if a headcanon makes someone happy and isn't harmful

now, imo, harmful isn't "i don't like this headcanon". that's not harm.

harm is like

"i think this person is a pedophile to make me feel better about being a pedophile :)"

"i think this person is *insert headcanon* based on incredibly harmful stereotypes and i play into these stereotypes as much as possible :)"

but if someone wants to think *insert character here* is trans because they're trans and it makes them happy? or if they have a disorder that they feel better about when seeing in characters they love?
