donghyuck sat on the porch of his bungalow, not paying attention to the demigods that were whispering about him.

jeno had been called by leeteuk and he had told the beautiful boy to stay here until he came back. and well, donghyuck didn't want something bad to happen, so he obeyed.

the boy was getting bored, just sitting there without doing anything.

he was too scared to go to the other people, and he couldn't wander around because jeno would arrive soon, and he would be mad.

so, donghyuck stayed there, looking at the many people passing.

"hum... hello?" a girl's voice spoke, startling donghyuck.

the boy turned his head, his eyes falling on a group of girls. "h-hello..." he replied shyly.

"you are donghyuck, the forbidden child, aren't you?" another girl asked.

"yes."

"they are right. you are beautiful and glowing." she told, making donghyuck blush.

"t-thank you." he smiled.

"do you have something special? like... being the son of two gods means there is something different in you... but what is it?"

donghyuck tilted his head to the side, furrowing his brows.

he had never thought about that, and never imagine that he could have something particular.

just as donghyuck was about to respond, he was interrupted by a low voice on his other side.

"as if he would tell that to the daughters of eris."

donghyuck turned around abruptly, meeting eyes with mark.

hades' son diverted his eyes to the group of girls, his dark aura appearing immediately and a menacing glare replacing the soft look in his eyes.

"disappear." he spoke slow and low, making the girls shiver and run away in fear.

donghyuck blinked, not quite understanding what had just happened.

"they seemed friendly..." he said with a pout.

mark chuckled, sitting next to the beautiful boy under his porch.

"they may seem friendly, but they are the daughters of eris, which means they aren't."

"who is eris?" donghyuck asked innocently.

"the spirit of strife, contention, discord and rivalry. wherever they are, there are problems."

donghyuck looked at the intimidating male in the eyes before laughing.

"that's exactly what jeno said at your subject."

mark raised a brow. "i don't get why he hates me. i'm not that bad."

"jeno is very protective towards me. he has always been." donghyuck told.

"i mean... he's right. you are some beautiful artwork. people should pay for breathing the same air as yours." he said, studying the gorgeous boy's face.

donghyuck felt his heart beating faster at the boy's words.

sure, he was used to having people complementing him, but knowing that such a hot guy did complement him made him feel all giddy inside.

"t-thank y-you..." he smiled shyly.

"you don't have to thank me. i'm only speaking facts." he told.

mark sat even closer, making donghyuck's heart stop beating.

"look at this flawless tanned skin..." mark started, his burning hot hand caressing donghyuck's bare forearm until he reached his shoulder.

"...this beautiful body..." mark gestured the boy's figure.

"...and this perfect face..." he added, his eyes falling into donghyuck's deep brown ones.

donghyuck flushed brighter than ever, at their close proximity, and all the sweet words that mark were telling. it felt so good, having someone this close and complimenting him.

the two boys just sat in silence, looking into each other's eyes, and staying in a comfortable silence, with quick heartbeats.

a bark was heard, disturbing their silence.

"i should leave." mark said, rising to his feet.

"already?"

"trust me, i don't want to." mark smirked, making donghyuck flush again.

"goodbye beauty." mark winked before running away.

before donghyuck could recover from his erratic heart, jeno came to him running.

"sorry, i took a bit long." he told, standing in front of his best friend. "you alright?"

donghyuck nodded vigorously standing up to cling onto jeno.

"i'm okay!" he squeaked.

"you are red." jeno told, his brows furrowed. "are you hot?"

"i'm okay, i'm okay." donghyuck repeated.

"great. let's go to the training field then. we'll train with other people today."

"come on mark. stop being so pessimistic."

mark stared at the boy with brows furrowed and no hint of sympathy in his eyes.

"hendery, what are these two doing here?" he asked his brother.

"we were hanging out. it's not my fault if you came and ruined the mood." he replied, lying his head on his boyfriend's shoulder.

mark eyed his brother and his two boyfriends, xiaojun and yangyang, acting too sweet for their own good.

"dad would be disgusted to see you like this." mark spat.

"as if he actually cared about us." hendery retorted.

"he cares about his reputation. and with this relationship of yours, you're putting a shame on him."

xiaojun and yangyang exchanged a worried glance.

they were used to this kind of behaviour from mark. he was as moody as hades, and that wasn't something very pleasing to live with.

"i guess we are going to train a bit..." xiaojun said, taking yangyang's hand in his and pulling him up as well.

"yeah, we'll let you alone, between brothers." yangyang added, pulling xiaojun away.

"well done stupid. my boyfriends left without even giving me a kiss." hendery snorted.

"whatever."

"what's with this fucked up mood today, mark?" hendery asked, obviously pissed. "i'm used to your shitty behaviour, but today, we're reaching summits."

mark glared at him, his dark aura appearing. "fuck you."

hendery didn't answer right away.

he waited a few seconds, allowing mark to calm down a bit before he could start a polemical conversation again.

"and what about the forbidden child?" he asked with a smirk.

"donghyuck." mark replied. "his name is donghyuck."

"ooh, you're making progress..."

"i could if it wasn't for zeus' son." mark snorted. "he's always around, and he hates me. he doesn't allow me to see him."

hendery's smirk grew wider. "so, you admit you're interested..."

"i admit nothing. i'm just saying that zeus' son is pissing me off. i can't even have a proper conversation with donghyuck." mark spat. "this morning, i had to tell marvros to hide and bark when jeno was approaching."

hendery chuckled at his brother's words.

"and i'm the one putting a shame on hades..."
