Delta's POV

Tech gives Omega and I comm device each. "They aren't exact fits" he tells us.

"I get my own comm device?" Omega asks.

"Technically, yours was Crosshair's, but he doesn't appear to need it" Tech tells her. "Yours was a spare" he tells me and I smile.

"Echo, what's your position? Over" Omega says.

"It's not a toy Omega" Echo tells her.

"Copy that" she says into the comm and I roll my eyes.

"Why are we going to Ord Mantell?" I ask Tech.

"I thought the plan was to lay low" Omega adds and I nod my head in agreement.

"Not while a bounty hunter's after you two. We need to find out why" Hunter tells us. That makes sense and I would like to know the answer myself.

"I know an informant there named Cid who might be able to help" Echo tells us.

"And you trust him?" Wrecker asks.

"Well, the Jedi trusted him" Echo tells him.

"The Jedi who are all dead?" Tech asks as he gets to his feet.

"Well, anyone have a better option?" Echo asks.

"He has a point" Omega says with her comm. We all look at her. "Right. Not a toy" she says sheepishly.

"Be sure to keep a close eye on here Delta" Tech tells me. I nod my head. We soon reach Ord Mantell and land safely. The guys suit up and we leave the ship.

"Remember the rules?" Hunter asks Omega and I.

"Don't wonder off" Omega says.

"Keep our eyes and ears on our surroundings" I add.

"Trust no one but our squad" we finish.

"And if you get into trouble?" Echo asks.

"Use our comms and give our location" Omega answers.

"What she said" I add.

"This is the place" Echo says as we reach a bar.

"Charming" Tech says. We enter it and the guys remove their helmets. I see two guys arguing about cheating and a woman cleaning.

"Which one of them is Cid?" Hunter asks Echo.

"I couldn't tell ya. I only heard about Cid. Never actually met him" Echo explains.

"That would have been information to share earlier" Tech tells him. Hunter goes over to the woman cleaning.

"We're looking for Cid. You know him?" Hunter asks her.

"Cid, huh?" she asks. "Nope, doesn't ring a bell" she answers and I share a look with Omega.

"I think Cid is a she" I whisper and she nods her in agreement.

"What about them?" Hunter asks gesturing to the men fighting.

"Was I not clear? You're in the wrong place. So unless you're here to spend money, get lost" she tells him. She has spunk, then I guess she'd need it run a place like this. While the guys talk, Omega and I head over to the woman.

"Hello ma'am, I'm Delta this is my sister Omega" I tell her.

"You're Cid" Omega adds.

"You're sharper than your friends over there" Cid compliments us.

"Delta and I found Cid" Omega comms the boys and they look at us.

"Cid's a woman, not a man" I tell them shrugging  Omega points at Cid. She takes us all to her office.

"I had a good thing going with the Jedi. They valued my insights, but now that they're all dead, the demand for my services has declined. Thanks to this new Empire" Cid explains.

"Times have changed for all of us" Hunter tells her.

"No kidding. I never had clone deserters come to me before" she states.

"Yes, well, we separated due to a fundamental difference in ideology" Tech tells her.

"That's putting it mildly" I tell him.

"That's cute, you thinking I care" Cid tells us. "Cut to it and tell me what you want" she tells us. Echo plugs into her holo-projector. Bringing up the image of the bounty hunter we encountered.

"We encountered this woman on Pantora" Echo tells her.

"Do you know who she is?" Hunter asks.

"No, but I know a bounty hunter when I see one" Cid states.

"Can you find out who hired her?" Echo asks her.

"That depends on what you boys do for me" she states. "Are you fresh outta the tube? You pull a job for me, and I get the information you want. That's how this mercenary thing works" she explains.

"Mercenary?" Echo asks.

"Not too quick, are ya? Clearly, the kids the brains of your operation" Cid states. We make a deal to save a kid from some Zygerrians, in exchange for intel on the bounty hunter. We then return to our ship and head to the other side of the planet, where the kid is being held.

Wrecker still has a headache, but assures us he is fine. Omega asked what a slave trader was and Tech answered. She was surprised and said it wasn't right. Which we all agreed with. Which is why we're saving the kid, not just for the credits and intel. But because it's the right thing to do.

Omega and I were supposed to stay on the ship. Though things don't go quite according to plan. For one thing, the guys got captured. Omega and I were nearly caught also, but managed to avoid capture. We tried to comm  the others and got no reply.

Also Cid forgot to tell us the kid Muchi is a juvenile rancor. And there were other hostages as well. But we managed to free them all. Thanks to Muchi's help. Omega & I even got our own weapons. An energy bow each. Though I prefer hacking and gathering information. We take Muchi back to Cid and she is returned to her rightful owner.

We got our payment and intel. Though Cid wasn't able to find out much on the bounty hunter. Her name is Fennec Shand. She's new to the scene but has already proven herself to be cunning and ruthless. Cid couldn't find out who hired her though. According to her sources in the Guild say she's working on a direct commission.

Cid says we'll need friends and money. Especially money if we want to stay safe from the bounty hunter. She said we could work for her and she'd have our back. Hunter told Cid he'd think about it. Cid assured him, she is good with secrets. Before he came back and we go back to the ship. Where he told us everything Cid said and he discussed what to do with the others.

Omega and I just kept to ourselves. I was researching our new weapon, how they work, and she was painting my doll. She'd painted her's earlier.
