When Taylor and Jasmine had finished at the security centre, I was just taking a small nap in my bedroom as I usually do in the late afternoon or early evening. "Where's Karla?", Taylor asked Jasmine as they walked in to the central room to see no one around but still see the chairs and lecturn in their set up. "I don't know, what should we do?", thought Jasmine, "If we walk around, we'll just get lost". Taylor then actually drew his attention to the chairs and suggested that he and Jasmine take a seat until someone walks by and sees them. Soon enough, Sindo was having a stroll through and cleared his throat at the sight of Taylor and Jasmine. "What are you two doin' here? Are you the newcomers to mah Miss' crew?". Both Taylor and Jasmine nodded and then they got up to formally greet Sindo. "And so I guess you're lookin' for her? I'll go and wake 'er up". In no time, I was down the stairs and interacting with Taylor and Jasmine.

As I was doing so, the last three had turned up and had been escorted to the security centre. For Crash and Coco, as they were bandicoots, Officer Brooklyn had insisted they take a literacy test and for Cortex, they noticed something odd about him. Since he was known as an evil scientist, Officer Brooklyn had requested for Officer Goodman to take Cortex to Unit C to have a full body x-ray. For some reason, the officers in the security centre were suspicious that Cortex would have evil and toxic substances inside him. Unlike Taylor who took forever, all tests for Crash, Coco and Cortex were done in almost no time and they all got accepted... Crash and Coco were literate enough and Cortex was not poisonous.

By the time Crash, Coco and Cortex had entered into Unit A, everyone was seated again, including Taylor and Jasmine. Luckily, there were three seats left in the arrangement and the final three had come to fill them up. "And so now that we're all here, we can proceed with our grand plan to try and get Ruth back on our side", I announced. I thought that since we were planning today, the first piece of action would take place tomorrow. "So how do we get to Ruth?", I wondered, "I know roughly where she lives but we need someone to hunt down her exact location". There was then a raised had from Selvian. "Yes Selvian, what is your grand idea?". He cleared his throat but then began to speak. "So, what I was thinking was that if I could borrow a vehicle from you, Bianca and I can spend a whole day at Fountain Gate and track down Ruth from there. She's sure to go shopping at some point in the day". I agreed with Selvian's plan and out of the whole crew, Selvian and Bianca would ideally be the most ideal and most sensible with Ruth. I had a feeling that all the other guards would just be so rude to her and drag her down into the mud, therefore heavily reducing any chance of a reunion between me and her.

Since the first part of the plan had been made, I gave the rest of the crew free time while I brought Selvian and Bianca to the library to discuss their first puruit with Ruth further. Another thing was that they wouldn't even know what Ruth looked like or even who she was as a person, so I had to fill both Selvian and Ruth in with all those intimate details. As with a description of any person, I told them how Ruth and I both met but then after that, how she turned on me. I tell a lot of those around me how we met but I do not tell many about our unfortunate parting as it always upsets me and so it's best to keep it as little known as possible. "Oh dear me, such a valuable friendship gone down the drain. I can see why you want her so much", stated Selvian. I nodded my head at him and my only reply at the time was, "exactly". I always made a habit of saying the word exactly when someone sees my point and I agree with their statement, no matter who it is. "As I said yesterday, maybe I should be the one to talk to her", added Bianca. My next move was to tell them where Fountain Gate was and because everything was far away from the fortress, I was going to lend them a super fast vehicle that could convert into a plane to avoid speed cameras on the ground. The name of my super vehicle was the Tekhnee XPLN-700 with the XPLN an abbreviation for explain.

Our short meeting was nearly over, the last thing I had to do was show Selvian and Bianca what Ruth looked like. "Oh that hair, it's going to be an obvious find", said Selvian. "Don't worry, we'll get to the bottom of this for you", added Bianca. Then I had escorted them out of the library so I could construct the next part of the plan. The next part of the plan wasn't aimed at pursuing Ruth directly but rather doing some more work through dreams and the Chronicler. I suddenly had this new wave of inspiration that I could somehow make Ruth have dreams that would hold some important messages in them. But then again, I couldn't really do anything so grand with the Chronicler in my dream... I'd have to somehow get him to work in the real life, that is, if he existed and so that's what I aimed to find out tonight. There was a strange sniffing noise behind me which had startled me slightly. I turned my head to find out that it was Crash being a sticky beak and then he just stood there, doing nothing. "Yes Crash?", I wondered. Still nothing.

Then all of a sudden I hear, "Yes, the crystal is mine!"... Were they refering to the crystal ball? In came Cortex pointing his ray gun straight ahead. "Uh no, you won't be violating my crystal ball anytime soon or I'll be sending you back to the security centre". Cortex then jolted and held both his hands up, with Crash laughing in the background. "Hey what's so funny you brainless bandicoot?!", yelled Cortex. That's when Crash spun into Cortex and then made him go on a pursuit, firing his raygun all over the place, ultimately trying to get crash. "Oi! Outside! I don't want you wrecking this sacred library!", I said as I used each hand to push both Crash and Cortex back out into the central room to keep fighting there.
