~Nobody's POV

Lucy left Natsu's office and went back to work. She was sweeping the floor with a smile.

Then she cleaned Natsu's room and did the laundry. She was done and went to the garden. Everywhere where she went were flowers. Beautiful red ones, blue ones, purple ones, white ones and more.

Lucu sat down against a big tree. She looked up at the blue sky, "Guess what mum, I'm joining Fairy Tail soon."

She remembered her mother told her a story before when she was little. It was like fate was slowly fixing the broken pieces.

-Flashback-

Lucy was 10 years and went to sleep. Her mother who was really healthy took her to bed. Layla took the blanket and wrapped it around Lucy. She was smiling. Her family was great.

"Mum, could you tell me a story?" Lucy asked pleading, she may be ten, but she was acting like a five years old kid. Layla chuckled and nodded, "Of course."

She sat down on Lucy's bed.

"One day there was a beautiful woman. She wandered around the town alone in the night. She passed a park where there wasn't anyone. She found it kind of suspicious and went to check.

"She heard weird noises behind the bushes. She looked behind it and there were two men fighting each other. She was so shocked she let out a tiny scream. But it was enough for the men to hear it.

"One man was knockout while the othere tried to capture the woman. She ran away, because of the darkness she tripped. The man followed her and stopped at her.

"She closed her eyes and put her hands in front if her. For protection. But she never felt anything. She opened them and saw the man fighting another man. The new stranger won and looked back at the woman. Fear took over and she began to scream.

"The man came rushing to her side and shushed her. "Relax, I'm not going to hurt you," he whispered kindly. They were in touch and she learned everything about him. He told her he was a part of Fairy Tail, a kind of club. It's was the best thing that happened to him, based on what he told her.

"She wanted to join too, and she did. The man and woman did everything like best friends, but they soon turned into lovers. They were getting married and live a happy life. She told that Fairy Tail was the best...The end."

By now Lucy was falling asleep. Layla stroked her hair and stood up. Then she was thinking, why did she tell her a story about a mafia at all, although she didn't specify it? She was too young.

She just wanted her to have some good story, al though a mafia isn't good at all, the friendship in it is precious.

Besides, she's a kid, no way she would remember it.

-End Flashback-

Lucy chuckled. "I knew I heard Fairy Tail from somewhere."

"What. A. Coincident." Now she was falling asleep on the grass.

She felt at peace. She wasn't super angry at her master, and she did have a roof and food. And friends. Virgo and Aries were great. Aquarius was... strange. Loki was a womanizer but behind that he was kind.

They all were.

Natsu was busy writing letters to different companies. He had to do the emails too and all that stuff. He never gets this much work. He angrily stood up and kicked his chair away. "DAMMIT!" The chair landed against the window, making a loud thump.

Lucy jolted awake. She went to the source.

Natsu kicking almost everthing in his office. She ran to him. He stood there confused and still frustrated.

"Master, please stop. You will damage your own office," Lucy said, chuckling inwardly because his office was already damaged.

He closed his eyes and breathed loudly. He did that for a couple of seconds. "Sorry, can you clean the mess I made, now?" he asked.

She nodded, biting her lip with a fake smile on her face. So she should clean the mess he purposely made.

Every decent human should know when they have to clean up their own mess. She picked the papers and books, sorting them again.

Anger was boiling up inside her though. Couldn't he at least say please?

Natsu watched her word for a second, her tense posture obviously a clear sign to him. He hadn't had the tendency to make it up in any form.

Try running a multi-millionaire business company.

Natsu picked his chair from the ground and went back to working.

Lucy was already done cleaning. You know what they say; the more often you do it, the better.

She walked to his desk and went behind him. He rubbed his head again in frustration.

Lucy knew this was going to be weird, cause she has never done it before out of free will. Well, either this or him staying pissed and commanding her around.

She reached for his shoulders slowly and massaged them. At first he froze at Lucy's hand, but he relaxed a little.

Lucy was massaging him, while he went back to work. It worked so much better. Natsu was completing his work with less frustration.

When Natsu was done he organized his papers, Lucy took this as a sign and stopped. He leaned backwards in his chair.

"Continue," he said, nodding, liking her hands. She had been doing it for 30 minutes already.

Lucy grew again tired of massaging him. Her arms were getting lower by the second. Suddenly Natsu placed his hand on hers. "You can stop now."

She nodded and went to the couch on the right. She lazily lay on it, almost falling asleep. Natsu chuckled a little at the position she was in. Her arms wide open, same with her legs (don't think dirty✌️️).

Lucy fell asleep with the last thing she remembered was a chuckle.

Natsu lifted Lucy up, carrying her bridal style. He went to her small room and placed her down. She looked so peaceful, she deserved a good rest. Natsu caressed her face and she moved a little from that. She didn't wake up, but leaned in.

Natsu couldn't help but to notice that.

He could at least treat her with some respect, knowing she earned it. When he messed up his office and ordered Lucy to clean it, she'd shut her mouth and complied.

She wanted to shout, but chose the quietness over conflict.

She knows what she's doing.

-Next week-

Lucy was cleaning as always, she couldn't stop thinking about one thing. Today she was going to join Fairy Tail. She was sure of her decision.

But she found one thing strange. Natsu didn't allowe her to go to her own room. So she has slept with him a week. She was beginning to get so familiar with his warmth.

She hummed a song and walked to Natsu. He knew what she was going to say.

"Alright, let's go," he said. She smiled excitedly and nodded. Maybe she shouldn't be that excited about someone who's going to join a mafia. With all the killing...

But she was. She wanted to meet knew people, get a good friendship.

Natsu was tense all the way. Lucy would be joining, that means she can be in danger.

They went behind an old house and there was an opening. Yep, it's the secret base of the mafia.

Natsu opened the door and went inside followed by Lucy. She could hear people having fun, it was a nice feeling.

Once Natsu entered it went quiet. Their eyes narrowed in alarm when Lucy came into view.

Lucy saw Gray, Jellal, Gajeel and Laxus there too. They shared a quick glance with each other, before looking at Natsu.

The nodded at him and bowed their head slightly. You really had to look at them to see it. Respect.

Of course they were a member too. Everyone has a secret apparently.

Natsu raised his hand and the members dropped their stance. He gave the members a look and they went to pick drinks. Lucy was atonished by it, Natsu only had to look or whatever and they understood him. Lucy went to sit on the couch, legs crossed like a lady manner.

She got champagne from a girl who she befriended quickly, her name is Ellie.

It was quiet and Natsu stood in the middle of the members. Lucy stood up too and stood in front in him, well a few meters away.

He raised his glass up. "Today, we've got a new member. Her name is Lucy Heartfilia. I want you to treat her like how you treat an equal. Make her feel welcome. Cheers to the new member," he said with a pokerface, if a stranger sees it, they'll think he doesn't like it a bit. But the members know he is happy.

"TO LUCY!" they cheered. She feels welcome already. Then they began to party. She would have a conversation with some members and they became friends. She danced a lot and then went to the side. The secret base got a bar.

She sat by the bar, she didn't drink though.

Soon Gray and the boys came.

"Yo, Lucy," Gray greeted.

"Welcome," Jellal said shortly, but he meant well.

"Yo, bunny girl," Gajeel said. Lucy raised her eyebrow offended. And Laxus didn't say something at all.

He did nod at her though.

Lucy smiled. "Hey guys."

Then there faces became from happy to serious.

"How did you know about FT?" Gray said.

Lucy chuckled a little. "Long story, well Natsu and I had I verbal fight. He didn't trust me and accused me. So later he admitted his mistake and wanted to make it up. He told me that I can have everything, but I chose to learn about him more. We asked questions about each other, but I just wanted answers, and I got it."

They nodded and they all went back to the party, but Jellal stayed. They had a conversation and they liked each other, in a friendship way.

"So what does Erza like?" Jellal blurted out.

Lucy grinned. "Why?" she teased.

"Just answer," he demanded.

"Cake. Definitely strawberry cheesecake."

"Thanks," Jellal said and his cheeks became a little pink.

Soon Natsu came to Lucy and the boys too. He went to sit in front of her, smirking.

"This is a party, so why don't you drink?" he asked. The boys were quiet.

"Uhm...I just don't drink," she said.

He shoved a drank to her, she could only assume it is something with alcohol.

"Drink," he commanded. She gulped and shook her hand. "Why?"

He only looked blank at her. "I said 'drink,' so listen to your boss."

She never tought Natsu would force her to do something she obviously didn't want to do.

"Why?" she repeated.

"Because I say so," he said simply with authority.

"No. You can't force me. We're members, remember? Treat me with respect," Lucy said.

His smirk turned to a smile, making her confused. "You pass," he said back to his normal voice. "Huh?" she asked still confused.

He chuckled. "Did you really think I would force you? Everyone in the mafia must pass the test. I need to know how determined someone is. So I act like I force you to do something. If you accept it and do it, you don't have the thing a mafia needs. If you don't do it, it means you are strong," Natsu explained.

Lucy nodded and went to stare straight in front her. "Are you mad?" Natsu teased.

She wented to think about it and faced him again. "A little," she answered hoenstly.

He smiled wide and ordered a juice. He picked the glass and shoved it in front of her again. "Would you want to drink this?" He asked, a little mockingly, this time.

She nodded and accepted the glass with juice. They would have a nice conversation. "That you know it, if we are in the mafia or something like that, I'll treat you almost equally, but home you are still my slave," Natsu said, no trace of cruelty though.

Lucy nodded, a little upset that didn't change.

They chatted, danced and played games all day.

She felt great.
