'You said Rose wasn't alright, tell me.'
'I'm waiting for them to leave.'

His hand points out the guards and Levi, who was hanging against a column.

'You'll be waiting for a long time,' Levi replies with an annoyed glare.
'Okay,' he leans back in his chair, 'Then we'll do that.'

I didn't expect him to actually keep quiet.

'Calum come, this is hopeless.'
'No I.. I need to know, can't you leave?' 'No.'

This time it's my turn to groan.

'What about a restaurant or café? You guys can watch from distance.'
'No.' 'Levi please,' I beg with puppy dog eyes. 'Darling puppy dog eyes never work with me.'
'Even if it's me?' 'Yes even if it's you.'

I stand up and walk towards him while he just looks at me with a smirk. I stop in front of him and give him a dead glare.

'Is this meant to be intimidating, because you look adorable.'
'I will leave you,' I murmur.

He sighs and rolls his eyes.

'Restaurant it is then, it's almost time for lunch anyway.'
'Thanks!'
'I love your smile,' he mumbles.

He finally walks away from the column and signs to the guards.
I feel his arm around my shoulders for that extra safety as he leads me and the others to the venue.

'Tell me about Rose.'
'She's fine, I just needed a reason to get you alone.'

Of course.. I could have known, it's too predicable.

'I still want to know how she is.'
'She started working again, not with us and she seems happier.'
'What did she do with the necklace?'
'She put the pieces in a bottle charm and is wearing that now.'
'Good.'

'Anyway, do you have a way into the lab?' 'Getting straight to the point I see,' I mutter, 'Why?'
'I need an antidote and I can't get them, all of it is sold out.'
'For yourself or?' 'My wife.'
'Wait you have a wife?'
'She's pregnant.. I need this do you understand? If she dies I will lose both of them,' he explains.

'Why don't you ask Levi?'
'He won't give me it, I've been annoying him for years.'
'But you mean something to me and he knows that and he's not a monster.. just ask him, no need to sneak in and risk getting caught.'
'Can't you ask him for me?' He plead.
'That's just weak..' 'Please.'

I sigh and roll my eyes.

'Fine, I'll do it. Is that it?'
'No, I need to tell you something.'
'Well get on with it.'

Pov Levi

His eyes changed from annoyance to disbelief to frightened.
I tried so hard not to interfere when he looked at me.
Whatever he was telling him Calum had a hard time to believe it.

Impatiently I drum my fingers on the bar where I was waiting for them to finish.

I hated the fact he was alone..
Hated it.

Yes we were in the room, yes we would be there if he got attacked, but one gunshot could be the end of him and we would be too late.
Felix wouldn't do something like that, I know, but the idea haunted me.
I don't want him to be in danger, I wish he could just roam around outside not worrying about his safety like he used to, before I came into his life and ruined it.

Everything is my fault, there's no denying that and I hated myself for it.

This guy is just.. amazing and he deserves so much more than he's getting.

I get pulled out of my thoughts when I notice Felix standing up and walking towards me.

'Why did you marry him?'

Somehow I knew he would ask me this, he seemed so confused about it.

'Because I do actually love him despite what you or others may think. He could have died and I just.. needed to, I wanted everyone to see how much I actually cared about him.'
'Via an arrange marriage?'
'It sounds bad, I know, no need to have another one tell me.'

He nods and pats my shoulder, what makes me flinch since I don't know why he did it.

'Look out for the boy okay?'
'I'm trying my best, I really do.'
'Watch out for Daniel and the others,' he whispers.
'I know, I don't trust any of you.'

He nods and walks away from my sight.

This is my call to sit down across from Calum.

'What did he ask from you?'
'An antidote,' he admits.
'That's all? You seemed upset?'
'No it's fine,' he replies lazily.
'Calum, what did he tell you?' I try again.
'Not now let me.. just let me sink it in.'

'Alright then, he wants an antidote. What for?' 'His pregnant wife,' he mutters, 'That's a lie isn't it?'
'We can find out, if it's a lie he isn't going to get anything, if it isn't I will need to think about it.'
'Because you don't like him?' He asks.
'No I mean, we can check if his wife is pregnant and if she looks sick, but we don't know if she has the virus so I don't know what he's going to do with it.'

'But they can create their own right?'
'They're too slow, more people get sick and they can't keep up with it.'
'So the innocent die?'
'If they come to this town they don't, we have enough.'
'Why don't sell it outside of the walls?'
'We don't have enough.'
