I can hardly believe it! I applied to work at the industrial laundromat, and they accepted me, without trouble, and hardly without any questions. I had my first day at work today, and it's amazing to think that I found a job so quickly. Surely God is watching over me and my little girl! It was heavy work, with so much bending and lifting and scrubbing, but I have nothing to complain of. I met a lovely woman named Elizabeth Peralta today, a rather stout, fat, talkative lady, so kind and warm. She likes to go by "Liz". She invited me and Silvia to stay at her house until I have enough money to rent an apartment of my own.
