(Y/N)'s POV
"Okay," I say as we walk, "let's go. We have to get there before Ivor does." I lead the way.
"Yo," Magnus says, walking faster to catch up to me. "We haven't really gotten the chance to chat, yet."
"Yeah?" I respond. "What about?"
"I hear you saved your friend back there from this Witherstorm thing," he says. "You're pretty tough, huh?"
"Anything for my friends," I tell him.
"Caring. Nice. I can dig it." He hesitates before saying, "Kind of wish you had my back before. But whatever. You still seem alright. Ish." He pauses again. "What's the deal with your buddy Gill?" He looks back at Gill. Gill smiles and waves and Magnus does the same. "Can't tell if he's awesome," he adds, "or a little bit annoying."
"He can be pretty annoying," I chuckle. "But, Gill's pretty cool. He's one of my best friends."
"Interesting. Very interesting. Then why didn't you listen to his plan to come get me?"
"I don't know." I try to think of something to say that won't offend him. "I just wanted to go with Maya, I guess."
"Okay, that's fair. Sort of," he mumbles. "I'll try not to let it hurt my feelings too much. Well, just keep on your toes."
I sigh as our awkward conversation is finally over.
I decide to look at my inventory out of boredom. I then realize that I have my luckiest item with me. Yeah, I know, there's no such thing as a lucky item, but I like to believe it's lucky.
It's a bracelet. It used to be glow in the dark, but now it's just a thick wristband with (F/C) liquid inside it and my favorite singer's signature written on it. It's not an actual autograph, sadly.
The reason it's so special is that I got it on my twelfth birthday. I went to (F/S)'s concert on this day. Ever since I saw the concert date was my birthday, I was instantly intrigued. It was even close to where I lived, the closest (F/S) was coming on tour. My heart broke when I found out that the show was sold out. For weeks I searched for resold tickets online, but they were all over a hundred emeralds. I cried a lot, knowing I was never going to be able to go. It makes me sound super sensitive, but I idolized (F/S).
Finally, on the Sunday before the concert, I found tickets that were only forty-six emeralds. I begged the other Ocelots to let me go. They at first weren't totally sure, since the concert was on Wednesday and it was such short notice. Yet, I finally convinced them. I was overwhelmed with happiness. I got the bracelet, and have treasured it ever since. I didn't actually get to meet (F/S), but the memory is still sacred.
I slip it on my right wrist for an extra bit of luck. I immediately know I will need it, because I hear the creaking of bones and the moaning of zombies.
"See?" Magnus says, irritated. "This is why I said we should've waited 'til morning! We wouldn't need to worry about any of this!"
"At least we're keeping ahead of the Witherstorm!" Ellegaard snaps back.
A spider drops out of a tree as it hisses.
"It doesn't matter now!" I say. "We have to fight these things if we're going to get to Soren's before Ivor does!"
Everyone pulls out their weapons if they have any. I bring out my stone sword. I kill three zombies, then glance up at the sky. The moon is about to disappear and the sun is about to rise up.
"It's almost day!" I yell to the others.
We start running.
"Come on!" I motivate them. "Look! The mountains! We're almost there!"
We finally reach them and start to climb up.
We find a door, which is outlined in gold. It opens and we walk inside. The room we come into is mostly decorated with quarts and sapphire.
"Soren really lived down here?" Lukas says. "It's so far from . . . anyone."
"Enchanting, isn't it?" Ellegaard says.
We come to a flight of stairs. Lukas starts coughing, and I look at him with worry. He looks at me, then quickly looks away. When I really think about it, Lukas has been quiet almost this whole time.
Everyone walks up the steps, and I follow them.
The next room has many columns. It's like a game of parkour. My eyes widen as I realize that the only way of getting to the other side is by jumping from column to column. I, being acrophobic, start to back away.
"Oh, no," I mutter. "Oh, no, no, no."
"Aw, come on!" Magnus says. He hops to the first one. "It's totally fine!"
"Yeah!" Gill says as he leaps to the column Magnus landed on. He is followed by Maya, then Aiden, then Ellegaard, then Jesse, and lastly Lukas.
I shake my head rapidly. Fish nudges me. Aiden sees my cowering and beckons me to jump. I slip off my bracelet and grasp it with both hands as I hold it against my chest, close my eyes, and jump.
"Don't look down, don't look down," I tell myself. Despite my own advice, I glance down. "Shoot. That's really deep."
"Come on, (Y/N)!" Aiden calls to me. "You can do it!"
I gulp and squeeze my eyes shut. To my surprise, I make it, giving me a boost of confidence. I keep jumping until my foot lands on the column the wrong way. I hear a tearing sound as I fall, screaming the whole way.
"(Y/N)!" Aiden shouts.
I shift myself during the fall to land on my hands and knees. Fish falls beside me. Good thing cats always land on their feet.
I notice a black shadowy figure.
"Oh, no!" I gasp. "Endermen!" Fish and I duck behind a mound of stone.
I glance up to the columns, then look back down. I try to catch my breath.
I hear a thud behind me. I turn around to see Aiden getting to his feet.
"Oh, my gosh!" I run over to him. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," he says. "What about you?"
I hadn't especially noticed it before, but there is a stinging pain in my knee.
"I think I just scraped my knee," I say.
"You're not bleeding, are you?"
It's adorable how worried about me he is.
"I doubt it."
I brush off my clothes. When I straighten out my skirt, I figure out what tore.
"No!" I feel the mesh bottom layer of my skirt. Sure enough, there's a huge tear. "Oh, my gosh! This is my favorite skirt!" Luckily, the tear isn't very visible.
"Maybe when we get home we can fix it," Aiden says.
I smile and nod. "We should try to find a way to the others." I turn around, only to come face-to-face with an enderman. I scream, and it does too.
"(Y/N)!" Aiden calls, running over to a ledge. "There's a river here!" He jumps in.
I run to the ledge. It's a pretty far drop, maybe a couple blocks. I put my bracelet back on and slowly and carefully sit down on the edge so I can slide into the water. I hold my breath, pinch my nose, and close my eyes. I push myself off the edge with my free hand. For a moment, I go under water, but I quickly bring myself up. The water rushes one way, bringing us with it.
I see that Fish is still on the surface.
"Fish!" I yell. "Come on!" He does as I say and jumps next to me. His fur sticks to his skinny body.
"Hey, now he really is a Fish Stick!" Aiden laughs.
I laugh, too. "Fish Stick" is what Aiden would always call Fish when we were younger. I have to admit, it's a pretty cute nickname.
After a few more minutes of swimming, we come to a waterfall, which we end up falling down. I shriek as we do so. Thankfully, I can see our other friends up ahead. We start to swim towards them.
"Oh, be quiet!" I hear Magnus shout. "It's just a pointless building. That's all I'm saying. I mean, just look at—"
"Magnus," Ellegaard interrupts, "if an artist painted the inside of your mind, they'd end up with the most extraordinary desert scape paintings."
We make it to shore.
"That's it!" Ellegaard says as we walk up to them. "I'm going!" She walks into a hallway, the doorframe next to two statues, one made of stone and redstone blocks and the other of stone and diamond blocks. "Once again, it falls to me to take care of everything. I'll find this 'Super TNT' myself."
"Oh, no, no, no, no!" Magnus says angrily. "You do not get to be the one who walks away." He enters a hallway next to similar statues, just made with emerald blocks and sapphire blocks instead of redstone blocks and diamond blocks. "That's it! I'm going!"
"Isn't that exactly what Ellegaard said?" I mutter say once I think he's out of earshot.
"Pretty sure, yeah," Lukas says.
"Anyways," I sigh. "We should try to get the TNT."
"So, how do we do that?" Jesse asks.
"Just . . . split up into the two hallways, I guess?" I answer.
The others scatter around, waiting for me to choose. Before I do, I decide to check in on everyone.
First, I approach Aiden.
"Look at all of this," he says, amazed. "It's amazing!"
I smile. "Yeah, it's pretty cool."
"It's crazy how Soren built all of this."
"Totally," I respond.
"I really hope we can stop the Witherstorm," he says after a few seconds.
"I do, too." I give a slight smile and pat his back, which is still soaked from when we swam in the river. I walk away.
The second person I decide to talk to is Lukas, who is sitting next to Fish as he clutches his left arm.
"Hey, Lukas," I say, worry plastered on my face and laced into my words.
"Hey." He looks at the ground. I try to catch his gaze, but I can't.
"Are you absolutely sure you're okay?" I ask.
He shrugs. I sigh and walk away.
Next, I visit Jesse.
"(Y/N)?" she says.
"What?"
"Do you . . ." She trails off. "Do you notice anything wrong with Lukas?" She looks over to him. "I tried to ask him, but he wouldn't say anything."
I sigh. "Same here."
As I start to walk away, Lukas calls me over.
"What's up, Lukas?" I ask.
"Do you think that you and I could go alone?" he says. "I have to tell you something in private."
"Uh, sure," I say. I turn to everyone else. "Hey, y'all are going to go and follow Ellegaard, okay?" I tell them. "Lukas and I are following Magnus."
They nod and start going that way. Lukas and I head through our assigned hallway.
*~*~*~*
We turn a corner. We walk in silence for a moment, before Lukas speaks up.
"I feel bad for leaving the others, but I have to talk to you about something," he says. "And, I didn't want to worry them."
"What's wrong, Lukas?" I ask. "You can tell me. I'll always be here for my friends."
"Thanks, (Y/N). I appreciate that." He smiles, and I smile back.
We turn another corner.
"You got me away from the Witherstorm," he continues. "But, I'm wondering if I got away soon enough."
"What do you mean?" I ask as we stop walking.
He slides his left arm out of his jacket. His arm is purple in an area near his elbow.
"Oh, my gosh," I mutter. "What is that?"
"I—" He pauses. "I think it's Wither."
"Wither?"
"Yeah, Wither Sickness." He sighs. "I think it's just going to get worse and worse."
"Well, we need to tell the others!" I say. "We can help—"
"No," he interrupts. "Like I said, I don't want to worry them."
I nod.
I hear hissing noises, only to find out that a creeper snuck up behind us. Before I can get away, it explodes.
"Gah!" I yelp. I grab onto the edge of the hole the monster created, and dangle there.
"(Y/N)!" Lukas calls. He bends down and extends his arm. "Here! I'll pull you up!"
I grab his arm, but he fails to rescue me. I fall to the space below. The amulet is sent flying a few blocks away from me. I look back up to Lukas.
"(Y/N), I'm so sorry!" he says. "I just— I couldn't! Are you okay?"
"Yes, I'm okay, Lukas," I say. "You're the one I'm worried about."
"I'm okay," he says getting up. "I'll be okay. I'll try to find a way to you!"
I nod as he and Fish walk away.
I walk down the tunnel to retrieve the amulet, which lets off a soft glow. I use it to light my way. I weave my way through holes and other obstacles. I finally find a doorway and walk through it into a room, adorned with numerous glowstone blocks. I have no idea what it is, but it's pretty incredulous. I walk through the room until I spot an opening between two large bookcases.
Inside, which seems to be some sort of library, I see a black silhouette. I hear the person mutter something, but I can tell what.
"Hello?" I say, going further into the room. The person quickly turns around at the sound of my voice. I recognize him as the whole reason I'm here.
Ivor. So much for getting here before he did.
"You," he gasps. "Trying to interfere with my plans again, I see."
"What are you doing here?" I ask.
"Being rudely interrupted by you, clearly," he snaps.
"I'm here with the Order to find Soren's Super TNT," I tell him. "We're going to take down your Witherstorm."
"The Order?" He laughs. "Believe me; that plan will blow up in their faces in more ways than one. They cannot help you. But me? I choose not to."
He starts to walk away until I hear a familiar voice.
"You aren't going anywhere," Lukas says as he pulls out a sword.
"Blondie!" Ivor exclaims. "You escaped?"
"The name's Lukas," Lukas says, cornering Ivor. "And, yes, I did."
To our misfortune, Ivor is backed into an area that holds a gold sword. He grabs the weapon. He and Lukas start to battle.
"Come on, Lukas," I say. "Just let him go. He's not worth it."
"No," Lukas refuses. "We need some answers from this guy."
"Which you won't get," Ivor says. "You'll have to figure it out yourself!"
There he goes again, talking about what he calls "the real story", I think to myself.
I pull out my sword to back Lukas up. I get close enough to Ivor so I can pull him away from Lukas. Ivor falls to the floor.
"I'm the only one who can stop the Witherstorm!" he shouts angrily as he gets up. "Not you! Not the Order! Don't make yourselves the villains in my story."
Our swords clash. Luckily, I get the upper hand and push him away. He comes at me again, but I block him with my sword. While he is still fazed by the force of my weapon, I kick him down. As he gets up, Lukas knocks him down again.
I have to say, I've never seen Lukas this angry.
"This could've all been avoided," Ivor says as he gets to his feet again. "If you want to stop me, you'll have to catch me first!" He brings out a light blue liquid and drinks it. He zips around the room.
Somehow, I manage to dodge one of his attacks. Lukas isn't as lucky as I was. I spin around to see Ivor attacked Lukas left and right, whereas Lukas is fighting back weakly. I hit Ivor away with my sword and he zips around me. I swing my sword around a few times before I manage to hit him.
"It didn't have to go this way," he says. "You could've just let me go." He laughs before breaking another potion on himself. "Now, you see me, now you—" He disappears. I hear his cackle.
"Be careful, Lukas!" I say.
"You're not going anywhere, Ivor!" Lukas says.
I manage to see a red splash potion floating on the air. As it is thrown towards me, I manage to dodge it. Another potion appears.
"This one's on you, you blond fool!" Ivor says as the potion sails through the air towards Lukas. I quickly deflect it and send it back towards Ivor. His potion of invisibility wears off just as it hits him.
"There's no time for this," Ivor says, breathing heavily.
"(Y/N)! Lukas!" a voice calls out from behind us. I turn around to see Aiden and the others running towards us.
"Even more of you?" Ivor says. "Will this parade of useless babblers never cease?"
"What's happening?" Maya asks.
"We found Ivor," I say. "We stopped him from leaving."
"(Y/N) did, really," Lukas adds.
"False," Ivor says. "You have stopped nothing." He walks towards us. "A query—have you ever seen the effects of a Splash Potion of Slowness?" He pulls out a bottle of liquid.
"What—," I start before the potion is splashed on the ground. I continue talking, speaking much more slowly. "Are you talking about?"
We try to run towards him, but we are all too slow.
"Magnus and Ellegaard may think they can stop me, that they can destroy the Witherstorm," Ivor says at a normal pace, "but they are mistaken. And it will cost them their lives."
The two bookshelves shut, disabling our chance to get answers out of Ivor.

Here's a really long chapter for you! I hope it makes up for any huge time gaps, especially lately. Saturday, I woke up sick, and I haven't been very motivated to do much but lie in bed and snuggle with my cat.
Okay, so, an explanation: (F/C) means favorite color (mine would be cyan), and (F/S) means favorite singer (mine is Sabrina Carpenter). Just in case you didn't know!
In other news, I was wondering if I should make another Aiden X Reader? I would obviously still write this one, but I was just thinking about it. I mean, maybe something more original than this one (since it basically is the story of Minecraft Story Mode, just with You, the Ocelots, and Jesse instead of Jesse and the gang). So, should I?
Also . . . OMG WE'RE GOING INTO EPISODE THREE!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!!
