The Story of The Crush: PART VIII
Okay, I'm okay.
"AH! Hyung!" I groaned at the sight of my dying love that is lying in my palm.
"Wha—what?" Jimin hyung jogged to my side, looking over my shoulder to see what I am referring to. Then he looks at me before looking at the fridge that is right next to me. I heard him choke into laughter right after. "Don't tell me you actually put that in there?"
"But you told me so!" I snapped my head to his direction and glared him daggers. "You told me that it will cool down after I put it there for thirty minutes!"
Still chuckling, he took my phone from my grasp and examines it. He turned it on using the button but the screen won't respond to his touch, similar to what has happened to me seconds ago. He shook his head and returned the thin material to me.
"Are you sure you're on top of your class? Because for me . . . your head . . ." He pointed his head. "it's empty."
"But why did you lie to me?"
"Why didn't you use your common sense? It's clear that I was only joking!"
"But I was desperate! It was burning up, so I seriously asked you for help. And it wouldn't have happen in the first place if you didn't force me to play with you!"
"Eyyy . . ." Another chuckles escaped his lips as he nudges my shoulder with his fake punches. "You enjoyed playing with hyung, otherwise we wouldn't be doing it for three hours straight."
This is why I hate having the same rest day as him.
"Okay, how about this . . ." He pursed his lips and thinks. He rests his small hand on my shoulder, giving it a light squeeze before I jerked his arm away in annoyance. He chuckles again. "I'll contact my close friend's father, and he has a repair shop nearby. We'll go there tonight." Then he messes my hair.
And we did, but it didn't lessen any of my worries anyway.
"Give me four days." Said the old man with glasses, age has took away the darkness of his hair. He lied the thin material on the flattened surface after giving it a look for six seconds.
"F-four days?" I gulped. How can I manage to survive four days without phone and without texting you?
"Okay, three days then."
"What? Why would it take three days—" I cut myself off when the old man suddenly and loudly cleared his throat, giving me a bored but stern look.
"Listen kid. I have many phones lined up waiting to be fixed, and I'm just doing my son's friend a favor. Do you want me to take back the 50% off from your bill?"
"But uncle, how much it will take if I pay the full price so it could be fix a bit quicker—" Jimin hyung suddenly leaned on my ear and whispered me the price. He knows the shop well, he has hanged out here with his close friends many times before. "Okay, sir. I will wait for three days." I showed the oldest a fake smile after.
Isn't this great?
Okay, I'm okay.
