The Aftermath
Once Oliver and Diggle left to check on their families felicity was left alone debating whether she trusted them enough to shared her secrets or not.one thing was clear to her and it was that they genuinely cared for her, and with that she could probably let them into her life a little more than what they knew about it. An hour passed with her thinking about all these and her medicines began effecting her causing her to fall a sleep. As she slept she dreamt of blood all around her, she could see a few men around her and recognised them as the monsters she knew them to be, those that were part of her past and had only hurt her, a this point even convincing herself that it's a dream wasn't possible for felicity. She was sweating terribly and that's when Oliver came in he saw her sweating and shivering so went and slightly shook her, with this she used her injured arm and punched Oliver really badly ,he wince and felicity to was in pain, she woke and realised she punched Oliver, gathering her posture she started apologising to him. After a few minutes of her nonstop apology aka rambling about Oliver stopped her and said he forgives her and lightens the mood by saying " I glad at least you are cautiouswhen sleeping compared to being wide awake. "To this felicity whines and asks for example of a time when she isn't cautious he tell about how he waited 5 mins in front of her desk waiting for her to notice before talking to her the first time they met in her cubicle. She say she didn't expect him to want to talk to her and so didn't bother talking to him but knew some one was there. To this he adds that she surely didn't know that he would follow her every early morning and make sure she entered her house, she said she knew and never mentioned it as to not make it awkward for them but she liked it that he cared for her and so would let him be satisfied that she was safely home. She started wiping her dried tears and Oliver asked her what she dreamt of to give such a reaction she just froze and stuttered while saying that she saw a lot in blood and a few monstrous people from her past. Her tears had reformed and Oliver hugged her closely calming her down and she soon fell asleep on his chest. He laid her down comfortably and left the foundry .next morning Diggle came to check on her and changed her stitches, he told her that she was really brave and that she should take rest for a few days before they go back to the vigilante business. She agreed and rested at home for the next 2 days.
