Part 9

Jack rubbed his bare arms, side stepping away from the wall and Yandereplier.  Keeping his voice calm sounding, Jack asked him.  "You wouldn't happen to know where my shirt is"?  Yandere's body tensed up as he brushed back his red bangs, asking a bit defensively.  "Is there a reason you want it"?  Yandere's eyes had a hidden darkness that made Jack almost too scared to reply.  However, backing away into the kitchen in a subtle attempt to keep the island between them.  Jack hesitantly told him.  "You mentioned that me being shirtless was distracting... So, I thought... I should put something on"?  Yandere walked up to the other side of the kitchen island, leaning his arms against it.  Yandere wasn't looking at him anymore as he pondered that thought.  He was staring at the counter.  Jack boldly backed up against the kitchen counter.  There was a knife block... If he could manage to get one... Maybe he could threaten his way out?  Slowly reaching back over the counter, he blindly felt around for the wooden block.  He had to keep his eyes on Yandere.

Yandere struck the table with his hand, looking up as he said aloud.  "OH, What's the point? I'll only want you to take it off when you put it on anyway. So, leave it off".  Yandere's outburst caused him to jump and knock his hand into the propped up cutting board.  It fell against the counter with a loud 'bang' and Jack turned away from Yandere.  He was busted!  He didn't dare to move!  Closing his eyes tightly, he tried to pretend like he hadn't done anything.  He could almost feel himself sweating bullets as he listened to the soft pattering of Yandere's shoes against the tile floor.  He was walking around to him.  Jack's mind was racing with screaming voices that overpowered one another.  Should he run?  Should he fight?  What would Yandere do?  Did Yandere even notice what he had been going for?  By the time a voice yelled out 'grab the knife', Jack opened his eyes to find Yandere standing right in front of him!  Taking a hesitant step back, Yandere reached out for his cheek, speaking softly to him.  "I'm sorry, Senpai. Here I have been ranting on. You must be hungry. Let me feed you".  Jack quickly moved away before Yandere's hand touched him, stating a bit shaky.  "No, that's fine. It's fine. I mean, I'm fine".

Yandere snapped his fingers and happily moved to the frig, excitedly expressing out.  "OH! You should eat my pizza! I made it just for you"!  Yandere ducked into the frig and Jack made a mad dash for the bedroom.  He'd lock himself in and think of something.  Only... when he ran in... there was no door?  Jack blinked in surprise.  What kind of a room didn't have a door?!  Jack took in the room quickly, but the second his eyes saw the bed... and the... closest shrine to him... Jack felt like this was NOT the place to be!  He'd try the bathroom.  That had a door, right?  Turning around, he whined softly as Yandere jumped into the doorway.  Holding out the pizza on a round pan, Yandere told him proudly.  "See, Senpai? I worked REALLY hard on this! It took all of my best efforts to keep Wilford from taking slices! But this was intended for you and YOU only, Senpai"!  Jack looked down at the pizza.  It wasn't bad looking.  Sure it was heart shaped... and had a lot of cheese on it... but it at least 'looked' edible.

Politely shaking his head, Jack told Yandere tenderly.  "It looks great... but I'm not hungry".  Jack regretted it the second the words slipped out.  Yandere's body stiffened and the pan started to shake as he told Jack in a serious tone of voice.  "Senpai... You'll hurt my feelings if you refuse this. I worked so hard on it. Now put this inside you"!  Jack backed away and Yandere followed.  His facing darkening and Jack could swear that some kind of black shadowy outline was appearing around Yandere's body.  Almost like a visually disheartening aura!  Jack's legs hit the edge of the bed and he fell back onto it, telling Yandere in a rushed terrified voice.  "Wait! Shouldn't you heat it up first"?  In that split second the dark aura was gone and Yandere chuckled out.  "Oh, ya! I'll be right back"!  Jack watched Yandere dash out of room, before falling back against the bed.  His poor heart couldn't take this.  The stress was just too much!

Pulling himself together, Jack rolled off the bed and crept for the bathroom.  Slipping inside, Jack closed the door excitedly... only to strike the door hard and curse at the realization that there was no lock!  It was like this place was designed to keep him in!  Free, but caged.  Moving to the sink, Jack turned on the cold water to splash his face.  There had to be a way out.  He could smash the large window in the living room... but what was the point?  He was scared of heights.  Sighing to himself, Jack opened the door and jumped back!  Yandere was standing just outside the door!  Cursing loudly, Jack snapped back.  "God damn it! Stop that! You're going to give me a heart attack"!  Yandere shook his head slowly, stating bluntly calm.  "Why are you trying to get away, Senpai? Don't you know how that hurts me so? Have I not done something? What is it that you need"?  Jack licked his dry lips, shaking his head nervously as he answered.  "I'm not trying to get away. I just felt a little warm and wanted to cool down".

Yandere took a step into the bathroom, lifting a brown leather bond book up for him to see.  It meant nothing to him... but Yandere told him in a stern voice.  "DON'T LIE TO ME. I read what you have been trying to do, Senpai. That's not very nice. That kind of behavior could make me lose it. You wouldn't want me to lose it and kill the very people you're trying to get back to now? Would you"?  Jack raised a curious eyebrow, asking Yandere as he pointed to the book.  "Didn't you give that to the Host guy? And what do you mean you read what I've been doing"?  Yandere's expression softened into a bright red blush and he move the book behind his back, childishly admitting.  "It's 'MY' story. Dark made him write the beginning for me. Why should I have to give it back? So, I may or may not have... given the host a fake. He'll figure it out eventually. I mean... come on. He wrote this place into existence for me to be able to keep you here. So... If anything happens to this book, I could end up losing you. And I can't trust the Host with your life! You belong to me and only me"!  To Be Continued...
