The sword of dread.

So in this story Kari will play the role of the protagonist of the story while Kira is the antagonist.

Problem for both of them is... they're the same person...

Both Kari and Kira work for opposite sides of a war. Kari serves the side of light, she is an angel of light and is head of the Yang army. Although angel of light she has a smart ass/badass personality. She has a high temperament, especially against sexist guys. She draws in her power from the Sword of Hope which lyes hidden at a secret location.

Kira is an angel of darkness. She has a similar personality to Kari but she uses it for evil rather then good. She serves in the Yin army but thanks to a friend of Kari, Kira is unable to return to her army because Kari requests that whenever Kira is 'in charge' of the body she is locked in her room to prevent her doing any damage.

Fern the Grovile belongs to both Kira and Kari and does what it can to protect them both. She doesn't have a favourite among the two but often has to make her own decision to protect the both of them.

So basically Kira starts gaining more control over Kari and the body they share. Normally Kira has control from dusk until dawn while Kari is dawn until dusk. Together Kari and a friend of her's figures out that it has something to do with Kira's power source, The sword of Dread and they try to figure out a way keep their balance even.

So out of eight drafties last year, only two didn't get made. Pretty good I think. :)
