Pov Calum

'Why did you allow my mother in this city?' I yelled as my fists made my way down on the chest of the one who caused my anger.
'Calum..' He tried but I wasn't going to listen no matter what.

I used him as a punching bag while thinking about.. everything.

'My mom abandoned me and now you allow her to walk around freely?'

My hands kept punching the one I loved until he flinched away and grabbed my wrists.

'Calum that's enough,' his voice was strict, 'It's starting to hurt now.'
'I'm sorry.'

I sit down on the couch hopping he would still answer my questions.
Instead he just walks out of the room leaving me behind shocked and confused.

'Where are you going?' I called after him. 'For a walk, you're clearly not in the right mindset to talk right now.'
'Alone?' 'Yes.' 'But what if..'
'Enough.'
'Take Raven with you I'm safe in the house.'

He doesn't respond anymore, but I hope he's not that stupid to go out alone.

'

'Hey Calum.. Calum?'

I groan when I get woken up from my lap.

'Levi?' 'Not quite.'
'Raven?' 'The one and only.'

I open my eyes and stare right into his.

'Wait.. if you're here.. who's with Levi?' I mumble. 'Uh..'

I dash forward and want to leave immediately.

'Calum relax, I'm sure there's someone with him, he's not stupid.'
'Do you know where he run off to?'
'He didn't tell me. Anyway how was the meeting with your dad?'

Change the subject just like that.

'Horrible, but I'm still here.'
'So you're not taken away right?'
'Nope.'

We keep talking for a while, but I don't spill anything about what happened at the meeting.
I need to talk to someone though..

'I think I'm going to Gray's.'
'I can drive?' He suggests.

'

'Sky! Hey buddy, hey!'

Enthusiastically me and the big ball of floof meet.

'I missed you too.'

I heard a cough behind me making me turn around.

'I'm heading back to the house, if you want to go home just call me.'

I nod and turn my attention back to the dog.

'Has Gray been nice to you? I bet he gives you lot of treats, because who wouldn't with your cute little face.'
'Are you calling my dog fat?' 'No!'

I get up again and pull him into a hug.

'It's been so long,' I murmur.
'It's dangerous for you and Levi to go out much, I know don't worry. Assuming you're here now, what's wrong?'

I sighed and pulled away.

'I want to die,' I mumble.
'What no?' 'Just for a little bit, not permanent,' I explain.
'So you mean sleep?'
'Something like that,' I take a deep breath, 'I saw my mother and now Levi just allowed her to live here.'
'Okay what? Sit down, I'll get you some tea.'

I walk towards the living room and sit down on the velvet loveseat in the middle of the room.
It was the first thing he bought for his new home inside this city.
Stupid if you think about it, who buys a couch first?

'Here you go, chai tea like you used to drink all the time.'

I nod as a thank you and let my body slump into the couch. He sits down next to me waiting for me to spill whatever is on my mind.

'We had a meeting with my father and..'

I get interrupted by Sky who jumps onto the couch to sit between us and  lays hid head down on my lap looking at me with bright blue eyes.

'And my mom was there things were awkward and she didn't want to see me so she wanted to leave than my father threatened she would end up in jail if she left. Something was off about her behaviour and Levi just told her she could live here and..'
'Breathe Calum.'

I take a deep breath and point my eyes down to my slightly trembling hands. Sky stares at me with sad eyes, whimpers and starts placing kisses all over my hands.

'I'm alright buddy,' I whisper as I start petting his grey head.

'And what happened after?'
'She told me she was forced to stay out of my life, but that's just complete bullshit! I don't want her close to me, she ruined that for herself. I know nothing about her and I don't want to know.'

He sighs and puts his hand on my shoulder in a careful movement.

'Levi is like that some times, vague and unexplainable, but he has his reasons for it and it never really disappoints,' he explains.
'I can't deal with it.'
'He forcefully married you and you didn't know shit about eachother.
I can assume it must be confusing and hard to find out all of these new things, but there's no chance to say no to marriage anymore.. well divorce.'
'I'm not going to divorce him.. I love him.'

He sighs but decides to stop talking about this subject, just to change it into another uncomfortable one.

'Do you remember when you asked me if I was over you a while back?'
'On the beach right?' I reply.
'Yea.. so uh, I said I didn't know at that moment.. I know now, do you want the answer?' 'I guess.'
'I'm not.'

Both our phones starts buzzing giving me no chance to react to his statement.

'It's about Levi, come.'
