"Phoenix!" Edgeworth desperately called out after his boyfriend as he watched him leave the room from his position upon the cool tiles lining the floor.
"Phoenix!" The prosecutor forced one of his stiff limbs forwards in an attempt to chase after him, but his body felt like lead.

Phoenix was crying.

The frantic, muffled, sobs escaping from the other room were more-than-audible as the sound-waves echoed across the vast expanse of the corridor and kitchen until they reached the static atoms around the silvery-haired man's astute ears.
"Ghk, damnit..." Edgeworth cursed under his breath, clutching the area around his pancreas in order to combat the, sluggishly rising, nausea within his body. The prosecutor eventually arrived outside of the room, feeling himself go especially pale as he set eyes upon the frail, unsure, man in front of him.

He was loosely dressed; but dressed all the same.

With his crumpled royal-blue suit around those slumped shoulders and that uniquely bright pink and crimson tie loosely hanging from the curves of his beautifully defined neck, Phoenix Wright leant against the smooth, lightly painted, surface of the right-hand wall of the prosecutor's apartment, quietly whimpering to himself as he stared blankly down at the polished wooden floor. The very sight of him made the prosecutor feel the dread-filled sensation of lumps of phlegm rising in the back of his throat at the very sight of the nostalgic scene, all of those months slamming into him like a brick wall - only with much more force.
"You're... Dressed?" Edgeworth managed to exclaim as his trembling boyfriend staggered backwards, away from him, those beautiful blue eyes refusing to focus on his angular face.
"I-I'm l-leaving.." The silvery-haired man felt his stomach lurch as he watched another tear roll down Phoenix's pale cheeks and make the long journey down until it finally hit the floor with a melodramatic 'pat'.
"Phoenix, no.. No, you can't leave," Edgeworth's voice was hoarse and severely un-Edgeworth-like as he blurted out word after word, his resolve crumbling in face of the sudden jolting fear taking control of his body and beginning to regulate the vast amounts of adrenaline being pumped around his body at an alarming rate.
"D-Don't t-talk l-like you own m-me! Y-You obviously c-couldn't care l-less about m-me, s-so-"
"Phoenix, you don't understand, I have no idea who Atramentous is!" The prosecutor sharply stepped forward and grabbed onto his boyfriend's shoulders, accidentally aggressively dragging him forwards in his moment of desperation. The spiky-haired man looked up at the taller man in shock and fear, blinking with his thick, black, glued-together lashes, before he let out a few more strangled sobs and looked away again, speaking quietly;
"A-All th-those months ago.." He sniffed.
"Hm?"
"I-I b-bet you w-were lying, w-weren't you?"
"What?" The silvery-haired man's voice was dulled by overflowing emotion.
"Y-You didn't a-actually c-care wh-when I went m-missing..."
"Phoenix, how could you say such a horrible thing!" Edgeworth blocked out his, increasingly depressing, thoughts with any shock he could muster and placed it in the wavering intonation of his voice, quashing the growing hurricane inside his mind by busying it with other things as much as he could - but he couldn't fully get rid of it.

It was still nagging him somewhere in there.

Atramentous.

Who was Atramentous?

Why was Atramentous in his contacts list in the first place?

Phoenix is going to leave if he isn't presented with proof.

"I was crazy for you! I searched everywhere for you - we all did! Just, please... Believe me."
"H-How do I-I know y-you didn't s-set it up? P-Perhaps you w-were even laughing a-at me," Phoenix forced out a sad, regretful, laugh before his jawline was firmly gripped at either side by two large hands and his chin was gently nudged upwards to face the prosecutor as he spoke seductively to him in faint whispers, not wanting to be as harsh as he had been earlier;
"Phoenix, I love you," Before the defence attorney could even think of a sensible response to refute that sincere claim, his lips were crushed against Edgeworth's and he found himself unable to refuse the taller man entry, as his own lips were being hungrily savaged, parting his sensitive skin and allowing the silvery-haired man's tongue in with a soft mewl, his whole body growing numb with Edgeworth's intoxication.

Within moments, the prosecutor had backed his boyfriend until he had arrived a few centimetres away from the wall - upon which the taller man gently pushed the defence attorney against and planted a leg between the other's royal-blue ones so that his boyfriend would need to work if he wanted to escape. Edgeworth frowned as something salty penetrated their mouths, lathering their tongues in a glistening, clear, liquid. Phoenix bashfully hiccuped into the embrace with another shower of tears cascading down his adorably curved cheeks until each trickling droplet eventually entered their unsuspecting mouths, his eyes widening in fear through the man-made rain as he felt Edgeworth tighten around his lower area, and tried to pull away as best he could (which resulted in the two parting a few minutes later).
"E-Edgeworth..." The defence attorney huskily panted, his crimson blood rushing to his head and cheeks, resulting in a warm rosy glow spreading across his smooth, cream skin.
"Oh, goodness.." The prosecutor exclaimed;
"You haven't taken your medicine! Of course... That's why you went crazy.."
"N-No..." Phoenix's tired eyes instantly widened in terror, his crystal-blue eyes surrounded by an alluring white sea - which was rather befitting for the abnormally pale skin surrounding it - and his body shaking more than an earthquake.

"D-Don't..."
