Chapter 29
Over the next few weeks, more and more of Olivia's things found their way to Ryan's house. He had gotten used to seeing her toothbrush and makeup on the bathroom counter. Her shampoo, conditioner and razor in his shower. Now her clothes were starting to find their way into his closet. He loved it. He loved having her around. His house had never been so clean. He had never ate so well, and he had never had such amazing sex. Most of all, he loved her.
He wondered why she was still going back and forth between her house and his, even though she hadn't slept there in months. Why didn't she just move it? Probably because he had never asked her to. Maybe it was time.
This was a huge step for him. He and Lauren had been together for a year, but he had never asked her to move in.
Olivia was in the kitchen, standing at the stove cooking. She loved to cook, and she was pretty damn good at it. He walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, nuzzling her neck. "Smells good." He murmured, inhaling the coconut scent of her hair, and the smell that was just...Olivia.
"Chicken Alfredo." She commented.
"I meant you smell good." He said.
She giggled. "So cheesy. You're such a dork."
"But I'm your dork and you love me." He laughed. This never got old.
"Yes you are, and yes I do." She replied, stroking the side of his face with her hand as she leaned against him.
"So uh... I noticed you moved some more things in here." He began.
"Is that a problem? I probably should have asked first." She tensed up.
"Yeah, it is a little bit of a problem." He said, biting back a smile.
She turned around to look at him, and her face fell.
"I can move everything back. I..."
"It's only a problem because I know you have way more stuff than that and I think you just need to move everything in here." He cut her off.
Her eyes grew wide. "You want me to move in? Here? With you? That's a big step. Are we ready for that?"
"Livvy, when was the last time you actually slept at your house?" He asked.
She looked thoughtful. "Probably right before Pocono, when we started dating."
"You're pretty much just going home to get clothes and check your mail. You're paying rent for a house that you haven't slept in in months."
"I actually don't pay rent. My family owns the property." She stated.
He realized she still had not given him an answer. "What do you say Livvy? Would you move in with me. Officially?"
She hesitated for a moment. Having her own place was a big deal for her, although she spent nearly every moment with Ryan. Was she ready to give up her last shred of independence? She took one look into his blue eyes. The hopeful expression on the face she loved so much, the hands resting on her waist. She quickly realized there was no place she'd rather be but by his side.
"Of course I will Ry." She said with a smile. As with everything else in her relationship with Ryan thus far, she jumped in head first, eyes wide open. He brought out a fearlessness in her that she had never experienced before, and she embraced it.

"That's the last box. I'm tired and need a break. We can unpack later." Olivia sighed exhausted, and she and Ryan collapsed on the couch, as she took a long gulp of the Body Armor he handed her.
After deciding to move in together, Ryan and Olivia wasted no time. After enlisting help from Bubba, Dean and Erin, by the following evening, nearly everything from Olivia's house had been packed up and moved into Ryan's house. Mostly it was clothing. A few Knick knacks and photos. She did not have any furniture or appliances, so that made the move much easier.
They ordered a pizza and Bubba, Dean and Erin stuck around for a little while, but everyone was wiped out and went home shortly after.
"We'll get to it tomorrow. Right now, I just want a hot shower, bed and you." Olivia said, pressing herself closer to Ryan. She could not remember a time in her life that she felt happier. Moving in together was a big step, but she felt it with every fiber of her being that it was right.
"I have the podcast to do in the morning, but then I can help you with unpacking." Ryan said, putting his arm around Olivia, and pulled her against him. He couldn't be more thrilled that Olivia had agreed to move in.

The following morning, Olivia got up as Ryan was about to leave, to begin unpacking. About an hour into the task, she heard the door bell ring. Erin had said she may drop by in the morning, so that was probably her. As Olivia opened the door, there was a beautiful blonde standing on the other side, but it wasn't Erin. Olivia's breath caught in her throat. What the hell?
"Hi Olivia right? We haven't officially met. I'm Lauren."
Olivia looked down at her ratty sweatpants and t-shirt, her hair piled on her head in a messy bun, then looked at the woman standing in front of her looking like she just stepped out of the pages of a magazine. From the top of her perfectly styled blonde hair to the tips of her expensive designer shoes. Olivia felt all of her insecurities come rushing back. She swallowed nervously.
"I know who you are. I'm sorry, but Ryan is not here right now." Olivia said tensing up. What in the world was Lauren doing here? What did she want? She knew Ryan would not be happy about this. Lauren sure didn't know how to take a hint.
"I know Ryan's not here. I actually wanted to talk to you. Is it alright if I come in?"
