Third Persons POV

Omega and Delta had inspected every corner of the ship with Wrecker. And they had all fallen asleep. Wrecker and Omega on the floor. And Delta sleeping at the console she had been reading at. "Well this is a first" Hunter states as he looks at them with Echo.

"Inspecting every corner of the ship finally tired them out" Echo tells him.

"Yeah, they're curious. I'll give them that" Hunter states.

"Hunter, they are children. What are we gonna do with them?" Echo asks him. Though he had noticed Delta getting close to Tech and Omega to Hunter. It'd be dangerous if they remained with the team. Tech announces that they're coming up on Saleucami.

(Saleucami) Delta's POV

Omega woke me up after the ship landed. I notice the others leave the ship and we followed. We looked around in awe at the world around us. We kneel down and inspect the ground. Picking up brown powder. "What is this?" Omega asks them.

"That would be dirt" Tech tells her.

"It's amazing" Omega states as I draw a line in the dirt with my foot. She does the same and we laugh. We've never seen anything link this before.

"Tag, you're it" I say pushing Omega. I take off.

"Oh I'll get you for that!" she shouts and runs after me. We laugh and play tag. Staying in view of the others. We soon got distracted by the plants and animals around us. I rush over to Tech and grab his hand.

"What can you tell me about this planet?" I ask him.

"Saleucami, is a temperate world with a mix of environments including arid deserts and swamps. It's located in the Outer Rim in the Saleucami system in the Suolriep sector" he states.

"So this friend of yours, what's he doing all the way out here?" Echo asks him.

"Hiding. That's what deserters do" Tech tells him.

"Staying off the radar's not our specialty, but he's been doing it for years" Hunter adds.

"And you trust a deserter?" Echo asks sceptical.

"Why wouldn't they?" I ask him.

"She's right. We're all deserters now" Tech reminds him. We reached a fenced area and Hunter has us stop. He grabbed Omega as she wasn't really paying attention. Omega and I look at the trip wire on the ground.

"What are we looking at?" Omega asks.

"A booby trap" Hunter tells her.

"A single trip wire, cute" Wrecker says as he steps over it. He steps through a laser and droids spring up. "Whoa!" he shouts and shots at them.

"Easy, Wrecker!" Hunter shouts and Wrecker stands down.

"Was that me?" Wrecker asks. As a purple twi'lek woman and an older clone appear. With guns pointing at us.

"What do we have here? More clones who have lost their way" the woman states.

"It's been a while, fellas" the clone states. They take us to their home. "I see a few new faces" he says as he sits down.

"Delta, Echo and Omega. Cut and Suu" Hunter says introducing us.

"Pleased to meet you" Suu says.

"Ma'am" Echo says nodding his head.

"Where's Crosshair?" Cut asks Hunter.

"It's complicated" Hunter tells him.

"Sounds familiar" Cut states. "

Rex told us about the clone troopers turning against the Jedi" he tells us.

"You talked to Rex? When?" Echo asks.

"Well, he passed through yesterday" Cut tells him.

"Where did he go?" Echo asks.

"Didn't ask" Cut answers. "He was going on about some behavioral implant" he states.

"He must mean the inhibitor chip" Omega and I state together.

"The what?" Hunter asks us.

"Inhibitor chips" Omega tells him.

"The Kaminoans implanted them in the clones to modify their behavior" I explain.

"Tech, you said the regs were programmed but you never mentioned a chip" Hunter states.

"How else did you think it worked?" Tech and I ask him together. Just then two kids appears. Calling Cut dad and Suu mum.

"There's a ship outside" the boy states.

"Shaeeah, Jek! Remember me?" Wrecker asks the pair.

"Uncle Wrecker!" they cheer as he lifted Shaeeah up. When he puts her down. She notices Omega and I. She asks who we are.

"Omega and Delta" Omega tells her shyly. We had never been around other kids. Unless you counted the cadets on Kamino. But we never interacted with them.

"We never see kids around here, come with us" Shaeeah says taking Omega's hand. As Jek grabbed mine. They start to lead us outside. But Omega looks back at Hunter and I Tech. They nod their heads and we go outside with the kids.

They grabbed a ball and started tossing it to each other. "What's the purpose of this?" Omega asks them.

"To have fun" Shaeeah answers. "Here, you try" she says tossing the ball to Omega. Who dodged it.

"You're supposed to catch it" Jek tells her and retrieved the ball. "Your turn Delta" he says tossing the ball to me. I catch it and land on my bum. I look up at them and we all laugh. I get to my feet and toss the ball to Shaeeah. She tosses it to Omega, who catches it this time.

"I caught it!" she cheers. She tosses it to me and I toss it to Jek. Who tosses it to back to Shaeeah. We all continue to play. Until Omega accidentally tosses the ball over the fence. "I got it" she states and goes to get it. But Jek stops her.

"It's passed the fence, we'll get it later" Jek tells her.

"Jek! Come inside. We have to finish packing" Shaeeah tells him.

"Need help?" I ask her.

"No, we got it" she assures me. As Jek joins us.

"It's still early" he whines to his older sister.

"Inside, now" Shaeeah tells him.

"Where's Omega?" I ask him.

"She was right behind me" he states as we looked around for my sister. We notice her outside the fence. I notice a nexu sneaking up on her.

"Omega!" I shout and go to run to here. But Jek and Shaeeah hold me back.

"Omega, don't move!" Shaeeah shouts. Jek holds onto me as Shaeeah went to get her parents. "Mom, it's Omega! She went out past the fence!" she shouts.

"Let me go!" I shout. Suddenly Tech picks me up. "I have to get to my sister" I tell him scared for her.

"Shush, she'll be alright. Hunter and Suu will take care of it" he assures me. We watched them save Omega. She is brought back to the safety inside the fence.

"What were you doing out there? Do you realize you could've been k*ll?" Hunter demands. Omega just hugs the ball.

"Easy. She's not a soldier" Cut tells him. He kneels down in front of Omega. "Are you hurt?" he ask as Tech sets me down. I rush over to my sister.

"I'm sorry. I-I was trying to get the ball. I didn't know" Omega whimpers.

"I'm just glad you're ok" I tell her as Cut picks her up.

"You're safe. That's all that matters. Come on" he says. He heads over to Suu; Jek, Shaeeah and I follow him.

"Hey kid, you alright?" Wrecker asks.

"She'll be fine" Cut assures him and we go inside. Cut then took Omega and I pack to the ship. Where we stayed. We sat in the pilot chair together. Me with an arm around her.

"I'm sorry Omega" I tell her.

"It wasn't your fault, I should of listened to Jek" she states. I look at her and smile. Taking her hair piece off. "What are you doing?" she asks confused as I remove mine as well.

"Now we look like kids" I tell her and she smiles. I hear two others board the ship and signal her to be quiet. I recognize the voices of Echo and Tech.

"It's ironic. Clones wanted names instead of numbers, yet now people are signing up to be given numbers" Echo states.

"It's ingenious" Tech tells him. "You could create a database to identify anyone in the galaxy" he explains. He's right, that's why the Kaminoins gave the clones numbers.

"Glad you're impressed, but where are we going to find the data for these chain codes? And the disks?" Echo asks him.

"Already thought of that. Clones now control the spaceport. There we can tap into their network and replicate the codes" Tech explains.

"Then what?" Echo asks him.

"Hunter said they're tagging ships inside their impound facility. That is our way in" Tech tells him. It's smart, but dangerous.

"You're suggesting we call the authorities and have them seize our ship?" Echo asks him.

"That is exactly what I am saying" Tech tells him.

"I guess if they think it's abandoned, that just might work" Echo states. They call the authorties. Before telling Hunter the plan as the ship is taken. Hunter did not sound happy.

"This was the simplest solution" Tech tells him.

"Getting our ship impounded is not my idea of a solution" Hunter tells him.

"We'll meet you at the spaceport with the chain codes. I have this under control" Tech assures him. As Omega and I peak out from behind the chair we're on.

"You have one big problem, make that two big problems" Hunter tells him. "Omega and Delta are on the ship" he states. Tech and Echo finally notice us.

"We think it's a good plan Tech" we tell him.

"So much for simple" Echo says. They open a panel on the roof. They hoist Omega and I up into it. Before following. Echo gathering Omega and Tech me. We feel the ship land and here clones below. When the ghost was clear. We came out of hiding. Echo catching Omega and Tech me, before setting us down.

"So far, so good" I state.

"So how can we help?" Omega asks Tech.

"You've had enough action for today. We'll handle this" Echo tells us.

"Go to the security kiosk. Scomp in, copy the data and grab the blank disks for me to program" Tech tells Echo.

"Roger that" Echo says before leaving. Omega and I stay with Tech on the ship. "I don't see any discs Tech" he coms in.

"They'll be locked in a safe compartment" Tech tells him.

"Found them" Echo tells him.

"Excellent" Tech says. Echo returns safely and Tech starts to code the chips. While Echo goes to unclamp us.

"Tech, we're in the spaceport. What is your status?" Hunter asks.

"In progress" Tech tells him. "The encryption shouldn't be a problem" he assures Hunter.

"Hurry up. We need those chain codes to get them on the shuttle, or we're going to have to blast our way out of here" Hunter tells him as Tech finishes the last one.

"Don't worry. I can slip through security unnoticed and deliver the disks to you momentarily" Tech tells him. Just then an alert sounds. Echo and Tech go to see what's wrong. Omega and I grab the six discs & slip out of the ship. At least the impound yard is next to the space port. But we just have to slip pass the clones guarding the yard.

We were so focused on avoiding clones though. That we didn't think about any other dangers. And Omega ran into an astro-droid. It starts to whirl and beep loudly. "No, don't do that!" Omega shouts. Suddenly a large fist hits it.

"That hit the spot!" Wrecker states as it stops beeping.

"Wrecker, we could use some help over here" Echo calls for him over the comm.

"On my way" Wrecker assures him. "They're waiting for you both at the dock. Better get going" he tells us. Omega and I nod our heads. We climbed the short wall and took off towards the space port.

"We're here!" I shout as Omega and I finally joined Hunter, Cut & his family at the space port. "And we have the chain codes" I add lowly. As Omega handed them to Cut.

"Tech accidentally made six disks instead of four" Omega adds.

"You didn't tell them?" Cut asks Hunter.

"Tell us, what?" I ask with Omega confused.

"The extra chain codes' are for you two, so you both can leave with Cut and Suu" Hunter tells us.

"Why? Did we do something wrong?" Omega asks him.

"What does Tech say about this?" I ask him.

"You need a family, kids. They're good people. They'll give you both the life you deserve" he tells us.

"But..." we go to protest. "We want to stay with you" we tell him.

"You have to go, Delta and Omega. It's for your own good" he tells us. Before leaving. We join Cut and Suu as the chain codes are scanned.

"You're clear, go on through" the clone trooper scanning the discs tells us. Cut takes them back and we head for the shuttle. Omega and I look back at Hunter to see him on the comm. He then runs for the impound.

"Ready?" Suu asks us placing a hand on Omega's shoulder. Omega and I look up at her. Then at Hunter's retreating form then each other. We knew our decision. It'd be great to be part of a family and have a normal life. But we left Kamino with the Bad Batch and we wanted to stay with them.

"We're sorry" Omega tells them.

"Thank you for everything" I add before we took off. We run back to the impound yard. We arrive to see them boarding the ship.

"Wait for us!" Omega shouts. Hunter and Wrecker lay down cover fire. As we boarded the ship, they follow and we take off. Omega goes to talk to Hunter, while I walked over to Tech. I whack him in the head.

"What was that for?" he asks me.

"For trying to leave us behind, family don't do that to each other" I tell him. "Omega and I left Kamino with you guys. And we want to stay with you" I state. He sighs. "So where to next?" I ask.

"Don't know, that's up to Hunter" he states. "But at least Cut and his family got on the shuttle safely. And we got away also" he says. "I do know one thing though, if there's ever a call fro help. We'll be there" he tells me. I smile as we enter hyperspace.
