Since Zhan and Yibo saw 9 days ago lights in the sky, which as they found out came from an airplane, the eyes and ears of all residents of the hotel were constantly directed to the sky. And indeed, the small two-engine plane has been seen 38 times since then, and by many different hotel residents.

Since it was completely unclear why the pilot seemed to fly the same route over and over again, the general sent a few of his men to follow this plane. Of course, this is not an easy task, but they still managed to find out that the pilot and two other people, a woman and a child, were living in a tower at a small airport.

After learning this, the general made his own way to talk to them and offer the three of them to move into the safety of the hotel. They gratefully accepted the offer and moved into the hotel that same day. Having a pilot who flew large passenger planes could turn out to be very useful. Therefore, everyone was happy when he moved into the hotel with his wife and 7 year old daughter.

Besides finding out who the pilot is and what his intentions are, more happened at the hotel involving Zhan and Yibo. After the hotel's board of directors and their guards had been eliminated, the task now was to find out who else agreed with the methods used by the board and shared their views. Because these could become a renewed problem sooner or later.

So, in order to prevent a spark from becoming a wildfire again, the general and Yibo, in his capacity as a police officer, began to interrogate the residents one by one. After a week, they had taken 53 more people into custody, who clearly stated that they liked what the board had done and would do so themselves.

Now that these people had been found, Zhan and Yibo had to decide what to do with them. Would Zhan and Yibo be willing to have these people shot so that they would no longer have anything to fear from them? Or could they find another solution? Because among the 53 people, there were about 30 people between the ages of 16 and 22.

After careful consideration, Yibo said, "I am against killing them all. Yes, they could become a danger and we can't leave them here. But killing them is out of the question for me. We should consider that many of them are between 16 and 22 years old. They don't have any life experience. They were still in school or college when the black creatures descended on our country. They were and are scared and fixated only on their own survival. We should try to steer their thinking in a different direction."

"And those who are older than 22 years? What should happen to them?" Asked the general.

"Well, I think we should get further investigation from these people. We should find out more about them, ask their living groups how they behaved there in the group. Whether they were helpful, could adapt and things like that. And then we'll decide about them." Yibo replied.

"I agree with Yibo. Um, I have an idea what we could do with these people. They can't stay here in custody forever. How about we turn the prison back into a jail? We could put them there under supervision and try to re-socialize them. That means teaching them to become valuable and above all, peaceful members of society. To learn that there are other ways than violence and death to survive. We do not lock them up in cells, they can move freely in the prison. But, they can't just get out of there either." Said Zhan after he did some more soul-searching and thinking.

"This is a good idea ZhanZhan. I think this could be a very good solution and we wouldn't have to kill anyone. We could give them Experienced People to show them that we can maintain and even improve our standard without the methods of the Board. We want them to see that no one will or has to starve just because we have elderly people with us who can no longer work. And they should also learn that we will continue to let people who seek help and protection come to us in the hotel and they will not be harmed by it." Said Yibo.

"Listening to you two, I feel really proud. I think you should have become politicians rather than surgeons and police officers. It's good to know you're thinking about everyone. And thinking about how to find peaceful solutions." Explained the general.

However, Zhan and Yibo also reminded him that they could not take the 53 people to the prison immediately. Because still the horde of vampires was on the way and it was still unclear whether they would find the hotel or the prison. "The prison does have good strong walls and fences. But against this horde, the walls won't hold." Reminded Zhan.

The general nodded and then explained, "My strategists and I have already talked about this. We have an idea that might work."

"And what is that?" Zhan and Yibo asked in unison.

"We're going to burn them. The pilot could take one of the crop dusters and spray the vampires with fuel as he flies over them. Then we'll set them on fire." Said the general.

"Isn't that too dangerous dad? I mean, we can't control the fire that way. There could be massive fires happening." Gave Zhan to consider.

"We thought of that too. We'd be luring the vampires into the city. I promised to burn down all the vampires there anyway."

Yibo looked at Zhan and shrugged. "I'm not supposed to care. As long as no harm comes to us, the hotel, or the prison, I'm all for it. But if you're going to set the town on fire, along with the horde of vampires, then we should make sure that the fire can't spread beyond the town. And you don't have much time to prepare." Yibo finally said and Zhan agreed with him.

Zhan's father then explained to them that he had everything under control and that the two should not worry. The meeting then ended. The general then announced Zhan and Yibo's decision on what to do with the 53 people over the loudspeaker. And this decision was well received by the hotel residents. A few were even relieved that especially the younger of the 53, do not have to die and get a second chance.

Now that they have been back at the hotel for two weeks, Zhan and Yibo have also resumed their work. Zhan is back in the operating room and Yibo is monitoring the hotel, along with his colleagues. Everything seems to be back to the way it was before Zhan and Yibo left the hotel.

Only one thing had changed fundamentally. The attitude of Yibo's parents. They were suddenly even really crazy about Zhan. Yibo had to laugh a lot in the last two weeks because of that, when he saw Zhan hiding when Yibo's parents came and asked for their son-in-law. Suddenly, it was just as Yibo had dreamed. He felt a happiness inside him that he couldn't possibly describe.

And knowing that very soon he will marry Zhan made Yibo walk around all day happy and with a big grin. He lost many things in the apocalypse, his job, his apartment, friends. But without that, and he was well aware of this more than anyone else, he probably would never have met Zhan.

Whenever he thinks back to that horrible day when the black creatures showed up. Must he think of how all he could think about was wanting to reach the hospital. He was firmly convinced that he would find help there, and he did.

At that time, it now seems like years ago, he believed the survivors would gather at the hospital. But actually, he should have known better when he looked around after he left the police station and realized in what condition the city was. Still, nothing could stop him from dragging himself all the way to the hospital with his bleeding and aching wound on the back of his head.

It was as if something inside him sensed that he absolutely had to go there, because it was his destiny to find Zhan there as the only survivor and to start his Dangerous Journey with him. Only to be able to fall in love with him and thus fulfill his destiny. At least that is exactly what Yibo believes. He is firmly convinced that Zhan and their love for each other is his destiny.

And after he and Zhan, met Zhan and Yibo, or rather Lan Zhan and Wei Ying, from another dimension in the tunnel maze, he was only more convinced that Zhan and no one else, can be his destiny. He is sure he could only love Zhan, never anyone else. Therefore, Yibo also vowed that he would destroy anybody who would dare to try to destroy his relationship with Zhan. Never would he allow anyone to try to take his Zhan away from him.

But not only Yibo is absolutely convinced that his and Zhan's fates are connected, so is Zhan. Since the two of them, Zhan and Yibo from another dimension, Zhan also believes that the two of them belong together, not only in this dimension, but in every other dimension.

And as if to confirm this conviction, something happened to the two of them that they did not expect. They came back to their room after having dinner with their parents, and there were visitors sitting on their bed for the two of them. They were not even startled when they saw Zhan and Yibo from the other dimension sitting there. Rather, they were happy to see the two of them again.

The reason for the two to meet them again was that they had a gift for Zhan and Yibo from this world. Two golden rings in the shape of a crown, offset with tiny diamonds and the engraved words, "Two against the world."

Together they sat in the room and talked about their lives. Zhan and Yibo were quite amazed when they heard how Lan Zhan and Wei Ying grew up. They would never have guessed by looking at them that they grew up in an orphanage, went to school normally, studied and were about to start their first real job.

"We lived a life just like you guys. Just without parents." Explained Lan Zhan.

"Mhm, but we had Mother Superior to take lovingly care of us four boys all these years. We wish we could see her again. But unfortunately, this is not possible. Because while for the humans only a few weeks or months have passed, in our world it was more than two years. So how could we explain to our Mother Superior how we could change so much in so few months?" Added Wei Ying.

"Well, you can do magic. Can't you use a cover spell or something? So that you look like you did when you left your Mother Superior?" Yibo wanted to know.

The two then explained to them that it would not be that easy. Of course, they could disguise their true appearance with a spell. But, this does not work on people or humans who are close to them. Apparently, they should succeed in breaking the spell. And the fear of this happening keeps them from visiting the Mother Superior.

"But we visited her in one of her dreams and talked to her. We explained to her what happened and told her we were sorry we couldn't say goodbye to her or come back home to visit her." Said Lan Zhan.

"Yes that's right. And she smiled and said to us that she has always known that we are very special. She said that she has always been convinced that we are not from this world. And then when we told her that my parents were the rulers of the heavens, that means the Heavenly Emperor and Empress, she laughed and said, so I was really, a gift from heaven." Added Wei Ying.

A/N: In the next chapter, we will continue with the four of them. It will be a chapter about Zhan, Yibo and Wei Ying with Lan Zhan. There will be a crossover of both worlds, where Zhan and Yibo will get to know the magical world of Lan Zhan and Wei Ying. So the crossover of "Oh My Apocalypse" and "Mysterious Island Prince." I will try to write the chapter tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.
