Omen sat in his bed quickly and he was breathing heavily, he had a nightmare again. What happened in Omen's dreams always changed at least a little but he hated all of them, they were never pleasant. Omen took several minutes to calm down before he stood up and decided to take a shower.

The hot water calmed him down and when he left the bathroom he checked the time. He had about two hours until the young heroes would start showing up that the mountain. He didn't know why but Batman insisted that he go to the mountain just like the others, he wasn't even part of the team!

Omen got dressed and made himself some breakfast before he started watching Doctor Who. When it was time to go to the mountain he turned off the TV and practically dragged himself off of the couch. He teleported outside the mountain and snuck in, Omen hacked into the mountains systems and left a present for the heroes.

He was surprised that none of them had shown up yet, the only ones there were the two that lived in the mountain. When Aqualad walked in and it announced his number instead of the name Omen gave him he was surprised. When the other two heard it they were just as shocked, it had been over a week and Batman hadn't been able to change the names back.

When Kid Flash walked into the mountain he actually jumped when it just said his number. Artemis had a look of disbelief when she heard it and actually left again before coming back two seconds later. When Batman and Robin walked in they were also shocked, Batman hadn't changed the names back so he was confused.

All of the heroes went to meet him and Robin gave Batman a confused look, "Did you change the names back?"

"No, someone else did." Batman said.

Omen laughed eerily, "Not just anyone Batsy."

Batman raised an eyebrow, "You changed the names back?"

Omen made the lights flicker and he suddenly appeared with his hands in his pockets. "I have reasons for everything I do Batman, I did change the names back but you'll never know why."

Batman felt a strong urge to face palm, "Let's move on for now, the team has a mission." Omen had to force himself not to roll his eyes as he listened to what the mission was, apparently some dumb ass had escaped prison. The team was supposed to find the guy and bring them back to jail, well this was just great.

Here's the kicker, it's Joker, a clown broke out of prison and Batman couldn't deal with it because he had to protect Gotham. Joker ran off to god knows where and the team had to find him and take him down so he could go back to prison. If Omen had gotten a job to kill Joker he would have taken it in a heartbeat, that guy was worse then Omen.

When Batman was done telling them about the mission Omen mentally sighed, "I'll be heading home then."

Batman raised an eyebrow, "You're going with them Omen."

The ghost teen looked at Batman like he was crazy, "I'm not even a part of this team."

"You're back up, once all of you are ready to go you need to find Joker and catch him." Batman left the mountain and Omen face palmed, the team went to get ready and Omen literally fell backward on the ground and just laid there. Robin immediately noticed that Omen hadn't followed them and he went to see what he was doing.

When Robin saw Omen lying on his back on the floor he raised an eyebrow and walked over to him. "Are you okay Omen?"

Omen had a neutral look on his face, "Let me die, leave me here to waste away in peace."

Robin laughed a little and grabbed Omen's hands before pulling him up, "Not happening." Omen got up and Robin looked around and kissed him quickly before he started to walk out of the room. Omen walked behind him and everyone went to get ready for the mission while Omen snuck out of the mountain and went home to get his laptop.

Omen went back to the mountain before anyone realized that he was gone and he did some digging. Omen was so glad that he had a lot of contacts, he had to be an assassin to get them but they were useful. When the team was done getting ready Omen was still typing on his laptop and checking a few things.

The team saw him working and Aqualad was the first to speak, "What are you doing Omen?"

"Looking for Joker, it's easy if you know who to talk to and where to look." Omen typed a few more lines before he closed the laptop, "And I know where he is." Everyone had shocked looks on their faces and Omen chose to ignore them and he stood up, "I'll be back."

Omen made the lights flicker and he quickly left the mountain and teleported before he put his laptop in his room at home. He was back at the mountain within a few minutes and the team left not long after that. Omen had to tell them Joker's exact location and when they finally got there Omen sat back as they made a plan.

Omen tuned them out as he let his mind wonder, he had thoughts running through his head a lot these days. Of course that was understandable considering everything that's happened to him in his life. He had a lot to think about, it was only a matter of time before the White Organization attacked to try and take him back to the facility.

He didn't want to go back but he would if the others were in danger, Robin already was. He wanted to go back for that exact reason, the only reason he didn't was because he wanted to stay with his little bird. He hadn't escaped before because Robin was in danger but now that the heroes knew about what happened they wouldn't let him go back.

Robin had already told him that he didn't want Omen to go back so Omen had decided to stay. There was always a chance that Omen would have to go back but he'd do everything he could not to. It sucked that life hates him though, he'd have to go back because life liked messing with him and making him suffer.

Omen was pulled from his thoughts when Aqualad spoke, "We're here."
