strike, unleashing the Sword of the Creator in a quick, slashing arc. The whip-like blade extends, aimed directly at Lumine. Lumine dodges with a burst of Anemo energy, propelling herself upward in a swift gust of wind. She counterattacks mid-air, summoning a Geo construct that slams down from above in an attempt to crush Byleth.
Byleth sidesteps, but the sheer force of the impact shakes the ground. She doesn't let Lumine recover and rushes in, sword swinging. The clashing of their weapons sends sparks flying, and the Sealed Forest rings with the sound of battle. Byleth's movements are precise and deadly, each swing calculated to dismantle her opponent.
Lumine, in contrast, fights with fluidity, switching between elements with finesse. She channels Electro, her blade crackling with energy as she slashes at Byleth. The Ashen Demon parries, but the shock travels up her arm, numbing it briefly. She narrows her eyes, realizing her opponent's versatility.
Lumine backs off, creating distance as she summons Hydro, sending a wave of water crashing toward Byleth. Without hesitation, Byleth calls upon her Aegis Shield, bracing against the oncoming flood. The shield holds, the water splitting around her like a dam parting the seas.
The battle intensifies. Lumine switches elements with each attack, trying to catch Byleth off guard. Pyro flames scorch the earth, Cryo ice crystallizes the air, and Electro bolts crackle through the sky. Yet Byleth adapts with every blow, parrying and countering with her superior combat skills. Her sword's whips lash out, striking Lumine's defenses, keeping her at bay.
With a fierce cry, Byleth leaps into the air, summoning the power of Divine Pulse, slowing time itself. She moves like a shadow, slashing at Lumine's back with the Sword of the Creator. But Lumine, quick on her feet, activates her Dendro Vision, causing thick vines to erupt from the ground, pulling Byleth away and entangling her mid-attack.
"You're strong," Lumine pants, her breath visible in the cold air of the forest. "But you can't stop me."
Byleth's calm facade cracks for a moment as she untangles herself, glaring at Lumine with renewed determination. "I've faced worse." She draws on her Crest, a brilliant aura surrounding her as she rushes forward, shattering the vines around her. In one fluid motion, she slices through the air, her blade aimed at Lumine's heart.
Lumine reacts in a split second, summoning a powerful Geo shield to block the attack. The impact sends tremors through the forest, the sheer force of the blow pushing Lumine back. Her shield cracks under the pressure, and she knows she can't hold out much longer.

Alois leaned forward, his voice brimming with enthusiasm. "Look at that! Byleth is already making an impressive start! Just remember to keep your guard up—Lumine seems like a slippery opponent. Let's go, Byleth! You can do this! I'm rooting for you!"
Seteth stood tall, his tone calm yet firm. "Maintain your composure, professor. Lumine is adaptable, but so are you. Observe her tactics closely and exploit any weaknesses you find. Your training will carry you through this. Stay focused and decisive!"
Bernadetta gasped, her nerves evident as she anxiously wrung her hands. "Oh my gosh! It's so intense! I-I hope Byleth stays safe! She's so strong, but Lumine has all those elements! Just... just keep moving, Byleth! You can do it! I believe in you!"
Rhea's voice was steady, filled with unwavering faith. "Fight with honor, Byleth! Trust in your skills. You've faced countless challenges, and I have faith in your strength. Show them the true might!"

...
The clash continues as both combatants grow more desperate, their strikes heavier, more ruthless. Lumine summons a Hydro wave, hoping to overwhelm Byleth, but the Ashen Demon counters with a devastating Combat Art, splitting the wave in two. In a last-ditch effort, Lumine switches to Electro, hoping the raw energy will overwhelm Byleth's defenses.
But Byleth, using her tactical prowess, sees the opening. She counters with Areadbhar, the lance tearing through Lumine's elemental shield, finally hitting its mark. Lumine gasps in pain, blood spilling as she stumbles back, wounded.
"No..." Lumine whispers, her vision blurring as she drops to her knees, her energy fading.
Byleth walks toward her, sword still drawn. There is no malice in her eyes, only resolve. "You fought well," she says softly. And with one swift motion, the Sword of the Creator strikes the final blow, ending Lumine's life in a brilliant flash of light.
The forest falls silent, and as the dust settles, Byleth stands victorious.
KO!

The battle concluded with Byleth's triumphant victory, sparking an eruption of excitement among all who knew her. In Fodlan, the streets filled with celebrations, as their champion's success was hailed with joy and pride. Meanwhile, Lumine's friends, though feeling a pang of shame over her loss, stood firm in their support. They remained unwavering in their belief in her, offering encouragement for the journey that lay ahead—her quest to reunite with her brother and discover the answers she sought across the world.

Boomstick: The scene shifts to Boomstick and Wiz, standing in their signature Death Battle arena, the aftermath of the intense battle behind them. "Well, folks, what a fight that was! We just witnessed an epic showdown between Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Lumine from Genshin Impact. And when the dust settled, Byleth came out on top!"
Wiz: "That's right, Boomstick! Both combatants displayed incredible skills and versatility. Lumine showcased her ability to manipulate multiple elements—Pyro, Hydro, Electro, and more—allowing her to adapt her strategy mid-battle. Her quick thinking and agility made her a formidable opponent."
Boomstick: "Absolutely! I mean, she was flipping around like a pro gymnast, dodging attacks and countering with elemental bursts. But let's not forget Byleth's incredible combat experience and tactical prowess. She's trained to take down powerful foes with precision."
Wiz: "Exactly! Byleth is not just a powerful warrior; she's a master tactician. Her use of the Sword of the Creator gave her a significant advantage, allowing her to strike from a distance and switch forms in the heat of battle. She could also utilize Combat Arts to enhance her attacks, providing extra damage when it mattered most."
Boomstick: "Plus, Byleth's ability to slow down time with Divine Pulse gave her the upper hand in crucial moments. That was a game changer! It allowed her to anticipate Lumine's moves and counter them effectively, ultimately leading to that decisive blow."
Wiz: "Lumine's elemental shield was impressive, but Byleth's raw power and combat experience proved too much for her. Byleth effectively used her skills and weapons to exploit weaknesses in Lumine's defenses. When Lumine was injured, Byleth capitalized on that opportunity and finished the fight."
Boomstick: "In the end, Byleth's superior training, adaptability, and tactical intelligence triumphed over Lumine's elemental versatility. It was a hard-fought battle, but Byleth showed why she's the Ashen Demon!"
Wiz: "And that's the takeaway here: experience and strategy often trump raw power in these kinds of battles. Byleth not only had the skills but the brains to back them up. Truly a masterclass in combat."
Boomstick: "So there you have it! Another thrilling fight concluded, and another victory for Byleth! Who knows who we'll see next time in the Death Battle arena? Until then, stay tuned for more epic matchups!"
