Omen had another job, it was in a city somewhere near Metropolis, it wasn't to hard. There was some guy producing a new drug that already had a lot of demand, it was also incredibly dangerous. He had to kill the guy that was making it, if he did then it would be pretty damn hard for people to make it on their own.

Just as Omen was about to make the light flicker that team working for the Justice League showed up. Omen shrugged, he'd do his job whether they were here or not, he just wished the little Robin wouldn't have to see it. Omen decided to try and freak out the team a bit, he laughed eerily and made the lights flicker.

Once the light stopped flickering he appeared and his target, nicknamed Mad Scientist, called his men. "He's here, kill him!" The men started shooting at Omen and the assassin looked neutral as he took out his swords. He deflected the bullets with his swords and when they were out of bullets he put them back in their sheaths.

Omen took out his knife and quickly slit his targets throat, the cut was so quick that there wasn't any blood on his knife. His target fell to the ground and everyone stared for a split second before the team tried to capture Omen. It was rather sad really, it wasn't even hard for Omen to beat them, again, and once they were down the lights flickered.

Omen had disappeared once again and the team once again saw that they were all alive. Now Robin was really confused, this guy showed up, seemed to kill specific people, and disappeared again. Who was this guy and why did he remind Robin so much of his best friend?

Once the team got back to Mt. Justice Robin went home and thought about his friend. He hadn't seen Danny in six years, before he disappeared Danny would always find a way to see him no matter where he was. He had first met him while he was still in the circus, he had been six when he first met Danny.

Ever since then Danny would show up, even if they were traveling, Robin could never figure out how he could disappear and reappear whenever he wanted to. He still couldn't figure it out, he was a mystery no matter what you did, you'd only find him if he wanted you to.

Danny always showed up at night after everyone was asleep or when no one was around. He'd talk to Robin for hours before he'd say goodbye and disappear again, he was good at not leaving a trace. Then Batman, or rather Bruce, knocked on his door and he said it was open.

Bruce walked in and looked at Robin, or Richard, seriously, "The team told me you ran into that kid again."

"Yeah, he killed one guy before we tried to catch him but he got away, he disappeared just like last time."

Bruce nodded, "Did you notice anything new about him?"

"He had some weapons that he didn't have last time but that was the only new thing about him."

Bruce thought for a moment, "It's difficult to find anything on this guy, I can't even find a name." The guy was good, there was no questioning that, they needed to catch this guy before he killed even more people. Meanwhile Omen had collected the money and was going back to where he needed to be.

While he was jumping across rooftops and enjoying the freedom he only got when he was out to do a job he thought for a bit. The people that had bought him when he was a kid and were forcing him to kill used to be part of the government. Someone tried to shut them down and they got angry so now they work secretly so they can continue their work.

They were shut down because their work was inhumane, Omen could tell you that inhumane didn't even begin to describe how bad it was. The bastards had experimented on him and tortured him, they were trying to break him. They wanted to turn him into a mindless killing machine that they could control and use whenever they wanted to.

Look how well that turned out, he was a skilled assassin but he didn't do this because he wanted to. They couldn't get him to kill anyone they wanted, that's why they decided to have him become a hired killer. He got paid for all of the jobs he did and they got the money so they could keep running.

Omen basically funded their whole operation, it sucked since all of their resources went towards studying him. Omen eventually reached the underground facility and he dropped off the money before going to his cell. It sucked that they decided to do the experiments mere minutes after he laid down on his bed.

It took eight hours for them to stop this time, if he was right then it was technically morning. I was about eight or nine o'clock in the morning, Omen had found out something interesting. He had been thinking about it for a while, the superhero kids were hiding out in Mt. Justice.

One of his contractors had given him the information so they wouldn't have to pay as much. They had also given Omen information on the team members, Omen was going to figure out their secret identities later that day. Omen was incredibly smart and had a lot of resources, he could find out who they are in less than an hour.

Maybe Omen would pay a visit to the kids, just to freak them out, he'd feel a little bad if the bird got scared though. Omen shrugged, he hung out with Batman so if he couldn't handle a little scare then he'd be surprised.
