I grinned as Haruhi laughed at my stupid joke, feeling proud and excited that she enjoyed it so much. She was literally crying tears of joy and clutching her stomach, kneeling on the floor with me as she laughed.

You don't got a thing to prove

When she looked up into my eyes and smiled, having calmed down a little..

I knew that she would be mine.

When Haruhi told me she loved me for the first time, as more than friends, I was shocked. But also ecstatic.

I couldn't find the right words to say, just blurting out jumbled sentences before I finally gave up. Instead, I took her by the hand and pulled her in for a kiss.

Plus all then words get buried when the beat's so loud
And the speakers blowin' up to this dance song—

And as we danced under the stars, pretending to be elegant and posh before breaking character and laughing, I had a revelation.

I stared at Haruhi as she hugged me, grinning from ear to ear.

How did I manage to get a girl like her?

So

And if I'm being completely honest here..

"You had me at hello," I conclude, everyone tearing up at my speech.

After some minutes, the priest said to us, "You may now kiss the bride."

Haruhi lunges into my arms and presses her lips on mine for our last kiss as girlfriends, and our first kiss as wives.

I couldn't be happier.
