(Y/N)'s POV
It's now morning. We're all awake and getting ready to go. We start our search for the temple.

As we are walking, I notice Aiden trailing behind us. He looks upset. I stop walking until he catches up to me.

"Hey," I say. I walk slowly to match his pace.

"Hi, (Y/N)." He also sounds really sad.

"You okay?" I ask.

"Yeah. I guess so," he replies.

"Jesse's just a little upset about Lukas," I try to comfort him. "She didn't mean anything. It's not your fault."

"I know, I know. She just . . . she really got to me."

"Hug?" I hold out my arms. He chuckles and accepts my offer. I've always loved giving people hugs, but may I just say that hugging Aiden is even better?

"Hey, everyone!" Jesse calls from atop a small hill. "I think I found it!"

We all climb up to where she is to check it out. Sure enough, it must be. Stained glass forms a shape much like the amulet—red, green, white, and light blue bars surrounding a blue middle.

"This must be it!" I say excitedly. "Come on!"

We hop down the hill and walk into the building.

"Wow," I gasp, examining the architecture.

We're walking through a hallway. There are little dispensers on the walls, but I really don't want to know what's inside of them.

"Haha, the dispensers look like they have faces!" Gill says. "'Sup, li'l dispenser guy?" I roll my eyes.

We continue walking until we hear creaking.

"Get behind me!" I whisper-shout.

I slowly creep along, being cautious as to where I'm stepping. The others follow close behind. I stop in my tracks when I hear more creaking. Fish arches up his back and runs in front of me.

"Fish! Stop!" I yell. He keeps running. My friends and I run after him.

As we run, we somewhere step on some pressure plates, triggering arrows to shoot out of the dispensers and the gate behind us slam shut.

"Run!" I shout. We all run through, dodging arrows.

We make it safely to the other side, only to find more arrows being shot from wall to wall.

"We're trapped!" Jesse says worriedly.

"Wait! If we turned them on with those pressure plates, don't you think that's how we should be able to turn them off?" I suggest.

In the area we are stuck in, there is a crafting table. "Empty your pockets," I tell them. "We might be able to make something helpful."

We all display our items in front of us.

Aiden has four sticks, Maya has a piece of flint, Gill has a few chicken feathers from the chicken machine, I have two pieces of string, and Jesse has the other one I need—all the ingredients to make a bow and arrows.

First, I make the bow and thereafter craft three arrows. I set the arrow on the bow, pull back the string, and let go. The arrow hits the pressure plate almost dead center. The arrows stop flying.

"Nice shot, (Y/N)!" Aiden says, causing me to blush a little, and because of which Maya nudges me.

We continue walking through the hallway and come across what looks like an enchantment room and decide to look around.

"This kind of looks like Ivor's basement," Gill points out.

I see Aiden crouching down by a bookcase, so I approach him to say hi.

"Hey, Aiden," I say. "Find anything interesting?"

"There are so many books here about the Order," he says.

I pat him on the shoulder and keep looking around.

I come up to a fancy table, one much like an enchantment table, with a book on top. I pick up the book.

"The battle was fierce, but the Order of the Stone emerged triumphant, saving the land and ensuring that peace and prosperity would reign forever," I read out loud.

"Not really forever," Aiden says walking up to me.

I continue reading.

"These five members, five friends, together would give so much to gain their rightful place as five heroes. They would author their own end. They would slay a dragon."

"Ivor was a member of the Order?" Maya asks in surprise. "None of the stories ever mentioned him."

"It's like they just . . . erased him from their lives," I say. "There has to be a reason that they lied about him. They lied to us, and the whole world!"

"But why would they do that?" Maya asks.

"I don't know. Is this what Ivor was talking about when he said 'the real story'?" I contemplate.

"Maybe," Aiden says.

"Well, who cares?" Jesse says. "We have to stop that Witherstorm! More importantly, get Lukas back." She hangs her head.

"Hey, where do these stairs go?" Maya calls.

I walk over to find her standing by a stairwell. "Up?" I say. I start climbing up in curiosity.

"Whoa, this is cool!" Gill exclaims, him and the others following me up. "But what happened to the walls?"

I look around. There are no walls. Just empty space and rubble where walls once were. There are a few cobwebs here and there. Only one wall is left standing, really, and on it is a giant map.

"Hey, this must have been where they met up!" Maya says.

"But, where are they now?" Gill asks. That's the real question.

"Gabriel said that the amulet will help us find the others," I tell them.

"Well, pull it out!" Gill says excitedly.

I bring it out, but nothing happens.

"What is it even supposed to do?" Maya asks.

"That was disappointing," Gill says, his anxious tone dropping.

"There has to be some way," I say. "Maybe there is something we have to do first. Look around and see if you can find anything."

I study the area. Gill is admiring the giant map, Aiden is reading the book that we found in the library, Jesse is sitting in a corner with Fish by her side, and Maya is examining a pedestal.

I walk up to the pedestal, which has a picture of the amulet on the front of it. I place the amulet on top of the pedestal. Nothing happens. I keep looking around.

I stumble upon a row of five levers. I switch on the first lever, and a blue, red, and cyan light comes on. I push the next lever. The red and cyan lights turn off. I push the middle lever, and the cyan light comes back on. I push the fourth, and the cyan goes off and green comes on. I push the last lever, turning on the cyan and white and turning off the green, leaving blue, cyan, and white. I pull the levers a few more times until all the lights are on. When I finally get there, a block emits a beam of light, which passes through the amulet on the pedestal. The light then splits into two other beams; a red light and a green light. They both show up on the map.

"Wow!" I exclaim.

"That's so cool!" Maya says.

The beams of light move around on the map.

"The colors . . . ," I ponder. "Oh! The colors are Ellegaard and Magnus!" I point to the red as I say Ellegaard and the green as I say Magnus. The red has stopped on an island and the green is on a mountainous area.

"We have to get them and save Lukas!" Jesse says.

"And the rest of the world," I add. "If we don't do something, that Witherstorm could eat everything in existence. We can't let that happen. We have to get Ellegaard and Magnus, and if we can, Soren. They might be our only hope."

"I-I think I want to stay here," Aiden says shyly.

Dang, I was really hoping I would get to spend more time with him.

"If Lukas finds us, I need to be there for him," he adds.

"You're a great friend, Aiden," I tell him, laying a hand on his shoulder.

"As much as I hate to say it," Jesse says, "I agree with Aiden. I'll stay here, too."

"Thanks, Jesse," Aiden says. "We can hopefully make this place safer while you're gone. But, some extra help wouldn't hurt. Think one of you could stay behind?"

"Maya can stay here to help while (Y/N) and I go get Magnus," Gill says.

"Me? No, no, no, (Y/N) and I are going to get Ellegaard," Maya protests. "You can stay here with Lukas and Jesse."

"But Magnus is way cooler than Ellegaard."

"Well, Ellegaard is smarter!"

"So? Magnus is cooler."

"You already said that! And besides, the last thing we need is another psycho!"

"No one here is a psycho!"

"What do you call yourself, then?"

"Hey, you two!" I cut in. "Enough arguing! I'll decide who I want to go with."

"And?" Maya asks impatiently.

"I want to go with . . ."
