Axel POV-
Today was amazing, well not fully. I mean there was a ambush, but I got to fight again! It was fun as a war could be. Also Corbin's foot healed up quick, which was good.

Ava POV-
I am sitting in my tent and Echo came in.
"Oh, hi Echo!" I reply.
"Hi, why didn't you check up on Axel when he got hurt?" Echo asks.
I sigh and say
"I didn't want Cor to get mad..."
"What?"
"He doesn't fully like me, since I bullied James in high school...."
"That doesn't stop you from seeing your own brother!"
"Most of the time he has been with Axel in the tent, the only time he wasn't is during battles..."
"Well you are checking up on Axel, and I am coming so Corbin doesn't give you trouble,"
"Thanks.."
Me and Echo walks over to James and Axel's tent. He doesn't have to be in Corbin's anymore.
"Hey....bro.." I say opening the flap.
"Hey!" He says.
"Sorry about not checking on you.....I didn't want to piss of Corbin," I say laughing a tiny bit.
"It's fine,"
"But since I am here, how are you feeling?"
"Eh, my wrist hurts a little from where I broke it, that's it,"
Me and Axel talk for awhile. Then we hear a gunshot, he flinched by it but not much. He grabs his gun and runs out. I run to my tent and I get my gun as well. When I run out, everyone looked confused. Bradley walked over to me and says,
"There is no goldcoats around!"
"Are you sure it was not one of our troops setting off their gun?"
"Yeah, everyone came running out there tents,"
"Wait where is James!" Axel yells out, panicked.
"Wait what!" Corbin yells back. We searched all over camp and in the woods, we couldn't find James.
"No, no, no, no, no, no, no!" Axel yells out, holding his head crying.

James POV-
2 minutes before
I am walking in the woods, I needed a breather. I keep thinking about what happened to Axel, even though it was awhile ago. A minutes later hear a gunshot then I feel a sharp pain in my arm.
"Fuck!" I yell out. Then I felt something hit my head, then black.
