"D-Don't...!" Phoenix's wavering voice screamed despite the lack of physical agony he was currently experiencing, his brain finally catching up with what was going on - withering and quaking in its metaphorical boots as it noticed the shocking reality of the situation.
"We're sorry, Feenie.. It's not like we had a-"
"Shut up!" Dahlia angrily hissed at her black-haired sibling whilst tugging her, strangely Khurainian, lavender clothing's baggy sleeve towards her.
"Who said that we were sorry? Don't you dare speak for me, idiot. You're the sorry one."
"Oh, come on, Dahlia! You're always like this. Just because we have to wait for-" The defence attorney writhed in his uncomfortable (to say the very least) position atop the cylindric object, beginning to make slightly more panicked, animalistic, noises of desperation by this point before letting out a throaty scream.

He couldn't move.

It was just like last time.

Edgeworth... Oh, god, Edgeworth. The spiky-haired man whined, scrabbling about for purchase. Edgeworth was going to be looking for him. Edgeworth was going to be worried about him.

He was losing control.

"L-L-Leave m-me a-alone! L-Let me g-go..!" Phoenix wailed in an uncharacteristically infantile way, tears streaming down his face in elaborate rivulets before dribbling down his dotingly defined chin, as Dahlia and Iris stared him down, each accompanied by their own, narrow-eyed, steely glares.
"D-Dahlia...? I-Iris...." In stark contrast, the shorter man's thickly-lashed eyes widened with petrified emotion and his voice seemed to lose its sharp edge in order to adopt a quieter, more vulnerable, tone as he cautiously eyed the pair, his soft skin paling.
"I-Iris, p-please... P-Please, p-please... S-Stop her... Y-You're n-not a bad p-person..."
"I'm sorry, Feenie." The defence attorney flinched at the domestic use of the traumatic nickname, his eyes flicking to meet Dahlia's demonic form as he did so, despising how he trembled at the sight, cowering in fear. The blood-red-headed ex-girlfriend laughed hysterically all of a sudden as she faced her ex-boyfriend head-on;
"Look at him." Dahlia continued to giggle, her face contorted with delight, leaving Phoenix as a wreck with his corrosive tears streaming down his face.
"Huh?" Iris turned to her sibling with a doubtful glare.
"I thought men were supposed to be the dominant ones, didn't you?"
"I suppose,"
"But look at him. Look at how he's at our mercy. Look at how he's too afraid of us to even protest!" Dahlia mockingly pointed at him.
"We have him at our mercy. Us - a pair of women." Iris couldn't help but chuckle at that. Of course the defence attorney knew that the pair were true feminists and didn't mean a word they said about male supremacy, but it still did little to remove the salt from his wounds - especially when they were casting such malicious glances in his direction.

The matches were still poised in the pair's hands - waiting.

"What does that make you, Phoenix?" The spiky-haired man's throat quickly became dry, his heart pounding unimaginably fast in his throat.
"Not a man?"
"A woman?" Iris joined in, grinning maniacally as she noticed the quaking fear in the submissive man's eyes.
"I-I'm... A-A.... M-Man..." Phoenix tentatively squeaked as, without warning, the match within their sneaky grasps was aggressively slammed against the box it had previously been born in before being coaxed nearer to to the bottom of the object that the helpless defence attorney was so cruelly attached to.
"W-What are you-" The spiky-haired man gasped as the freshly-sparked flame daintily blew in the wind, sparkling evilly and emitting menace, as it soaked up the fear - the ever growing, heart-wrenching, fear - that the defence attorney was now emitting.

~ DISCONTINUED (for the time being)...

Heya everyone! I'm genuinely really really sorry to be stopping the story here for now :(
I've honestly been going through a writer's block for this story in particular as of late - hence why I've not been updating it until now - and, although I still have many many months of anticipation, effort & planning which I'd had rushing through my head whilst writing L&F still sitting and waiting inside my half-wit brain, I just simply don't know how to formulate the ideas and convert them into words.
I will be writing a new book based on a Mitsunaru AU, though! Sorry for my inactivity ;_;
Ghh

THIS STORY WILL PROBABLY BE CONTINUED WHEN I GET OVER MY WRITER'S BLOCK.

Yours sincerely,
A complete and utter idiot called 'ThatNarumitsuAccount'
