But as I said earlier, I working on plans for my books, most notably, 'Star bound'. However I've noticed a lot of the themes I would like to address are a bit - For lack of better word - full on. I don't want to spoil the book but I'm worried that this might affect the how readers perceive what is happening, specifically the ending. As you know,mi like to address real word problems within in books, most commonly mental issues such as Emma having PTSD and depression and Shimmer having anxiety. I try to make my characters go through hardships and react to them with what realistic for the character and the human body/mind (example with Emma being a rebellious and standing up for herself with little regard for herself when faced against her parents and Paige being more submissive and obedient to Ghetsis) this is partly why I unpublished 'First Light' as I feel Lilac opened up a little to easily considering she was a slave her whole life.

Anyway, I wanted to assure with you that readers would be alright with reading 'Star bound' once the harsher themes come into play such as depression, suicidal thoughts (possibly acts) and so on. There's isn't really an easier way I could take because of Shimmer's personality. The song below is one of the main inspirations for the book and should give you a decentish idea of what I mean but please let me know what you think and if you think it'll be okay.
