" if I was told that I was going to be the driver then I would have reconsidered" I muttered under my breath as I drove my car. My knuckles turned white as I glanced at jinyoung from the back view mirror. 

"You insisted, not our fault" Mark huffed and looked jinyoung didn't say anything just stared out of the window. He is clearly affected. It's his mom, obviously. I thought. 

The reason why I wanted to come, so I could be with jinyoung but these omegas played me. I am fucking driver and he sitting at the back.  I can't even look at him properly without facing my death. I huffed and leaned back. 

It's a five hour drive and it will be a death of me but to see how the fuck Jackson got to know about this? What was he doing in Busan? I felt my eyes squinting at the thought of this dickhead. 

"jaeboem stop the car in the next gas station, I have to use washroom" I heard baekhyun say from the back and nodded. All three sat at the back leaving me like a driver. I am a fucking heir of Im industries. Things I have to go through to get my hands on an omega. 

I mentally cursed my stupid self and made sure to stop the car when the gas station comes. Jinyoung is quiet for so long, if the situation was different he would have eaten their ears but look at him sitting like a sad panda. 

He must be close to them. He is not even moving or just simply breathing. I noticed. 

I have no idea what's going in his mind. Maybe his parents or him. I hope it's nothing serious, Jinyoung has faced many things in college so better keep this fair to him. 

"stop the car" I heard baekhyun and quickly showing the left indicator, I pulled my car and stopped near the gas station. 

"I am going to the washroom, if anyone wants to tag along, they can," Baekhyun announced and I rolled my eyes. 

"me! I'll come with you. It's an unknown area" I heard Mark stepping out of the car leaving Jinyoung alone. I sat there awkwardly while Jinyoung looked outside. The air conditioner cooled down the heat in the car and leaned back not knowing what to do. Suddenly my eyes went to my mini refrigerator. 

"Jinyoung" I called, I was hesitating. What if he was not in the mood? I thought. 

"yes, jaebeom?" I heard his sweet voice and it lifted off an unknown burden from my heart. 

"do you want this?" I asked as I showed him the can of black grape juice. I didn't get any answer but felt his fingers brushed against mine as he took the can. 

"Thank you" he mumbled. I felt my ears go hot in front of the cool air blowing. Gosh, what the fuck is happening to me? 

I bit my tongue and looked outside the window to see them running back to the car. 

"God! The bathroom was so dirty" I heard Mark complain and stopped when his eyes landed on Jinyoung's hand. Please don't ask who gave. I prayed internally and then the question popped up. 

"where did you get that jinyoung?" Mark asked suspiciously, his eyes burning holes in my head and stayed calm as I ignited my car. 

"Jaebeom gave me" His voice sounded so pretty when he took my name. I clenched my jaws and glared at the road while they only made oh sound from their mouth. 

Fuckin omegas.

"Jaebeom" The alpha stopped while unloading the bags. He realised it was only Jinyoung who was left. He gave a glance to the other two who were out of sight. 

"yes?" he asked, his eyes landing on the small figure fidgeting in front of him. 

"Thank you for that. It really helped me" he said, timidly. He was a sucker for juices and when jaebeom gave him that black grape juice, it was a heartwarming act. If he was a little, he would have drank in the sippy cup. 

"oh! It's fine, I can give you more" jaebeom grinned. He felt like a teenager. Jinyoung smiled and squeezed his hand into a fist. He can't make grabby hands in here to hug him. 

" thank you, I really appreciate that. Come, let's go in. Mommy's surgery is over, ''Jinyoung said. Just a small smile from the alpha and a warm gesture was enough for Jinyoung to lighten his mood. He was feeling low and negative but the way Jaebeom acted made Jinyoung feel better. 

Jaebeom nodded and started to walk behind jinyoung. He wanted to respect the omega's space and he let him walk ahead. Jinyoung's round head with the lean body was so pretty that jaebeom didn't mind following him. 

Jaebeom saw that the two omegas waited at the reception while jinyoung stood there waiting for someone. Before Jaebeom could say, he saw Jackson making his way to them. In seconds he was beside Jinyoung and gave a side hug to his friend. 

"s-she just came out of the surgery. She is asleep. Jinyoung, I am sorry that you had to go through this" Jackson patted Jinyoung shoulder and looked at jaebeom way. 

One glance and jaebeom knew something else was there too. He excused himself from the omegas and walked with Jackson to the other side of the area. 

"The police are here. They are asking questions and they believe that it was not just an accident" Jackson whispered and Jaebeom's eyebrows furrowed. 

"what do you mean— Excuse me, I am senior officer Choi Minho" jaebum was cut off when he felt a tap on his shoulders. 

He turned around and his eyes fell on the man who gave his unrequited introduction. As soon as their eyes met, Choi Minho gave a look to Jaebeom and clicked his tongue. 

"Mr. Im's son. Im Jaebeom" he smiled and jaebeom just nodded. What was he supposed to do? Dance like crazy that he was well known? 

"I heard that this was not an actual accident?" jaebeom questioned, with each other coming out with a hiss. He was pissed. This hurt Jinyoung so much and now he gets to know that it was a perfectly planned shit. 

"Yes, sir. That's what we think. We are taking up this case and checking the CCTV cameras. Do you want me to talk to your father about this?" inspector Choi asked and jaebeom shook his head. 

"this is not about him. Don't involve him, let him rest" he said and the police nodded. 

" one more thing, give me the car number. I'll send my private investigator for this, ''Jaebeom ordered and Inspector Choi nodded. 

The police already took information from Jackson and waited for the family and once they collected enough information, they left. 

"Why are the police here?" jaebeom was questioned as soon as he reached the circle. Jinyoung's bambi  looked at the alpha innocently and jaebeom couldn't help but ruffle Jinyoung's hair. 

"Because it was an accident and they wanted to see the patient" Jaebeom lied sweetly and gave a look to Jackson to not spill any words. 

"oh, so they met mommy?" jinyoung asked and jaebeom nodded. Seeing this, jinyoung pouted. 

"when will I meet her? I want to see her" Jinyoung's bottom lip quivered and tears dwell in his eyes. His mommy was in the room next to them but still he couldn't meet her and it was making it difficult for jinyoung. 

"shh… don't cry. She is fine" jaebeom pulled him close and jinyoung shook his head. For Jinyoung, his parents were everything. They were more like his friends. Jinyoung never felt lonely and now, his mommy was in pain. 

"you are so strong. She is out of the surgery and she'll get up and meet you ''Jaebeom had no idea what he was blabbering. He never comforted anyone. Especially an omega. 

"nwo, I am not. Mumma is not here, I don't know what's happening to her. She loves mommy so much" jinyoung broke down and jaebeom pulled him away from the crowd. 

"Jinyoung, listen to me. Your mommy went through this operation to see you happy for her that she did it but you are crying? What will she think? You can't cry, you should be happy that your mommy is here with you" jaebeom whispered as he calmly explained the omega. He couldn't see Jinyoung bawling his eyes. 

Jinyoung sniffled and nodded. He was trying to control the tears but he couldn't stop himself. 

"I am a big boy" he said to himself and jaebeom smiled. 

"yes, you are. Don't cry" he smiled fondly at him and gave him a napkin. 

" thank you" jinyoung replied with a small voice and wiped his tears away.

"mumma!" The omega wrapped himself around his alpha mother who came to the hospital in a hurry. The news didn't settle well with her and leaving her work in half, she sped to the hospital. Seeing her son in such a bad condition, she quickly comforted him. 

Jinyoung's omega mother was sleeping and it was getting on Jinyoung's nerves. He wanted to meet him mommy. The last time Jinyoung asked to see her, they refused but as soon as his alpha mom asked, she was allowed. Jinyoung didn't understand this. 

Hearing her son whimper, she grabbed his arm and took him to the room. She signalled her son to stay quiet and away. Jinyoung's eyes widened at the white bandages wrapping here and there on his mother's body. 

Some parts were bruised and turned purple. Jinyoung cupped his mouth and shook his head at the sight. It was impossible to see his mother in that condition. He was not able to accept what he was looking at. 

"momma, is mommy okay?" his small voice cracked as he stood behind her momma who leaned down and placed a kiss on her mate's forehead. 

"yes, darling" she nodded. Her eyes shifted to the machine that told her heartbeat was steady. She was resting but the result of the accident was clearly bad. Jinyoung had no idea how bad that accident was. 

"baby, give mommy a kiss and leave her to rest. We will meet her when she wakes up" his momma whispered and Jinyoung quickly nodded. He was scared but he wanted to see his mommy. 

"hi, mommy" he whimpered. His voice died as he spoke. 

"I love you, mommy" he whispered and wiping his falling tears of pain, he leaned down to her and kissed her forehead. He wanted to stand there and watch her sleep but the grasp on his hand told him that it was time to leave. 

"Momma, I am staying here for a few days" he finally said and his momma stopped. 

"no, baby. You are going back to college" she said, she hated that her child had to leave even for a few days. 

"momma, I am not going. You have to stay in the hospital and like this you'll not take care of yourself or the house. I'll be here. Don't worry, I'll leave soon" he smiled softly and hugged her. 

"my baby is so thoughtful. It's okay, darling." she smiled and hugged him back. She felt tears falling from her eyes and she didn't stop. She let out the pain and anger in her as he cried on Jinyoung's shoulder. 

"d-don't cry mom, everything will be fine" he hugged her tight and rubbed her back. His hands were full with himself that he had no words left to say. 

"Mrs. Park, please take a seat. Don't get weak" the doctor gently patted her shoulder and she wiped her tears. 

"baby, momma will stay in hospital. Please bring some clothes for me" she said as he stabled herself. 

Jinyoung nodded and turned to make his way to the alpha who stood there watching them. 

"jaebeom" he called and jaebeom quickly bent a little to Jinyoung's height. 

"Can you take me to my home? I need momma's clothes and I'll make some food for her." he asked timidly. It didn't take a second for Jaebeom to nod his head. 

"yeah, sure. Get in the car, I'll take you" 

The car ride was not awkward to say. 

Jinyoung's eyes followed the moon as he sipped delicious grape juice. It was  his third juice box but Jaebeom didn't mind; instead he was happy that the omega liked something he gave. 

"Jinyoung, will you be staying with your mom?" jaebeom asked, glancing at jinyoung before he turned to look at the GPS. 

"oh? No. I can't stay in the hospital." jinyoung replied. He chewed on his lips and looked at jaebeom only to look away when the alpha gave him attention. 

"So, will anyone stay with you at home?" he asked, his eyes focused on the road. 

Jinyoung pouted and looked away. 

"no, they'll go. They need to attend their classes." jinyoung gave a thin smile. Poor baby was not ready to stay alone. He never stayed alone in his house. It was going to be

hard but he can do it. Jinyoung thought. 

In reply, jaebeom only hummed and stopped the car in front of a small house. It was pretty and really small compared to the house he lived in. 

"You can come in," Jinyoung smiled before getting out of the car. Jinyoung pressed the code and entered inside and left the door for Jaebeom to follow. Jinyoung wanted the alpha to be with him when he was alone. 

As soon as Jinyoung stepped in, he switched on the lights and took a deep breath in. It felt nice to be back. Jinyoung took off his shoes and waited for the alpha to come in. Jaebeom took the signal and took off his shoes and wore house slippers. 

"Jaebeom, can you get a packing bag from the top shelf of the cabinet?" jinyoung asked politely. He looked at the tall height of the alpha blushed when he easily took the bag put with no issue. 

"come with me" Jinyoung's small voice caught Jaebeom who smirked and nodded. 

"Jaebeom, I am giving you clothes, just put them in" Jinyoung quickly took out clothes set for his mothers and Jaebeom placed everything in as he was told. 

"blankie, too" jinyoung said out loud unintentionally and his eyes widened when the alpha repeated the words. 

"blankie?" jaebeom asked and his eyes squinted at the word. 

"blanket, silly" Jinyoung laughed and made his way to the back of bed to take out a blanket for his mother. 

Jaebeom just smiled and nodded. Though he showed that the word didn't affect him, his mind was around the word. It was too cute to hear from Jinyoung's mouth. 

Jinyoung bit his tongue and wanted to slap his head. He shook his head and huffed. 

"so, we have taken everything and it's time to make something for momma!" jinyoung sang and marched his way to the kitchen with Jaebeom following him with a big bag in his hand. 

Jinyoung noticed that the alpha placed all the bags on the couch and moved back to doing his work. Jinyoung was going to make kimbap and rice balls for his mother. 

The omega was busy measuring the rice and he didn't notice the alpha watching him intensely. Jinyoung jumped back, his ears getting pink and hot. 

"do you need some help?" jaebeom asked and chuckled, getting a cute reaction from the omega. 

Jinyoung, feeling his cheeks warm shook his head. 

It was not easy to ignore the alpha standing beside you and watching all the moves. Jinyoung grabbed eggs from the fridge and almost stumbled on his toes and scrunched his nose at the alpha who stifled his laugh. 

"Jaebeom, thank you for the juice," Jinyoung smiled, his eyes lifted up to see the alpha who slowly made his way to him. Jinyoung's temperature rose up and his heartbeat started to beat fast. 

Jaebeom's eyes were so captivating that Jinyoung couldn't even look away. He bit his lips when he felt jaebeom's fingers caress against his cheek. Jinyoung's heart jumped out when jaebeom leaned down, his lips just a few inches away breathing him. 

" You can ask for it whenever you like. I can give anything you want" Jinyoung's eyes widened at the words and he swallowed. 

Jinyoung's nostrils were attacked by jaebeom cologne and his eyes glanced at the bow shaped lips. "T-thank you, jaebeom" Jinyoung's breathing stopped when the closeness between them increased. 

The smirk on alpha's face deepened and he leaned down, his lips touching the soft and milky skin of Jinyoung's cheek. 

"You are also welcome, baby" the deep and heavy voice whispered in Jinyoung's ear.

Jinyoung blinked twice. His brain tried to get things together and Jinyoung just stopped functioning. The alpha pulled away, standing tall and proud with his height. 

Jinyoung touched his cheek and looked down with a smile on his lips. 

"I can make coffee for us" the alpha chuckled and made his way to the machine to make some coffee. Though Jaebeom liked how he teased the little fairy, he was embarrassed too. He never did anything like that with an omega. Being soft and nice. 

Jinyoung with hot face worked on the food while the alpha stood in front of the coffee machine waiting for this torture to end. Just a small kiss on his cheek was enough to send fireworks in Jaebeom's stomach. It was nothing dirty. It was the purest form of showing his affection. 

Jinyoung released the breath he was holding when jaebeom's phone went off. He turned to look at the alpha who placed his index finger on his lips to let him know to not make a noise. Jinyoung only nodded in response. 

'This was fast,' Jaebeom thought as he picked up the call of his private investigator. 

"did you find anything?" jaebeom asked the man humming from the other side. 

"sir, we have found the owner of the car. The car belongs to the Steel industry, Mr. Son" the private investigator said. 

"and?" jaebeom asked, his eyes kept glancing at jinyoung working innocently in the kitchen. 

"Sir, the car number is a special number taken in series, there are other cars like this too. Sir, do you have contacts with Mr. Son?" the investigator asked and jaebeom bit his inner cheek. 

Jaebeom huffed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "listen, find more about this man, his family, his work and every thing that can go against him and send me the file, I'll pay you once the work is done" 

Jaebeom aborted the call and turned on his heels to go back when he was taken by surprise by the omega standing with two mugs of coffee. 

"sorry, I didn't want to disturb you so I came here with my tippy toes" he smiled cutely but pouted when the look on jaebeom's face didn't change.

"how much did you hear?" the alpha asked, his eyes squinting at the omega who only pouted. 

"I just came to you and you turned around so quickly that I almost wet myself with coffee" he grumbled cutely that made jaebeom chuckled at the cute behavior. 

"That's okay, jinyoung. Have you made everything?" he asked, taking a mug from Jinyoung, who nodded like a good boy. 

"yes, I have packed everything. Do you want cookies with coffee?" jinyoung asked. He always liked to eat cookies with coffee, milk or tea. The alpha raised an eyebrow and shook his head. 

"no, jinyoung. You can eat it" he chuckled.

"Hi, mommy" 

The omega looked at his mother with eyes filled with tears of joy. His mommy woke up and greeted him with her beautiful smile. Jinyoung, like a five year old, wiggled in his place as he watched her smile back at him. 

"mommy, how are you feeling? Do you feel better?" jinyoung asked quietly, not wanting to disturb her with his loud voice. His mommy only shook her head and looked at her mate. 

"she's fine, darling. Don't worry now. I am with her now" she hugged Jinyoung and kissed the top of his head. 

" I am very happy to see you, mommy. I was so scared and worried. Get well soon, mommy. I love you ''Jinyoung pressed a small kiss on his mommy forehead and looked back at his mother who grabbed his hand in her warm ones. 

"will you be able to live alone?" she asked worriedly as she walked jinyoung out of the ICU. Jinyoung bit his lips and gave a small nod. 

"oh? Jaebeom, you didn't leave?" Jinyoung stopped on his tracks and looked at the alpha who stood up from the bench and gave a hesitant smile at the mother and son. 

"umm..i was waiting for you. You would have been left alone ''Jaebeom scratched the back of his head and hearing this, Jinyoung's mother smirked. 

" And who are you, young man?" she gave a top to toe look at the young alpha. She was an alpha and she was not going to spare him. 

"Momma, he is jaebeom. He is my roommate and he took me home to bring clothes for you. He is very nice to me, ''Jinyoung blushed as he said and gave a pretty smile. 

"okay. That's nice. Are you not going back?" she asked, clicking her tongue. 

Jaebeom gave out a nervous chuckle and looked at Jinyoung for help but the omega only shrugged. 

"I gave my car to my friend to take others back" he finally said the half truth. He wanted to stay back with Jinyoung so he gave his car. 

This made Mrs. Park smiled at the alpha and she patted Jinyoung's back. 

"darling, why don't you invite jaebeom to stay at our place?" she smiled and gave a smug look to the alpha who felt his ears hot. 

"oh, right! Jaebeom you can stay with me till I am here. This way I wouldn't be alone at home and you'll have a place to stay ''Jinyoung squealed and wiggled his eyebrows, making Jaebeom laugh. 

"Yes, now you both leave and better buy something on the way back. Reach home safe" his momma gently nudged his son forward and jaebeom bowed at her in respect. 

"jaebeom, will you be comfortable staying at my place?" he asked politely and jaebeom looked at jinyoung in disbelief. 

"why is that, jinyoung? I'll be fine" he chuckled as he walked to the parking lot. 

"no, just like that. Oh, why are we here? We don't have a car right?" Jinyoung asked in   but a small white car made him confused even more. 

" Um, I rented a car for a few days." he smirked and opened the door for Jinyoung to enter inside. 

The thing was, it was no rented car. Jaebeom asked one of his workers to leave a simple looking car in the basement. Simple. 

"that's nice." jinyoung giggled and fiddled with his fingers as the alpha ignited the engine.
