"zeus." a voice disturbed the king of the gods.

"what do you need, hermes?"

"i'm here to deliver a message." the messenger replied.

"go on. i have things to do."

hermes coughed a bit.

"the child is born."

"pardon?" zeus rose to his feet. "i told her to abort."

"well... she didn't listen. she had the child. he was born this morning."

"i'm going to kill them both. i had warned them." he groaned, thunder resonating above their heads.

"can i do something for you?" hermes asked.

"yes. call all the olympians. i want them here the quickest possible. hades as well. i need to have a word with him."

hermes smiled. "as if it was done."

"so... i learned that despite my counter-orders, the child was born." zeus spoke, walking around the room, the eyes of the twelve other gods focused on him – well, eleven; hades seemed distracted.

"why am i not invited more often?" he asked. "your little meetings seem very fun to participate in."

zeus rubbed his temples, trying to keep his cool.

"and why do you all have beautiful golden seats while i was given a plastic garden chair?" he continued.

"hades. shut the fuck up before i send you back to the underworld." zeus growled. "this is an important meeting. you're here because we needed you as well. but we can just replace you by someone else if you feel like you're not enough."

"no, it's okay, it's okay." hades shook his head. "please continue, your majesty. i won't bother you again." he mocked his brother.

zeus ignored him as he started talking again.

"as i was saying, i am very angry with you for not listening to my orders."

"you can't ask a woman to abort like that!" aphrodite rose to her feet, the pans of her red dress falling on the floor nicely.

"i can do whatever i want."

"i wanted to have that child." she raised her voice. "you can't forbid me to have one when most of you already have children. this is my first son!"

"i didn't forbid you to have a child. i told you that you could have him with a mortal. as far as i am concerned, apollo is nowhere near a mortal." zeus sighed.

"and what if we decided having a child? did any of us complain after any of your love conquests?" apollo entered the fight as well.

"half of you wouldn't be here right now if i hadn't had those adventures! and you first, apollo."

the god of sun sulked back into his seat.

"anyway. it's too late now. the child was born. because of him, all of us are threatened." zeus explained.

"nobody knows about him." aphrodite sat back elegantly.

"don't underestimate them. they're some vicious creatures... hades!"

"huh, yeah?" the god of the underworld woke up from his mini-nap.

"i want your creatures to roam a bit everywhere. we should protect the child at all costs. if they catch him, we're all dead."

"you're talking about my son as if he was some vulgar weapon." apollo protested.

"because he is. look at what you created... a weapon of mass destruction."

aphrodite scoffed.

"what are we going to do with him? where will he live and everything?"

"in the half-blood camp. where do you want him to go?" apollo replied.

"no. he won't go there." zeus said calmly.

"i'm sorry?" aphrodite raised a brow.

"it's too dangerous. what if they infiltrate the camp? no, no. we need a safe place."

zeus thought for a second.

"he'll live in seoul, oblivious about our existence. we'll put him in an orphanage."

"WHAT?!" apollo and aphrodite yelled at the same time.

"it's for our protection! his and ours." zeus argued.

"and leaving him in the wild is a good idea you think?" apollo snorted.

zeus used his pointer finger to tap his chin. "no. you're right. he'll need someone to trust. someone to protect him..."

"i don't want any weird creature taking advantage of my baby." aphrodite warned.

zeus smirked. "of course, not. my son would never do that."

welcome to my new story, olympian love!

i actually have so much things to tell about this story before you start reading...

first of all, i started writing this 2 years ago, right after cat fight, and i had stopped writing it until now. this means that the beginning of the story is still written in my old style, and there may be a change of style in the middle of the story (sorry in advance)

second of all, this story was initially supposed to be a markhyuck story, and i decided to change it into a nct dream story (when i was around chapter 10) because the other members of dream were too important in the story to leave them apart. this means that the story will be nct dream, but it will be many centered on markhyuck

third of all, because this story was started way before wizards even existed in my mind, the love plots will be kind of similar (i never thought i would be able to finish this story, so i used the 'falling in love' processes in wizards, but turns out i did write it in the end, so i tried making it as different as the hogwarts au as possible, but there may be similarities)

fourth of all, I had always wanted to write a demigod au, because i am a huge fan of percy jackson (and greek mythology in general, so sorry un advance for the mythological inside jokes) and i kind of fell in love myself with writing this story, so, the more you'll get into the story, the longer the chapters will get. to give you a little idea, my word document is 207 pages long (85 000 words for 50 chapters, so, this will be a long ass ride)

fifth of all, this will obviously have people falling in love, people and creature getting hurt and dying, so, yeah... as much as i don't write much action/adventure usually, this story is basically an adventure featuring lots of fights and action, so, I guess it will be different from my other works (kinda??)
