say a person's agnostic

but they're pretty sure they believe in something

but they don't know what

and say their family is very very atheist so they don't really have any way to learn about other religions or have any exposure to them

and they kinda gave up on it but at this point they're feeling sorta mixed on it because they wanna understand their thoughts and beliefs even if that decision leads to them deciding they don't believe in any of them

how would one research things and gain more knowledge on the subject?
