It was Barry and Oliver's one-year anniversary, and Oliver took Barry to the most fanciest, most expensive restaurant in both Central City and Starling City combined. Oliver loves to spoil Barry, he's always buying him gifts and taking him places. They sat at a small table across from each other holding hands.

"I love you so much, Bear." Oliver said smiling.

"I love you, too, Ollie." Barry replied.

Barry feels bad that he can't do the things Oliver does for him. He's not rich like Oliver, so he can't afford expensive gifts or fancy places. Though, he doesn't tell Oliver that it bothers him, because he knows Oliver only does those things cause he loves him. So, when Oliver gave Barry a watch, and he only gave him a single rose and a card; Barry tried to bury the feeling of inferiority deep down. After dinner, they went to Oliver's house and did you-know-what. Now, the two have slowed down to cuddles and soft kisses.

"How do you like your gift, baby?" Oliver asked.

"I love it." answered Barry.

"And I love my gift, too." Oliver said kissing Barry's forehead.

"*sigh* Oliver, you don't have to pretend to like my crappy, cheap-a** gifts for you." Barry sighed upset.

He rolls over and faces away from Oliver.

"Barry? W-what do you mean? I love the gifts you give me, I really do." Oliver replied confused.

"Bear, I don't care how much things cost. As long as it's from you, I'll love it...always." Oliver told him hugging him.

Then something occurred to the billionaire.

"Bear, baby, does it bother you that I buy you things you can't afford for me?" Oliver asked Barry.

The speedster doesn't respond to the question his boyfriend asked him. Oliver frowns, disappointed at himself, he never meant to make Barry feel bad.

"Oh, baby, I'm sorry. You know I don't intentionally one-up you, right?" said Oliver pulling Barry close to him.

"I know..." replied Barry rolling over to face his boyfriend.

"Barry, if something is bothering you, tell me. Please. We're in a relationship, we're supposed to tell each other anything and everything, okay." Oliver explained cupping Barry's face.

Barry nods in agreement then leans in and kisses Oliver. The two sleep wrapped up in each other's embrace. In the morning, Oliver drives Barry to work.

"See you tonight, Bear." Oliver said.

"see ya, Ollie." replied Barry.

They share a quick kiss before Barry exits the car. At around noon, Barry leaves the station to go get lunch. He heard something coming from an empty alley. Being the curious person he is, Barry goes to see what made the noise. Seeing nothing in the alley, Barry turns to leave. But, after two steps, the superhero is grabbed from behind. Before Barry could fight back, a needle is inserted into his neck. The second the drug hit his veins, Barry goes limp and his vision gets blurry.

"H-help...me." Barry tried to yell, but it came out as a whisper.

Barry fought hard to stay conscious, but finally passed out when he was loaded into the back of a van. When Barry didn't return to work, Joe tried to call him; it went straight to voice-mail five times. Next, Joe calls Oliver, figuring Barry might be with him.

"Hello." Oliver said answering his phone.

"Oliver, is Barry with you?" Joe asked.

"No. I thought he was still at work?" replied Oliver.

"It's been hours and he hasn't come back from his lunch break. I tried calling him...five times...and each time it went to voice-mail." Joe explained, not calm at all.

"Calm down, Joe, I'm sure everything is fi--" Oliver was saying before a brick crashed through the window of his home.

"Joe, I'll call you back." Oliver said before hanging up.

Oliver walks over to the broken window and picks up the brick. Tied to the brick was Barry's cellphone. Thea walks into the room and sees broken glass everywhere and Oliver's terrified face.

"Ollie, what happened here?" she asked him.

"T-Thea...I-I think Barry's in trouble." Oliver said with a shaky voice.

The brother and sister sit at the kitchen table and find a video on Barry's phone. Oliver and Thea were hesitant at first, but eventually hit 'play'. On screen was a man with dark hair and dark eyes.

"Hello, Mr. Queen." the man smiled wickedly.

"I really do hope you're watching this video alone...or else things aren't going to end well. I bet you're wondering what the h*ll is going on. Well, to put it shortly...me and my friends have kidnapped your boyfriend and you are going to give us a large sum of money for his safe return." said the man.

Oliver clenches his fists tightly, never has he been this angry at one person. The man in the video steps aside to reveal Barry unconscious and tied to a chair. Both Queen siblings gasp and cover their mouths.

"Now, Mr. Queen, if you tell anyone, and that includes the police...we will blow your precious little boyfriend's brains out. Hope you comply...for Barry's sake." said the guy in a very threatening voice.

The video ends, then Oliver starts to freak out. Barry woke up feeling dizzy and weak. It took him a few minutes to realize he was tied to a chair.

"He's waking up, give him another dose!" someone shouted.

The speedster felt a pinching feeling in his neck then passed out again. Each time Barry would begin to wake up, his kidnappers would drug him. The man who kidnapped Barry was named Jonah Gentry; he was going to ransom him for 15 million dollars. Jonah had a lot of confidence in his plan, he knew how much Barry and Oliver loved each other; and he knew Oliver would go to great lengths to make sure the love of his life was safe in his arms.

"What to do with 15 million dollars?" he asked himself with a smile on his face.

Sinister laughter fills the room as Jonah thought about his plan. In the Arrow Cave, Thea and Oliver tried to think of a plan to rescue Barry.

"M-maybe we should just give him the money." Oliver said, still on edge.

"Ollie, there's no guarantee that this guy will give Barry back once he gets his money. We're Green Arrow and Speedy, we can handle a situation like this." said Thea.

"No I can't handle this, Thea! If one thing goes wrong, I'll lose Barry forever! I can't lose him, Thea, I can't." Oliver cried.

"I promise you, Oliver, I won't let anything go wrong! You will not lose him, not on my watch!" Thea proclaimed.

Thea hugs her brother and allows him to cry out his fear and frustration on her shoulder. Barry Allen's safety was very important to Thea; he was her brother's boyfriend, he made her brother happy, and she saw him as her brother as well.

"Come on, bro, let's find out where they're keeping him." Thea said patting Oliver's shoulders.

Oliver takes a deep breath and nods with a serious look on his face. With Felicity's help, Green Arrow and Speedy analyze the video to see if there were any clues in the background.

"Sorry, Oliver, I can't find any clues at all. I have no idea where they are." Felicity said.

"Wait! I think I saw something!" said Thea.

"Go back a little...pause! Pause it right there!...Look, right through that top window there, there's something in the sky." Thea instructed.

The three look at what resembles a beam of light with a bat silhouette in the center.

"Oh. My. God. Is that...?" asked Felicity.

"Yep...that's the Bat-Signal...Barry's in Gotham." replied Thea.

"Come on, let's get going!" Oliver said rushing out of the Arrow Cave with his gear.

Thea quickly grabs her gear and follows her brother to Gotham City. In Gotham, the vigilantes search all over the place for where the kidnappers might be.

"What are you two doing here?" asked a deep, ominous voice.

Green Arrow and Speedy turn around and come face-to-face with the dark night himself...Bat-Man.

"A friend of ours was kidnapped, and we're trying to find him." Thea answered.

"Either help us or stay out of our way." Oliver snapped.

The stoic hero glares at the archer.

"I'll help. I don't need the two of you causing too much trouble in my city." said Bat-Man.

Oliver shakes hands with him, then Thea shows Bat-Man the video.

"Do you recognize anything from background of the video?" Oliver asked.

"Yes, I know where that building is. Follow me." replied Bat-Man.

Bat-Man leads the archers to the building Barry is being kept in. The three vigilantes wait on the roof of the adjacent building. The building is guarded and inside there are armed henchmen surrounding Barry. Jonah is nowhere in sight.

"So, do we have a plan? Cause we can't just rush in, they'll kill him." said Oliver.

"You go in the front, I'll go in the back, and the girl will go in through the roof's entrance. They're holding him on ground floor; so, if you and I go in on both sides, they'll be too busy with us to notice her coming in from the top. That leaves her free to extract the hostage." explained Bat-Man.

They all get to their positions and execute their plan. Oliver fights the kidnappers with a blind fury.

"Okay, got 'em all." Oliver said into the comms.

"I also got everyone on my end." said Bat-Man.

"Let's meet Speedy in the middle." Oliver told Bat-Man.

Green Arrow and Bat-Man come into the main room and find Speedy in a stand-off with a guy who was holding a gun to Barry's head. Oliver joins his sister's side as Bat-Man remained in the shadows un-noticed.

"You should've just given me the money, Mr. Queen." said Jonah.

"H-how?" Oliver asked shocked.

"I've been planning this for a while now. So, I had to do a little...stalking...to learn your strengths and weaknesses. I learned that you are the Green Arrow, and that Barry is the Flash." replied Jonah.

"Because of this information, I had to make a few adjustments to the plan. In order to keep him sedated, I had to create a very strong drug that would overpower his accelerated healing." Jonah explained.

"Okay, I'll give you the money! Just...p-please, don't hurt Barry! I'm begging you!" pleaded Oliver.

Just then, Bat-Man grabs Jonah and they wrestle over the gun. While Bat-Man fights Jonah, Oliver and Thea untie Barry from the chair.

"Barry! Barry, please wake up; please for the love of God, wake up!" Oliver shouted cradling his unconscious boyfriend.

Barry is unresponsive and barely breathing.

"Oh no! Oliver, I think he's overdosing on that drug they gave him." said Thea.

"What?! NO!" replied Oliver terrified.

"Go! Get him to a hospital, I've got this guy here!" shouted Bat-Man.

Oliver picks up Barry and carries him out of the building, Thea following close behind. As they exited the building, a gunshot is heard.

"Go on ahead, Ollie, I'll help Bat-Man." Thea said before running back into the building.

The hooded vigilante runs all the way to the Gotham City Hospital. When the doctors took Barry back, Oliver leaves to go change out of his Green Arrow attire. He returns in regular clothes and waits in the hospital's waiting room. Two hours later, Thea joins Oliver in the waiting room.

"What happened with the kidnapper guy?" Oliver asked whispering.

"He's dead. While him and Bat-Man were fighting over the gun, it went off and he was hit. His name was Jonah Gentry." Thea answered.

The doctor comes out and tells them that Barry was going to be okay. Oliver practically runs to Barry's hospital room. The next day is when Barry finally woke up.

"Bear, you're okay!" Oliver cheered hugging and kissing Barry.

"Ollie? W-what happened? Last thing I remember, I-I was on my way to lunch, then..." Barry mumbled dazed.

"Baby, you were kidnapped and drugged. But it's okay now, cause Thea and I saved you...with some help." Oliver told Barry, gently stroking his head.

Barry leans into the touch and sighs tiredly.

"Ollie...why do I feel so weak?" Barry asked.

"That drug they gave you was really strong, it's going to take you a while to recover. So, just rest, baby." replied Oliver.

"Does Joe know I'm okay?" asked Barry as his eyes started to close.

"Yeah, I called him last night." Oliver answered kissing Barry's temple.

Barry falls back asleep while his boyfriend runs his fingers through his scruffy, brown hair. It took two weeks for Barry to fully recover. Since Barry had been rescued, Oliver's been basically glued to the speedster.

"Oliver, hun, don't ya think you're being a little clingy?" Barry laughed.

"No." replied Oliver.

The man was holding his boyfriend in his lap and had his head against his chest.

"Oh okay, hold me as long as you like, ya little snuggler." Barry said resting his chin on the top of Oliver's head.

"What are we gonna do, Bear? What if someone tries to kidnap you for ransom again?" Oliver asked burying his face into Barry's chest.

"Ollie, don't worry too much. It won't happen again, but if it does, you'll just rescue me." Barry reassured him.

The two kiss then press their foreheads together.

"I love you, Bear." said Oliver.

"Love you, too, Ollie." said Barry.

Flash and Green Arrow spend the rest of the afternoon making out on Oliver's couch.
