Chapter 2 Teams

As time went on Misa became quite popular no one seemed to dislike her. She had a calm, peaceful, yet she could be sassy and sarcastic. She was an understanding caring person. Soon it was time for the teams to be announced.

" Listen up everyone. Naruto Uzamaki, Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha and Misa Otasaka. You will make a team of four." There were various reactions to this Naruto groaning, Sakura cheering and Misa face palming. Sasuke just looked bored. However deep down he felt slightly better upon hearing Misa was with him. He did not particularly like the girl. Though once she gave him a speech he would never forget.

' Come on Sakura let's celebrate we are together' Misa scribbled happily.

"Sure lets go!"

' Hey Naruto do you want to come?'

"Sure Misa I'm coming."

' Now you two be nice' to each other, oh and Sasuke do you want to join?'

" Hn no. "

' OK see you.'

Sasuke walked along as he thought about what she had written...

Flashback

Sasuke POV

So here I am sitting opposite the new girl.

' It sucks doesn't it when someone you cared for betrays you. You're not the only one who didn't have a pretty past' she wrote. I realised who she meant. I wanted to run but what she said...

' He was my hero, champion whatever. All he ever did was use me. He faked his love. His betrayal lead to something I'll never forgive him for. He said I was useless, a failure, a disaster. That night there was no moon, just thundering rain. That night his true colours showed. My hero, idol, guardian, champion was none other than a traitor. I had for a period of time an insatiable urge for revenge. It hurt, I had a hollow empty feeling, pain, loneliness, fear. I just could not accept it.' She sighed.

How? That's exactly how I felt when...

' Then I just let it go. All the anger. It just flowed out. I felt so gentle and peaceful. I let the revenge go. '

She did it. She did the one thing I just can't do.

' If you ever want an understanding heart, just ask. I'll be there because I know how it hurts. Just trust me it feels so much better, when you let it out. I trust you keep this conversation private. Thank you. Friend. '

Then she left, her multicoloured locks billowing. Her expression was distant yet so calm. She understood me and for the first time I truly felt I had a friend. I did not love her but I knew she created a bond that could not be severed.

Flashback ended.

I still haven't let it go but deep down we both know we had a soft spot for each other.

"Hey Sasuke. Earth to Sasuke. You're spacing out", Kiba groaned while waving a hand across my face. I jumped slightly

'Hn.'

The place I call home.

Misa POV

I walk back home. I stroll through the trees. This is a place no one knew about not even Naruto. I reached the lake. I took of my shoes and focuses the chakra at the bottom of my feet I walked on water. I ran and soon came to a lump of stone. I carry lift it. I had to twist it quite a bit.

Then I jumped into the hidden tunnel. I slid all the way down and when I came out I reached a little cottage. It was surrounded by trees and flowers. This place would make the garden of Eden look plain. It was so beautiful. There were two grave stones covered with pretty flowers. The one to the right had- 

' Here my brave, beloved brother Sion lies in peace forever. '

The one to the right had-

' Here my beautiful, kind sister Nemare lies in peace forever. '

This is the place I call home.
