"Mate? Are you sure about this?" You asked Loki yet again. It was too late at the point you were asking, but you really did have to be sure that he was entirely sure this was a good idea. Which you had brought up to him multiple times over the last few weeks.

"I'm sure, Elskling. You'll love Asgard and the people will adore you. Especially mother," Loki said fondly and kissed your hair. He had written home weeks ago to tell his family that he and Thor were coming to visit. And that he was bringing his new mate. From what you understood, Frigga was ecstatic to meet you. Loki was equally excited to show you Asgard and how an Omega should be treated.

That didn't make you any less nervous about going to a strange realm.

"And... they'll accept an Omega? A Midgardian Omega?" You asked Loki nervously. You couldn't really believe that you'd be accepted on Asgard. You'd heard horror stories about how much Odin disliked Midgardians. You didn't think he'd accept you. He had no reason to.

Loki placed his fingers under your chin to tilt your head up. He leaned down to kiss you softly. "The realm will love you. Omegas are cherished on Asgard. Mother will love you. Thor already loves you. The Allfather...? Well..." Loki hesitated, but he couldn't lie to you. "The Allfather doesn't like anyone besides Mother and Thor. He won't hurt you and he will accept you because you're my mate,"

His words weren't the most reassuring, but you knew they were the best Loki could offer you. You wrapped your arms around his waist and laid your head on his chest, noting yet again how perfectly you seemed to fit in his arms. His cool strong arms pulled you close and you could bury your nose against his chest, taking in the scent of your mate, your Alpha. He stroked your hair gently and gave you a minute of quiet to calm, to relax in his safe arms.

Nothing could hurt you while your Alpha held you.

He leaned down and pressed a kiss to your hair, nuzzling you, taking in your scent. "Ready?" He asked you gently once he'd felt that you had calmed down, that your breathing had slowed.

You nodded against his chest. "As ready as I'll ever be," you replied softly.

"Then let's go, Elskling." Loki kept an arm around your shoulders as the pair of you headed out to the Bifrost circle.

Thor was already out there waiting for you, saying goodbye to the team. He grinned at you when he saw you. "Ready, brother?" He asked Loki brightly, clearly eager to go home.

You felt Loki relax and saw his warm smile. Loki inclined his head. "Yes, I'm ready to show off my mate." You felt the rumble of Alpha-purring in his chest as much as you heard it.

Thor grinned and beckoned you closer. "Then let's go," he said. You and Loki joined him in the Bifrost circle. Thor raised his hammer to the sky and called for Heimdall. A moment later, the Bifrost opened and you shrieked at the strange sensation of being lifted through the rainbow bridge to Asgard.
