Chapter 1: Pooh?

It's been two weeks since the fight against Kai Chisaki, also known as Overhaul. And in that time a few things happened.

Due to the death of Sir Nighteye, classes were temporarily suspended for students at U.A, mainly for those involved in the fight against Shie Hassaikai. This was for their own good.  And with Nighteye's death, there was a funeral for Pro-Hero, which was attended by everyone involved in the case, including Toshinori. Everyone was sad for Pro-Hero's death, especially Mirio and Izuku, who had sad looks for the loss.

However, even with this tragic occurrence, good things happened in that time.  Like the fall of the Shie Hassaikai, which caused drug distribution and trafficking to be stopped permanently;  which was a relief to the heroes.  And of course, during the case, Izuku rescued a little girl who was being used by Overhaul... her name was Eri.  She was being used to manufacture a drug that destroyed people's Quirks, and because of that, the little girl underwent experiments that no one deserved... especially a child like her.

Upon being rescued, U.A was responsible for taking care of the little girl, so much so that they even made a room for her.  However, even though she was cared for and rescued, the little girl suffered psychologically. Having nightmares and not smiling because of all those times not knowing what happiness was. She didn't even know how to smile and almost didn't trust anyone but Mirio and Izuku, especially the green haired boy.  Who always visited the little girl, however, even with her visits... she was still depressed and suffering from psychological problems.

And now at this moment, we see that Izuku was walking out of the UA gate with Aizawa behind him.

Izuku: "Thanks for your permission, Mr. Aizawa."

Shota: "Okay, but remember what I said: don't take too long to come back. Got it?" – Izuku nodded his head. – "Great... have a good rest, and I hope this helps you think of an idea. I'll keep an eye on Eri until you get back." – It was the only thing he said before turning around and going back to the UA building, while Izuku turned to the opposite side, sighed and walked away.

Izuku: "I hope so too..."

[Hundred Acre Wood]

Changing location, we are in a forest that we can describe as: beautiful! With great fields, beautiful and huge trees, and very alive and well taken care of. It is in this place that some extraordinary living beings live, like one of them, for example, who was walking towards a house, which was inside a tree.

This is Piglet. Piglet is all pink, with darker pink ears. He is usually seen wearing a pink striped sweater. He sometimes wears a scarf, though not very often. He is considered a "very small animal" for being the smallest among his friends. Of course, with the exception of one.

Piglet: "Thanks for your help, Eeyore and Owl!" – He thanked to two living beings who was accompanying him.

One of them is an Owl. Owl is, as its name suggests, an anthropomorphized owl, with light tan plumage on the underside and brown plumage on the head, tail and back. Its three-clawed feet are also brown. He has a small tuft of white feathers just below his beak, somewhat resembling a beard. The area around the eyes is a slightly lighter shade of brown. His eyes are black with pale yellow sclera and his eyebrows are dark brown. The owl's beak is yellow.

As for the other one, who goes by the name of Eeyore, he is a little gray donkey with a depressed look most of the time.

Eeyore: "No problem, but are you sure three pots of honey will cheer him up?" – He asked sitting on the floor while Owl, who was pulling a cart with three pots of honey on top, is beside him.

Owl: "Well, we all know that Pooh loves honey, so what better three big pots of honey all to himself, huh?" – He asked with a smile.

Piglet: "Hehehe! You're right, he'll love this! At least I hope..." - He said that last part in a whisper before turning to Pooh's door and knocking. – "Pooh, are you there?"

They stood there without hearing an answer for 10 seconds, which was weird.. Usually, Pooh would say something when he was going to answer the door before opening it. Then Piglet knocked on the door once more.

Piglet: "Pooh, it's me! M-M-Me, Eeyore and Owl brought you something that will make you very happy!" - He raised his voice in order for Pooh to hear him from inside, but again, none of them got any response.

Eeyore: "Is he sleeping?"

Owl: "It's unlikely. By now he should have answered the door. But we'll only know for sure if we open it."

Piglet nodded, and opened the door to Pooh's house, and as he did, he walked inside.

Piglet: "P-P-Pooh? Are you sleeping?" – He asked worriedly as he entered the house, where he had all the yellow bear's things… except the yellow bear himself. - "Oh, D-D-Dear..."

Owl: "Piglet, what happened?" – He asked curious to see Piglet leaving Pooh's house with a look of concern.

Piglet: "P-Pooh is not here!"

Owl: "Hmmm... maybe he's somewhere else right now. That's no problem, I'll look for him flying through the skies." - He said as he walked away and opened his wings. – "If I manage to find him, I'll let you know! I'll be back as soon as I can." - It was the only thing he said before flying to sky to start looking for Pooh.

Piglet: "Oh D-D-D-Dear... I don't have a good feeling, Eeyore." – He said as he looked around the place, seeing if Pooh was around… and to his concern, he wasn't.

Eeyore: "Like the owl, maybe Pooh is out there somewhere... I tend to do that too."

Before Piglet could say anything else, the two heard the sound of someone approaching. It sounded like someone was jumping. And it didn't take long for them to see that it was none other than Tigger.

Tigger: "Hohohoho! Hello my friends! Have a great Sunday, my friends!" – He said while he continued jumping and was about to leave, however…

Piglet: "Tigger, wait a minute!" – His shout was enough to make Tigger stop jumping and look at him.

Tigger: "Yes? Do you need anything my little friend?"

Piglet: "Did you see Pooh?"

Tigger: "Did I see him? Oh, but of course!" – He said as he walked towards Eeyore and Piglet, who was happy with what he heard.

Piglet: "Really?"

Tigger: "Yeah, he's a yellow bear in a red shirt and he's really love pots of-"

Piglet: "No, I want to know if you've seen him around of the woods?"

Tigger: "Oh yeah! I saw him yeah!" – His comment made Piglet smile again, but... – "I've seen him here, in the rabbit's house, on the bridge, in the bee tree, in the fields, in the trees, in your house, and..." – As he spoke, Piglet's smile faded as he sighed and placed his hands over his face.

Eeyore: "Actually, what we want to know is do you know where Pooh is right now?" – Eeyore interrupted Tigger, who finally understood.

Tigger: "Ah, about that... no. I didn't see him on my way here. In fact, I thought he was at his house."

Piglet: "No, he's not here... oh d-d-dear, that doesn't look good." - He said even more worried as he ran further ahead. – "Pooh? Are you around here?" - He shouted in a loud voice trying to get some answer, but that didn't come.

Focusing a little on the owl, he was still flying through the skies, looking for Pooh. He's already been to several places, he even went back to the bee tree... but he wasn't there. Until he passed by the rabbit's field, who was picking some carrots while humming. And when he saw the rabbit nearby, the owl landed in front of him.

Owl: "Rabbit!"

Rabbit: "Owl? What happen, do you need anything?" – He asked while putting the carrots he collected in a basket.

Owl: "Have you seen Pooh around? We're looking for him."

Rabbit: "No, I haven't seen him. Have you looked for him at his house?" - He said while walking through the field to get some potatoes.

Owl: "Yes, I looked for him everywhere in the Woods, and I couldn't find him..."

Rabbit: "What?" – He asked in shock to hear that. – "Have you looked for him in his favorite place?" – Owl nodded. – "In the Piglet's house?"  – Owl nodded again. – "At Kanga's house? Close to your house? Nowhere else?"

Owl: "I flew everywhere... Pooh is not here."

Hearing this, the rabbit opened his mouth as he dropped his basket to the ground, in shock at this information.

A few minutes later, everyone knowing the information that Pooh disappeared, also decided to look for the bear near their homes, but they did not find him. So worried, everyone gathered in the rabbit's house, where we see everyone gathered and talking worriedly. The problem was that everyone was talking at the same time, which prevented the Rabbit from understanding what everyone was trying to say, even though he suspected the reason for all that despair.

Rabbit: "Please, everyone calm down..." - He said while he was in front of everyone, who didn't stop talking. - "Everyone, please... let's calm down!" - Even though he raised his voice a little, everyone didn't hear what the Rabbit said. Until he lost the patient and... - "PLEASE, COULD YOU SPEAK ONE AT A TIME?!"

Thanks to the rabbit's scream, everyone stopped talking and looked at him, who sighed with relief when he saw that everyone stopped talking.

Rabbit: "Thank you. Anyway, I know that all of you are worried and desperate about Pooh's disappearance. I'm worried too, but if we want to find him, we'll have to think calmly. Because if we get desperate like that, we're not going anywhere."

Roo: "So what should we do?" - The little kangaroo asked carefully.

Kanga: "Since Owl tell us what happened, we tried to look for Pooh near our house, but we didn't find him." – The mother kangaroo also said worriedly.

Owl: "I think we should start to understand why he disappeared, and I doubt it was for nothing." - He said in a calm and thoughtful tone.

Eeyore: "I noticed that he's been acting very differently lately. It even seems like he was imitating me... and that was weird even for me." - He said without enthusiasm.

Rabbit: "I agree! There must be a reason for Pooh to be like that and disappear like that." - He said with his hand on his chin. - "Alright! So who was with Pooh the last time before he disapp-"

Tigger: "Me, me, me, me!" - He interrupted the rabbit's question by raising his paw and squealing.

Rabbit: "Okay, Tigger... what happened last time you ran into Pooh?" - He asked with his arms crossed while everyone looked at Tigger.

Tigger: "There I was, jumping up and down like always to brighten my day! Until halfway through, I saw Pooh standing there watching the sky doing anything." – He said while trying to demonstrate what he saw, thus gaining everyone's attention. – "So I walked up to him and asked why he was so... uhhh... so... hmmm... how do you say...?"

Eeyore: "Melancholy..."

Tigger: "Yes, yes! That word! Anyway, I asked him why he was so melancholy these days, and he said... he missed Izuku." - By saying that, not only him, but everyone had a sad look that showed longing.

Kanga: "And what else happened?"

Tigger: "Huh? Ah, yes! So, the moment he said that, I also said that I miss Izuku too. We all do, but we can't go out there looking for him! So I suggested that he just do something to cheer himself
... up." - He said with a smile before turning to everyone and seeing that everyone looked at him in shock. - "What happened? Is there something on my face?" - He asked while touching his own face.

Piglet: "T-T-Then does that mean...?" - He asked already understanding what happened and getting worried.

Rabbit: "He came out of the Hundred Acre Wood!" - He shouted nervously while pulling his own ears.

Tigger: "Ahhh, good! So now we know where he is! He... h-he... oh no..." - He said already realizing what happened.

Eeyore: "Well, the situation was already worrying. And with this new information... well... if anyone here wants to take a moment to despair, now is the time to do it." - Again he said without excitement, but his words had an effect, because all of them...

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!" - They screamed desperately, except for Eeyore, Owl and Rabbit, who covered his ears while everyone kept screaming desperately when they found out where Pooh go...

He go looking for Izuku.

Rabbit: "Here we go again..." – He said with his hands over his ears to avoid hearing that scream. But to end that despair. – "Everyone, everyone easy there please!" – He said as he walked in the middle of the group, which caught their attention and made them stop screaming desperately. – "First: no panic! Okay, I know this is very worrying! But we're not sure, yet, that Pooh came out of the woods to look for Izuku. Maybe he's still out there of the woods, thinking or maybe sleeping somewhere. So I suggest may each of us continue to search for him once more!" - He said standing in front of everyone with an authoritative tone and a determined look.

Roo: "Okay, but... what if we don't find him again, and that he did indeed come out of the woods into the unknown?"

His question left the Rabbit unanswered. He was thinking about what to do. Going out into the outside world was something none of them had the courage to do, but Pooh did. And now, not only Rabbit but everyone was hoping Pooh would be careful.

Rabbit: "Give me some time to think. For now, let's split up and look for Pooh one more time, and until then... I'll think of something." – He said while looking at everyone, who looked at each other and agreed to separate in different ways to try to find Pooh. With Tigger jumping nonstop in one path, Piglet running in another, Owl flying, and Eeyore walking calmly in another direction and Kanga putting her son in her belly to go look for the bear together.

As for the rabbit, he faced in one direction and said:

Rabbit: *sigh* Good heavens, Pooh... where are you?" – He asked worriedly with his hand on his head before walking in one direction.

[Insert Song: Rolling Over – Low Roar]

In another place, which seems to be a place with several trees, we see a yellow bear with a red shirt walking through the woods. This is none other than Pooh, who stopped walking for a moment and looked back the way he came and then looked straight ahead.

Pooh: "Okay... this is going to be a long way. But I will not give up. Wait for me, Izuku!" - He said with a determined look as he walked further ahead. – "I am coming, my friend."

As he walked, passing from tree to tree, stepping over branch to branch, Pooh continued with a determined look as he continued to remember the times he spent with the boy when he was younger.

(Flashback)

At the top of a tree, a small Izuku and Pooh, who had a pot of honey in their hands, were watching the beautiful forest. But Pooh noticed the serious look on Izuku's face and decided to ask.

Pooh: "Is something bothering you?"

Izuku: "It's nothing, Pooh..." – Little Izuku said with his hands on either side of his cheek.

Pooh: "Are you sure? Something in your face tells me something is bothering you. Did I do something wrong?"

Izuku: "No, Pooh. It's not that, I love being with you and everyone here... it's just... what if there's a day when I'm not here anymore? What if one day we separate?"

Pooh: "Well, as long as we're together, we'll be okay!" – He said with a smile.

Izuku: "I know, it's just... what if one day I'm not here anymore, but somewhere else? And maybe I never come back here? What if by chance... I forget about you and... all of you forget about me?" - He asked with eyes a little teary.

Upon seeing that, Pooh adjusted and sat in front of Izuku while the little bear dried his tears.

Pooh: "Even if that happens, the moment you are not here and you forget, I guarantee you that I will never forget you, Izuku. Even if I have to leave the Forest and look for you to show you that I never forgot from you."

Izuku: "Will you do this... for me?"

Pooh: "I don't see why I wouldn't. After all, as you said yourself... I'm brave that I believe." – He said while standing on the branch, but because of that he slipped and would fall to the ground, but Izuku grabbed him and prevented the bear from falling.

Izuku: "Hehehehe! Your silly old bear." – He said the two laughed together.

(End of Flashback)

And with a flashback ending, we see that now, Izuku who was walking with a thoughtful look on his face as he passed among the people. He looked like his head was full of things and he needed to think. And why is he like this? On account of one person... a little girl named Eri. He and the others tried what they thought, but nothing could make her forget and feel afraid that Overhaul would come back to get the little girl again.

Even with the help of Mirio, Nejire and Aizawa, and with the others wanting to help the little girl, who was afraid of seeing new people she doesn't know, it still didn't seem to be enough for the little girl to feel good. She was grateful, but her look and her face showed the opposite and that bothered Izuku. Seeing the look of fear, sadness and lack of a smile showed that she still wasn't well... and Izuku needed to think of some other idea, but alone.

As for Pooh, we see that he came close to what appeared to be a road. But when he saw that, Pooh saw one more difficulty... which way to go? Pooh stood there staring for five seconds while scratching his head and looking left to right.

Pooh: "Oh bother..." – He said while following the right path. – "I should have eaten more honey..."

As for Izuku, we see that he was getting to the place he wanted to go, but as he walked, he once stopped when he saw a family walking happily with their daughter, but what caught Izuku's attention was seeing what little girl was carrying in her arms... a teddy bear. And when he saw that, the boy seemed to have his mind elsewhere, which made him stand still for a few seconds before he put his hand on his face and walked towards the place he wanted to go... the beach. The same beach he cleaned up when training his body, and because of the peace and beauty of that place... it helped Izuku relax and think... and he needed it.

And as he walked along the sandy beach towards the pier, Izuku didn't notice that he was being watched by someone who was watching him through the railing... this was Pooh, who was squinting his eyes to try to see well because of the sun. afternoon. But seeing that green hair... Pooh's eyes widened before smiling, and walking as quickly as possible towards the boy, who was on the beach pier while watching the sea. As for Pooh, he was running across the sand towards Izuku, who had his arms resting on the wooden pier, with a thoughtful face.

Izuku: "What do I do, what do I do, what do I do...?" – He asked himself with his hand on his face.

Pooh: "Finally..."

Hearing a somewhat familiar voice behind him, Izuku looked back and below him, he saw Pooh watching him with a smile on his face.

[End of song]

Izuku: "Pooh?!" – He asked in shock when he saw the bear behind him.

Pooh: "Izuku!" - He said happy to see the boy. – "I finally found you!" - He said while getting closer to him.

[Insert Soundtrack: It's not Stress, It's Pooh – Geoff Zanelli and Jon Brion]

Izuku: "No, no, that's not possible... WHOA!!!" – He was so shocked that he ended up in the sea water, getting wet while Pooh was confused.

Pooh: "Izuku? Are you there?" – He asked looking for the boy before he appeared and went up on the pier  again, still in shock. – "Ah, there you are! You had me worried."

Izuku: "What?" – He asked before wiping his eyes and seeing Pooh in front of him again, smiling. – "I have to be going crazy... I'm going schizophrenic. This has to be schizophrenia... or is this stress?" – He said as he sat on the floor while watching Pooh, who was staring at him.

Pooh: "It's not stress, it's Pooh. It's my name."

Izuku: "You can't be real... you're not real..." – He said as he brought his hand closer to Pooh's belly, which he felt and the bear too, who laughed.

Pooh: "Hehehehe! That tickles!"

Izuku: "You're real...!" - He said even more in shock.

Pooh: "Of course I'm real. I eat honey, so I am real. By the way, do you have any honey with you? I'm hungry..." – He said with his hand on his stomach, as Izuku stood there in disbelief. – "Walking to this way was not easy." - He said while sitting on the floor.

Izuku: "Did you walk all the way here?" - He asked while looking back to see if there was anyone else watching everything, luckily, there was no one because it was Sunday.

Pooh: "Yes, looking for you."

Izuku: "Where did you come from?"

Pooh: "From the Hundred Acre Wood."

Izuku: "No, I want to know where exactly did you come from?"

Pooh: "Ah, I came from... where did I come from? Was it there... or was it there?" - He said while looking for the place where he came from. – "Hmmm... I don't think I remember. I just know that I walked a lot." - He said thoughtfully while the boy sighed while staring at the sunset.

Izuku: "There won't be time..."

Pooh: "I'm still hungry."

Izuku: "I can't let you leave you here." – He said while carrying Pooh. - "Come with me." - He said as he turned around and walked with Pooh in his arms.

Pooh: "Where are we going?"

Izuku: "For now, let's go to the UA, then we'll find our way back to the Woods... I hope."

Pooh: "Yay! A walk! I love a walk  , especially when you carry me!" - He said with a smile on his face. – "Will there be honey in that place you mentioned?"

Izuku: "Not now..."
