leeteuk brought donghyuck and jeno to the nearest hotel.

staying inside donghyuck's apartment wasn't safe, and they couldn't go to the half-blood camp this late at night.

the woman at the reception gave them two adjoining rooms.

"jeno." leeteuk spoke, giving the room key to jeno. "you'll sleep with him. make sure nothing happens. and if there's a problem, my room is just there."

jeno nodded, pulling the trebling donghyuck inside the room.

"you should sleep, hyuck. you just had a very rough day. i think it's better for you." jeno told.

donghyuck nodded lightly, taking his jeans off and climbing into the king-sized bed.

he then looked at jeno who was fumbling around the room, and checking if he saw anything by the window.

"c-can you come with m-me?" donghyuck asked voice low.

jeno looked at him with sad eyes and nodded before taking his trousers off and slipping inside the bed, next to donghyuck.

the tanned male glued his body to his best friend's, startling him a slight bit.

"i-i'm scared..." he mumbled; face squished against jeno's shoulder.

jeno used one of his hands to caress donghyuck's nape.

"don't worry donghyuck. you're safe now. i'm here to protect you. tomorrow we'll go to the camp first thing in the morning, and you'll be able to learn how to defend yourself with people like us."

donghyuck nodded, feeling good in jeno's embrace.

there was something about jeno's arms that had the capacity to calm donghyuck down. he felt protected whenever he was there.

"when i said i wanted a life with more action, that's not what i meant..." donghyuck said.

"i know. no one would want a life like this. but you don't choose your origins..." jeno answered softly.

donghyuck hummed, getting closer to jeno.

"sleep now donghyuck. you need it."

and that's all it took for donghyuck to close his eyes and drift off to dreamland.

"here is the entrance of the half-blood camp." leeteuk declared.

jeno, donghyuck and him had woken up early to get to the camp the quickest possible.

and now, they were in the middle of a forest, in front of a wooden arch on which was written 'half-blood camp' in greek letters.

donghyuck was rather surprised that he could read it when never in his whole life he had learned the greek alphabet.

leeteuk led the way, walking in front of the two teenagers.

donghyuck stayed glued to jeno's side, clinging to his arm, and looking around in fear.

"jeno will make you visit the camp in a minute. but before, we'll bring you to your house so that you can see where you're going to sleep." leeteuk explained.

"i-i'll sleep alone?" donghyuck trembled in fear.

"yes, but you don't have to worry, this is a safe place." jeno reassured him.

the three boys crossed the camp, meeting plenty teenagers and strange creatures. donghyuck was rather uneasy as most of them looked at him when he passed near them.

suddenly, leeteuk stopped jeno and him because some people were blocking their way.

donghyuck hesitantly looked at what made them stop and he was horrified by the sight.

a teenager wearing all black was ready to fight five frightened girls with his huge scythe. next to him, a huge black dog was growling, ready to jump on the girls if any of them dared making a move.

"mark!" leeteuk spoke. "what's the matter again?"

the boy looked at the chief with brows furrowed.

"they got on my way." he said, voice so low that it sent shivers down donghyuck's spine.

"that's not a valid reason. girls, go away." leeteuk dismissed the girls who gladly took their leave.

mark glared at leeteuk, his dog growling louder.

"stop it, mark. you're scaring the newbie."

mark raised a brow, looking behind the chief to see a frightened brunette clinging to zeus' son.

"who's that?" he asked, not so politely.

"he's lee donghyuck, the forbidden child." and as if leetuk had said the most interesting thing, mark's eyes focused on the beautiful boy.

"lee donghyuck..." he whispered, studying the boy who didn't dare to look at him.

"that's not the point." leeteuk said. "you really need to stop attacking people inside the camp."

mark diverted his eyes from the new boy to the chief. "do i look like i plan to stop?"

and with that, he disappeared in the camp, his dog behind him.

leeteuk sighed, turning towards donghyuck.

"that's the problem with hades' sons. short-tempered, not easy to approach and very moody. be careful around them."

donghyuck trembled even more. wasn't he supposed to be safe here?

if yes, then why would he be assaulted by some hot and scary guy with his scythe and his dog?

"anyway, let's bring you to your house." jeno spoke, pulling donghyuck with him.

they continued walking for five minutes until they arrived in a place full of colourful bungalows.

"that's where half-blood live. each god created a bungalow for their children." leeteuk explained.

"b-but... i'm an orphan... my parents are dead." donghyuck mumbled.

"huh... not really."

donghyuck stayed glued to his spot at what leeteuk told him. his whole life had been a lie? why couldn't he wake up from that nightmare?

"see, here are bungalows for people who have one mortal parent, and one god parent." leeteuk explained. "for example, jeno lives in this one. it's the bungalow zeus created personally for his children."

"s-so... one of my parents is a god?" donghuck asked unsure.

leeteuk chuckled nervously. "huh... you see... you are someone particular, donghyuck, because instead of having a god parent and a mortal parent... both of your parents are olympian gods."

donghyuck furrowed his brows again.

"and that makes you very powerful. having the blood of two olympians running through your veins... that's why some people are after you. for your powers."

donghyuck tried to hold himself from crying.

that was too much. he really needed to wake up.

"donghyuck." jeno called him softly. "this is your new home." he said, pointing at a beautiful pinkish bungalow. it had columns around it and a big yellow sun was glued to the top of the front door.

donghyuck swallowed the lump in his throat.

"w-who are my parents if they are both gods?" he asked slowly.

"apollo, god of music, arts, oracles, diseases, light and sun, is your father." leeteuk told.

"and your mother is aphrodite. goddess of love, beauty and sexuality." jeno finished.

and that's all that was needed for donghyuck to black out in their arms.
